Anise winced at the Dragon's reaction. She saw the violet and realized that she needed the Violet Lantern to do what she wished. Suddenly, she was flying. She had never experienced it before except in her dreams and it was everything she imagined and more. She let the gryphon feel her excitement and joy over the flow of the air through her hair. She wanted it to know that even though she was afraid for her life she found pleasure in this small thing. She saw with the assistance of the hawk mask the Violet and Green Lanterns off in the distance and the Red Lantern in the forest. She hoped that the stranger that held the Red Lantern was safe. She knew that the white lantern was here somewhere and it was probably being guarded by the pirate and his partner the gryphon.

Before she knew it she was flat on her back with the pirate looming over her, foot on the Blue Lantern.

"That's a pretty glowy thing you got there." He grinned down at her, leaning his weight on the Lantern. He was armored to the teeth in mismatched and dented iron and leather, carved with runes and painted with crude drawings of flowers and birds -- as if a child had used his armor as a canvas. Behind him, the gryphon sat down and stared steadily at Anise.

"Where do you think a squirrel like this got a pretty sort of thing like that?" the pirate asked the gryphon without taking his eyes off the Lantern.

She panted heavily, the exhilaration of flying in conjunction with being thrown onto her back had knocked the wind out of her. She looked over his runes on his mismatched armor, she glanced at his sword - a familiar artifact - and then she glanced over towards the gryphon. In spite of her current situation she smiled at the gryphon. She turned her gaze back to the pirate, heart pounding heavily.

She slowly raised her free hand towards her face as she did not want to let go of the Spirit Lantern. "I-I'm going to be taking my mask off." She hadn't completely caught her breath thus the slight stutter. She lifted the mask so it rested at the top of her head. "I'm Anise." She glanced over to the gryphon again before returning her gaze back to the pirate before her. "Do you fly all the time?" She grinned. "That was exciting!"

She knew the Kith almost never took off their masks and when they did the Forest tended to react. She hoped to befriend the pirate and the gryphon so she could more safely move around the wreck.
OK... This is tied for my most favorite RP ever! @Mokley I love all of your RPs! I love this group! It feels so good to be a part of an epic and incredible story! :D

"THE FASTEST ROUTE TO THE GROUND LEVEL IS A STRAIGHT JUMP FROM THE OUTSIDE LANDING." A red dot appeared at their location on the lit-up map, and a dotted line followed it as the dot leaped to the ground.

Vincent stifled a laugh at this statement. He wanted to believe the robot had a sense of humor, but it was far more likely it had no sense of human mortality. Either way he found the statement to be most amusing. He quickly calmed down however and listened to the barrage of statements the robot made as it answered every question that was asked of it.

"THE QUEEN'S ARMORY IS LOCATED AT THE NORTH WALL, LEVEL FOURTEEN, 2D6." The view changed, and another dot appeared at the appropriate place at the north side of the wall.

"ADDITIONAL ARMAMENTS ARE LOCATED EVERY TWENTY FEET AT THE TOP OF THE WALL." A view of the circumference of the wall appeared, dotted red.

"EMERGENCY PROTOCOL ARMAMENT STOREROOM IS LOCATED DIRECTLY BELOW YOUR CURRENT LOCATION LEVEL SIX ROOM 5Q4." A map of the interior of the wall appeared, with their current location marked and a red dot blinking far below, closer to the ground.

"BATTLE-READY IMPLANTS ARE LOCATED ON THE CURRENT FLOOR SURGERY ROOM." This time a map of the infirmary and the surrounding rooms appeared, with a red dot in the surgery room.

"PROJECT WILLOW LOCATION IS UNKNOWN." The red dot disappeared.

"THE STAIRWELLS EACH DESCEND FIFTEEN LEVELS AND ARE LOCATED IN CLOSE PROXIMITY AND MAY BE ROUTED TO THE GROUND." A map of the wall interior appeared again, with the stairwells highlighted in red. The stairwells were staggered every fifteen floors but could be easily navigated to the ground.

He frowned briefly as he recognized the North Wall being too far at the moment and the armaments on top of the Wall likely were a bad idea to get too, but perhaps the safest option of such things. Implants left him feeling a bit queasy, but since they were right here he'd investigate regardless. At least there was an emergency storeroom below them and it would be easy enough to get to. He looked at the others in the room. It seemed like there were people with the same idea he did: grab whatever implant would work and then head downstairs.

Suddenly the Wall itself started shaking as earth shattering BOOMs rattled the base of it. The damned beasts intended to tear a hole in the Wall for their other brethren to come through. He decided to not say anything as all he'd do is add to the noise. Then Kat faced him as if she were to speak, she stopped whatever she was going to say, and eventually did speak.

“Do you think there’s any way we can ask a question to find out more on that ‘Project Willow’? If not, I can just extract the bot’s central data storage unit and analyse it later.”

He wondered why she hesitated, but decided he would inquire at a later point of time if he felt necessary. He felt quite pleased that she was asking something from him. This made him feel important which he certainly loved, but that pleasure was a private one and definitely inappropriate to express visually. "Of course." He said in a helpful tone.

He then faced the robot. "Tell us all details you know of Project Willow." He turned back to Kat and put a hand on her shoulder with a smile. "Everything will be alright." He was absolutely assured of this. After all he had was confident he had everything he needed to fix everyone he wanted.

Vincent felt less than hopeful about getting much useful about the Project, so he stepped away from the robot and headed towards the Surgery room nearby. He was curious about the implants and if anything wanted to explore the place before circumstance forced them to leave. He stopped the moment he saw the pink glow underneath the surgery table. He stepped past Liam and knelt down at the surgery table and saw the stone child curled up fearfully and that soulstone right there near her chest. He grinned lightly and grabbed it from the air and put it right into his pocket next to Randy's soul. Another for the soul collection. To him there was no prize greater than that of a human soul.
I'm going to do what I did last time and wait a bit through everyone else's posts before I get something up myself. I was pretty happy with how it was for Vincent last time around.

Anise barely had any time to be surprised at the reaction the Lantern had to the lightning of the sword. The gryphon soon after dove right for her. She had hardly a moment to think. How could she defend against it? She could throw her will at it and hope that it and the Lantern combined would be enough, but she imagined there might be some protections against the Lantern's power. However, the power of the Dragon did defeat the lightning of the pirate's sword. More than anything, she didn't want to kill either of them. Knowing the paranoia of the pirates about the Dragon, she'd have to incapacitate them somehow to get the Lantern here.

The ship wasn't far away maybe she could dive into the lake and swim the remaining distance. Except, that would probably be suicide because the water would drench whatever clothing she had left and slow her down heavily as soon as she left the water.

She then realized that she was probably being attacked because she was wearing a mask and probably had been mistaken for a Kith. She braced herself and threw up her will against the gryphon. She wanted to make it think she was more to the side than she actually was causing it to dive into the water. If she could project her emotions and thoughts into other creatures perhaps she had the power to make them believe something that wasn't true. She had no doubt that she could make this work.

Wooo birthdays!!!
Hopefully work doesn't destroy your brain... That would be a sad thing. We don't like sad things...
Ha ha! I did it. Although, wow... I'm a bit impressed with Vincent's attitude and I'm the one writing his feelings and reactions.
"We're in bad shape, people."

Vincent gave the man a dismissive look. He was perfectly healthy and definitely hadn't given up on the grim situation. After all, he had already found the silver lining in all of this. He held the raw power of a soul, and he imagined a few of these folks had grabbed some souls out of curiosity all without knowing what they held. If he could figure out how he could bring back whomever he wanted back from their petrified selves, or he could use their soul for more interesting acts. If anything despite the circumstances, he was excited.

We are under prepared for the situation we currently are in. We need, or at least most of you need some proper weapons if we even want to think of surviving today. Say all you want about your sigil’s but I seriously doubt that those things can keep you alive against something like the grit. So I suggest that one of this …..group? are we even grouping? Ah no matter as I was saying I suggest that one of our priorities should be to get you lot armored up properly. Oh and I’m Liam by the way nice to meet you all. He said with a quick smile before standing up and moving towards the surgery door and opening it slightly and using the barrel of his pepperbox to slowly open the door all the way.

I also suggest that we get off this wall as quickly as possible. I doubt all the grit charged the city at once so my best guess is that some are roaming the floors of the wall and I would hate to run into another one today. He said looking back at the group before slowly entering the surgery room.

Vincent nodded in agreement with this guy. Getting off the Wall would be ideal. Staying here for much longer would be wasting time and risking the Grit coming back knocking. He glanced at the door that had been scratched at by a Grit not at all too long ago. He definitely wasn't interested in whenever it came back for round two.

Someone started rustling through the medical Sigils and Vincent thought briefly about joining him to grab one each so he could study and learn the design of each Sigil so he could add more to his repertoire. He restrained himself though, because he'd definitely think less of himself for looting and he definitely didn't want to be judged by the people around him either.

Kat got to work on the robot after introducing herself, something he supposed he'd have to do himself soon.

"I need to pee."

Vincent's gaze turned to the nerdiest looking person in the room. He blinked a couple times. What could this guy being doing up here? Well that didn't matter. Vincent's expression changed to an "are you serious?" expression as he gestured towards the room with the label "TOILET" on it.

"I'm sure you can take care of yourself," he told the man. He sounded calmer than he probably should considering what just happened, but Vincent never processed emotions in any normal fashion. There were a few times that his butler called him a "high-functioning sociopath". The man was quickly replaced as such behavior was not tolerated.

“Please tell us the fastest route to Periphery from this room. Also, please indicate in your description any nearby armouries.”

Vincent shook his head. That was no way to talk to a machine. All it would say is for them to go out the door and take the trolley down just like they came up and they knew that wasn't an option. He cleared his throat. "Perhaps we should ask it a different question? The thing could just say go out the door and hit the trolley." He turned his attention to the robot. "Do the stairs go all the way down to the ground? Also, tell us of any armories along the way down if any and any that are near the base of the Wall itself." He didn't care about walking down stairs. In his free time he did nothing but traipse around town, occasionally with a new fling around his arm although all of them were his age, not older.

He glanced at Kat before quickly looking at the robot for its answer. Someone older, even if not by much was definitely new territory for him. He ignored the compliment towards Kat by the man who stated they were in bad shape as he had already clearly gestured towards the bathroom that was in this hospice and didn't need to waste time with asking stupid questions to the robot.
