Bio

I'm not really the type to spend hours working on my bio. However, my name is Dru and I enjoy the occasional roleplay. I like to consider myself one of the biggest nerds for Harry Potter, Kingdom Hearts, and several animes. I'm a bit of a romantic, but romance can never replace a good plot and I would rather have none if it ensures that the story will remain fresh and exciting.

I usually try to be very friendly. I will reciprocate the respect that you bring to the table. I prefer most of my roleplay partners to be at least 17+. Though I will make exceptions based on maturity usually. That's pretty much it. If you have any questions past that I'm afraid you'll have to message me.

Actually, I think I might fall out of this one. I'm kind of busy and can't give it the time it needs.

NOOOOOOOO! T_T
After quietly making sure that the injured player would survive, his attention had wavered back to his sustenance. When his food arrived, he had barely taken the time to inspect its quality before he was inhaling it. The taste of the food was remarkable. He followed his large bites with drafts from his tankard of mead, enjoying the somewhat bitter taste of the beer.

There was quite a crowd crammed into the Inn, some eating, while others stood idly around chatting. He had just been finishing his food when louder shouts than usual filled the room. A player was trying to skive off paying for his food, and while Travis usually tried to stay on the right side of the law he could understand the struggles of trying to maintain a decent level of gold. The prices of the food were ridiculous, almost four hundred gold for a decent meal.

The waitress who had taken his order earlier was screeching about thieves, and Travis took that as his cue to leave. He placed the appropriate coin on the table. The player was apologizing profusely to the jester, who he had seemingly collided with. After making sure that all his belongings were intact, followed the group out the door. For a moment he had thought that he had lost them, until he heard the explosions.

Travis was sure that being in a town kept you safe from being killed, but was sure that the rules changed for the rule breakers. The spell had hit a stall, and it was currently smoldering. He barreled down the alleyway where the Chef could still be heard cursing the player from the other side. Once free of the alley.

The Chef stood there spouting obscenities over the lost money. Travis pulled up even with him pausing for a moment. “How much did he owe you?” The mercenary asked nonchalantly.

There was a second where Travis thought that the Chef would instead attempt to turn his wrath on him. After a moment though he visibly deflated, looking downright depressed. “That’s the third one this week,” He replied, though not necessarily answering the question Travis had even asked. In response Travis opened his inventory, causing gold coins to appear. He pushed them into the Chef’s hand who instantly started sputtering about how it wasn’t Travis’ problem to begin with.

Travis shook his head with a slight grin. “Just take the money and leave him be, a lot of the players are having a rough time farming the gold that they need these days.” The tank raised a hand in farewell, before returning to a steady trot down the street. There was a slight grumbling behind him before the Chef finally conceding to return to the tavern.

Travis didn’t leave the city as much, and since the launch of the game had tended to prefer to be a solo player. When he reached the wall, he paused. Once he left here, he was fair game for the monsters. Sitting around and making armor could only keep someone busy for so long however. Without a backward glance he left the safe zone.

The flowers were beautiful, and sometimes Travis could hardly believe that they weren’t real. His senses begged to differ. After searching around for a moment, he could see the player standing in the middle of a rather large flower field. “Hey you!” He shouted to Sebastian, raising his hands to show that he meant no harm. “I paid off your debt, they shouldn’t be pursuing you anymore.” He voiced with a slight grin.

“The names Travis Ironhide, and you are?”

When I imagine the floating islands, I see a huge piece of land with a city taking over about 40-50% of it. The rest would be terrain so yes there would definitely be trees, fields, cliffs, etc. Also don't be afraid to just add information that would contribute to creating the world around us. Its not only my RP its all of ours :P

That's good to know. I was a bit hesitant on creating anything extra, but I'll be sure to do so in following posts. :)

Also, I've decided I'm going to let 2-5 posts pass before I go again to ensure everyone has a chance to get in on the action.
The coals of the forge burned red hot emitting a glow over the face of Travis Ironhide. Sweat poured from his face and limbs as he struck at a blistering piece with a hammer, thinning and folding the hot metal. He continued this for a moment, before replacing his hammer into his inventory. After viewing it and ensuring that no cracks were present, Travis used the tongs to maintain a firm grip on the glowing armor. Quickly he turned and plunged it into a large trough a water. Steam hissed around him as the heat was transferred off of the nearly finished armor. Truth be told this armor wasn’t even for him, though he had his own set that was similar.

Upon finding that they were unable to log out, he had taken to building armor for other players. It made a little coin that everyone so desperately needed, and he requested that they supply the materials. Travis pulled the armor out of the water to add the finishing touches before turning it over to its rightful owner for payment. At first there had been a panic, but after a few days most things conceded. Most seemed to accept the life now, and some type of normalcy had resumed.

With a grin, he whispered the player who requested the armor. Shortly after his HUD flashed indicating that he received a trade request. Eagerly Travis accepted it and handed over the armor from his inventory in exchange for enough gold to get by another day. As if on cue his stomach gave a loud grumble. It was so surreal, all the urges of daily life had been implemented into this reality. He had been lucky so far thanks to his choice to build his character into a tank. As long as he didn’t get careless, he had hopes of surviving a long while. Another low grumble from his stomach jarred him from his thoughts.

Travis hastily selected the outfit feature, changing into his low grade bronze armor. The familiar weight of his shield and sword appeared. Once his equipment fully loaded, he started off across the plaza towards the inn. He was in desperate need for warm food and cold drink to replenish some energy. He neared the entry and pushed through the door to the tavern. After surveying the available seats, he found an open table close to the door.

A few moments later a waitress appeared at his side. “Hello sir, can I interest you in any food and drink?” she began politely, handing over a menu. Travis took a moment, his eyes briefly scanning the menu.

“Yes,” He responded in his deep voice. “I’ll have a pint of your mead, and a bowl of your beef stew.” The waitress smiled, nodding before reaching for his menu. He allowed it to go, his stomach growling again. “I’ll put your order in, your food should be out shortly.” She replied as she made her way back to the kitchens. As he waited for his food, another player burst through the door. If he had any type of healing he would have rushed to his side immediately. As it was however, he decided he would just get in the way. Travis looked around the bar for the familiar robes of a mage, a bit of an uneasy feeling in his stomach.

Though the wound wasn't fatal, it seemed to be causing the player a great deal of pain.

Free flow is fine. Consideration is key, though. Ike should do the job of RP master properly >:3

Definitely this. As long as people don't get too out of hand and leave other players a wall of text to read every time to catch up we should be fine. :) Looking forward to roleplaying with you all.
The sturdiness of my guy is always for hire. (; If the coin is right.

I vote for this one then.

Any name will do really, but this one is fine with me as well.

Any particular reason? That's the part I really like lol.

Agreed. What's the aversion to covenant?

Regardless; synonyms: contract, agreement, undertaking, commitment, guarantee, warrant, pledge, promise, bond, indenture; pact, deal, settlement, arrangement, understanding

What we really need is a Blacksmith, though.

I agree. I'll grow crops for whoever gives me armor. xD
Personally both the Covenant of Misfits and (The) Lost Souls/Tribe sound good. Both names are class neutral, and not too dark.
