A fiery romance? Wow...the thought was pretty shocking and exciting all at the same time! Hoshiko blushed a bit before sitting down at her seat, while the others went about their business. They even got some answers, vague as they were. Still. everything was too surreal...now they were being asked to go on a journey for answers? It was just so crazy...

Hoshiko gasped a little when the blue key appeared in her hand, and the door appeared at the side of the room. So they could come back whenever they wanted? Well, that'd be handy, as Hoshiko had plenty of things she wanted to know. She made a mental note to pay a visit to the docks whenever the chance presented itself. They all began to file out of the room through the new door, leading Hoshiko to awaken with a start in her bed. The Velvet Room and Priscilla were incredibly vivid in her memory...much more than a dream. Looking at the note on her desk, she remembered the meeting at lunch. Throwing on a light pink skirt, cork sandals, and a long sleeve white blouse after her shower, Hoshiko put her hair back in a pony tail with a flower tie, and headed off to school.

Classes were normal, and nothing unusual occurred. Thank goodness... Hoshiko sighed mentally, thankful that the Hour of Reflection didn't ruin the school day for her and the others. Lunch came soon enough, and Hoshiko began making her way to the meeting spot on the note left by Touko. She had to double back to get her lunch, though, so it took her a bit longer. When she arrived, only Cruz, Tsukiko, Kazu, and Touko herself was present. Hoshiko frowned a bit...had the others decided to ignore the note, or had they just gotten held up? Either way, Hoshiko was eager to hear what the first year, and everyone else, had to say. "Hey everyone! Wow, not a huge turnout, huh?" Hoshiko said, before sitting against the wall and taking out her boxed lunch.
Once the last Shadow fell, Hoshiko's chest heaved and she felt drained. With each arrow Cupid had fired, some of her strength went with it. Her Persona had faded away, and the floor returned to normal. The second year fell to the floor, leaning against a wall. "Wow, that was rough..." She said exasperatedly, not even trying to question what exactly that was. Her mind was much too tired for that. Touko was holding onto Ken's leg for dear life, which made Hoshiko sort of sad. They were all pretty shocked and terrified, but she seemed to be taking it especially hard.

It wasn't long after that when the teacher watching over the dorm came in, named Kanimari. He was a terrifying man, in his stature, and when he slammed his fist down to accentuate his point, Hoshiko darted up the stairs with little more than a scared "Yessir!". In her room, she got in her pajama pants (floral print, of course), and a white tank top, and began surfing the web for anything she could about what had occurred. The girl turned up little to nothing. Frustrated, she was ready for bed, but a knock followed by a note slipped under the door coaxed her to get up. It was from Touko, saying that they should all meet behind the gym at lunch. Nodding her head, Hoshiko placed the note on her desk, and laid down on her bed, ready for sleep.
In the dead of sleep, a creaking door brought Hoshiko's subconscious into the blue of the Velvet Room. Huh? This feels...familiar... She thought, before realizing the others were there as well. It was coming back to her now...this was where her dream from the night before came from! Hoshiko's eyes focused on the woman behind the desk, the old man seemingly not around. She congratulated them on their achievement, and how she was glad she didn't have to intervene. Intervene?...She hardly looks like she could do anything very destructive. Then again, neither do we... The girl thought to herself, remembering their Personas.

Priscilla offered to reveal to them the arcana they held, as she logged things in her book, asking the ones who had awakened their Persona to step forward. Weren't arcana those things on tarot cards that fortune tellers used? Like the ones from the first dream, and the old man! Tentatively, Hoshiko stood. "Well, I have no idea what these arcana have to do with things, but...sure, I'll give it a go." She smiled at Priscilla, before stepping forward a bit more.
Moooaaaar jailbreak!

Also, I'm finally trying to get back to finishing the followers after being a lazy ass. I bring you Thyra: Home Edition! Want to pick up your own copy of our resident barbarianess? Find her at Candlehearth Hall in Windhelm! (The vanilla hairs in my game disappeared because I goofed, so I apologize for her having unfitting hair. I'mma try and fix that.)
Elayna listened to Zaveed with empty eyes, feeling more than a bit hollow. Yes, it was for the good of everyone. But that didn't mean she wouldn't see the face of that guard, or the bandit in the cave on their first night, in her nightmares. They were corrupted, unjust...but they had pasts. Lives of their own, a story penned by their own hands. And it was by her's that she brought them to an end. There was nothing natural about it, and for one who lived off of and learned to love the cycles of their world, it was painful to interrupt that flow. Her only recourse was to keep reminding herself that her opponents brought it upon themselves.

She was jostled from her thoughts when the Khajiit pulled her along, with Reigenleif behind them, into the guardhouse. It wasn't remarkable in the least, and even resembled a simple cottage. They had barged into the kitchen, as sparse as it was. The place was empty of inhabitants, at least momentarily. A shabbily prepared guard rushed out of a door to their side, searching for the source of the disturbance outside. Zaveed quickly apprehended him, before either of the women could respond. However, this did not stop Elayna from preparing an Ice Spike spell in her right hand. The extra magicka needed to form the projectile in the hot climate was already beginning to weigh on her. It proved to be a good move, as two more guards barged in the room. They were armored, and much more prepared. Reigenleif targeted the woman with lightning and fire, leaving the man to Elayna.

Letting the spike fly, Elayna used her remaining magicka to prepare another in her left palm. The guard was ready, and dodged the first, and moved to swing his sword at Elayna, but the woman ducked before her head could get lopped off. Using the angle to her advantage, and sent the spell at an angle into his ribcage, finding a space underneath the chest piece. As the guard fell dead, Elayna closed her eyes to combat the migraine in her head. Magicka expenditure was never pleasant, especially in such terrible heat. She wasn't a trained mage in the sense that Reigenleif was, so she had to come up with ways to deal with such issues so often. Normally, she'd brew herself a cup of Jazbay leaf tea with honey, using the dried leaves left over from her perfume stocks...but that wasn't available at the moment.

Getting up, and avoiding looking at the dead bodies on the floor, Elayna helped search the room for anything of interest. Of course, there wasn't much there. Zaveed had retrieved the key, and they were standing at the door into the prison below. She made sure to follow his instruction of keeping quiet, and followed their Nord companion into the cool depths. It was a remarkable construction, much bigger than one would perceive. It was actually quite dazzling that the Redguards had performed such an incredible act of masonry. Their leader asked them how they would like to handle the situation. Elayna pondered for a moment..."I'm not necessarily a master of stealth, but I wouldn't be able to hold off more than one, maybe two guards...especially with this damned headache." She clenched her fist at the realization that getting out of this without more death was going to be impossible. All of the prisoners were at stake, and they were needed for the rebellion. The Breton had to swallow her disgust for the act.

Her hand went to the dagger at her thigh. "I just want to get this over with. If you two give me an opening, I might be able to run to the back and find the keys. If they are indeed at the desk down there, then I'll just have to be quick and pray I don't get killed." Elayna tried to think of another role she could fulfill, but fighting and stealth just weren't what she was built for. But running...well, there were more than a few angry animals that didn't like her poking around their dens back home.
Oh, goodness, didn't see something happened. I'll look at the thing and stuffs.
White Mage Hoshiko has joined the party!
Hoshiko only looked perplexed as Touko leaped up and complimented her hair after inspecting it thoroughly. She had never told anyone it was natural. "Wow, you've got good eyes! Though I would have never guessed that your hair was dyed, it's gorgeous!" Hoshiko encouraged, before realizing a few of the people there weren't in her class. Introductions were in order. "Oh, and I'm Hoshiko Koizumi, a second year in Class 2-4. Pleasure to meet all of you!" The girl gave a slight bow, before returning to daydreaming or listening to her new dorm-mates.

Then, out of nowhere, the floor once again glossed over into a mirror, the blobs on the other side moving and writhing. From the look on everyone's faces in the room, they were seeing it, too. However, this time would be different. Once they caught wind of them, a foul shriek pierced the air and the blobs seeped through. They had terrible claws and creepy masks, straight out of a horror film. The voice from before rang out once more in her mind, "And these, are Shadows. They are extremely dangerous beings which live inside people's minds... Your only opportunity against them is using a Persona, now, I wonder, who'll be the first one to awaken it? After all, to summon it, you need to feel a really strong emotion. I hope you have something at your disposal that will help you in this, let's say, endeavor."

What the heck was a Persona? And these Shadow things, they were just hallucinations, right? Hoshiko believed this, until Ken was slashed by the claws of a Shadow, drawing blood.

"Blood?..." Hoshiko's normally bright eyes clouded with pain and fear, recalling the bloodied body of her sister in that alley. Her hand went to the ring on her finger, the band nearly pulsing. "Aki...Make it stop!" Her eyes grew fierce, and by instinct alone, her hand moved in a circle in the air, "Persona" leaving her mouth as she did so. The circle became opaque, cracking, before a blond woman in pink garb with wings of the same hue burst forth with a shatter, and took her place behind Hoshiko. A white bow and quiver of arrows were her weapons. A name found it's way into Hoshiko's mind. "Cupid..." She whispered, before taking a step forward.

Something turned her attention to Ken's wound, and Cupid was nodding her head. Hoshiko nodded in response, telling her to go ahead and...do whatever it was she could to help Ken. The Persona raised her hand, encasing it in a pink glow. As she did this, so did Ken's leg, sealing the wound and hopefully alleviating the pain. Hoshiko was beginning to understand her role in this battle, although that didn't necessarily mean she understood anything else.
I'm gonna be gone all day most likely, so if you guys need or want to move Hoshiko to get to the stabby stabby introspection time, feel free.
At the end of the school day, Hoshiko hurriedly gathered her things and began moving out of the school. Note to self: Ditch the dang blazer! Talk about hot... Hoshiko fanner herself, regretting wearing the uniform. Almost the only class to wear them were the first years. One of the girls told her just to keep it around and she'd be okay with the administration. As she didn't really worry about getting first pickings with rooms, Hoshiko took her time with walking home and enjoying the afternoon air. With a smile on her face, she looked around the main drag of town, which she passed through on her way home, to find several shops and even a few quaint family restaurants. It all set a very nice atmosphere for the city, and excited Hoshiko. She'd definitely have to hang out here with her new dorm friends.

Making her way home finally, her father and mother were in the living room. "Welcome home, sweetheart! How was your first day?" Her mother asked. Hoshiko smiled, deciding to omit the part about having a hallucination collaboration (what a fun rhyme) with three other people. "It was great, mom! I got the list of students that'll be living in Rikkyo Hall...aaaaand I found out it's compulsory. Turns out I didn't have a choice to begin with..." She laughed sheepishly as her father took the list, and his eye twitched visibly. "Compulsory? With all of these boys? Oh, I should have a word with the faculty..." He growled, in that way father's do. The blonde girl waved her hands frantically, "No, Dad! Wait! I'm sure they've got girls and boys separate, and either way, I'll lock my door at night, just to be safe! I've already met the students from my class that'll be there, and they're all pretty nice..." It was maybe stretching the truth a bit, as they probably thought she was a nutjob aside from Yamada-san.

The burly man with dark hair and mustache sat back down on the couch, and sighed, "Alright, Hoshiko. Just...be careful, please. We couldn't bear to lose you, too." Her father said sullenly, before Hoshiko walked over to the couch and gave her dad a hug. "Remember what I said this morning? I promise I'll be alright. I'll come by whenever I can." She assured, before moving to hug her mother as well. "I better get moving if I don't want to get stuck with poor pickings!" Hoshiko exclaimed, before running into her room. Her laptop, floral magazines, a few manga, and her savings box (It had about 10k Yen), were loaded into a rolling suitcase, in addition to whatever clothes she could fit. She could always come back and get the rest.

Hoshiko said goodbye to her parents for the night, and made her way back to the school area and Rikkyo Hall. It was so detached, it was a wonder it was still in use. Entering, a few people were already there, namely Ken, Tsukiko, and Kazu, as well as a student with hair and eyes like hers that she had not met yet. Waving at them happily, she hurried up the stairs, taking note of the sign which delegated the third floor to girls. Carrying the somewhat heavy suitcase all the way up and choosing the room second to last, the young woman put her things down and started unpacking. The bright white curtains, which allowed more light in, were a very welcome sight, though she'd have to brighten the rest of the room up. She also took this chance to throw off the blazer, keeping the blue blouse.

After unpacking, Hoshiko moved to the main lobby and smiled, leaning against the wall facing the sofas. "Hey, guys!" She exclaimed, most likely a bit too happy about being forced to live with strangers for a year.
