Scarlet eyed Angelo with an almost identical look to the one she had given Jarrod, except it held more annoyance with. "Leave me alone." she stated, hinting it to be a possible threat. She didn't take kindly to strangers, to say the least. Most people didn't bother approaching her a second time unless it was to argue or get something out of her.

As Jarrod slung his arms around her and Angelo, she appeared ready to hit him but his question caught her interest before she could do so. Her gaze surveyed the sky for a moment. Something was off, that much she could tell. Both of her hands slipped down to rest on the hilts of the daggers she always carried. The daggers were sheathed at her sides in a belt holster that was similar to that you would use for a gun to some extent.

"Hmm... Maybe I'll have some work to do in this town after all..." she mumbled quietly, mainly to herself. Se moved away from the and towards the direction from which the force was coming. Then her eyes moved to look around at the crowds. If it was hostile, which it likely was, this wouldn't be pretty. Despite her rough exterior, Scarlet didn't want to see anyone die. At least not if they hadn't even done anything wrong.

Scarlet felt a few eyes go on her. She was sure a few, if not most, of them were unfriendly due to her own little outburst. However, she continued on her way without a care. That is until a strange man approached her. or at least she thought he was strange.

A look of ridicule was present on her face as he spoke. It was likely that she could spare some food. After all, she just bought some because she wanted to not because she needed it. But, Scarlet was never one for sympathy. Crossing her arms, she snorted at him. "Do I look like a charity to you?" she said bitterly, not quite liking how he acted as if they knew each other well. "I suggest looking elsewhere or getting a job."

Yep, she was one of those people. It was a strike of greed that laid within her but it usually only sparked up with small items. Such as food. Of course, Scarlet reasoned that she was simply being smart. She had to save it for her journey. The travel between towns could vary significantly.

At his last point of being watched, Scarlet took the time to briefly look around. Without being careful, she simply brushed it off with a shrug. "Oh well." she mumbled.

Scarlet wandered around the different shops looking for anything that could substantially be of use to her. Of course nothing caught her eye, and the things that did were generally too expensive. The traveler had a very low income at the moment. She made it by through doing small jobs for local townspeople whenever she reached another town. It proved to be a rather simple strategy but it also ate up a lot of her time and the pay was usually very low. Still better then nothing though.

She came to a stop in front of a small shop that offered various foods from her old home in the south. The familiar but vague smells suddenly reminded her of home, causing a feeling of homesickness. On a whim, she bought some of the longer lasting foods and stuffed them into her small satchel. Food was always a need so she figured the money hadn't gone to waste, even if it was jut because she desired the taste of the food she had been raised on.

At the mention of Yggdrasil, Scarlet turned her head so her gaze now focused on the man. His words made her roll her eyes in annoyance. Cupping her hands around her mouth she shouted loudly in response, "You over there! Close your mouth! You are wasting both my time and patience!" she hollered at the man, her voice carrying over the crowd.

Now with that said, she turned casually and began to walk on. It was as if nothing had happened. Of course she still felt a hint of annoyance. First off, she disagreed with his theory about Yggdrasil. Plus, Scarlet liked to think of herself on a break right now so the last thing she wanted to hear about was the threat she was planning on killing.

Name : Scarlet Alard

Age : 22

Region : South Region

Personality : Scarlet is much like someone you would expect to come from the Southern Region. She's strong willed with a sharp tounge. The last thing she's afraid to do is speak her mind. In fact, she tends to voice her opinion much more than needed. Along with that she's very cocky and, at times, over confident. Scarlet doesn't joke much, unless she's speaking with sarcasm. She also tends to be stubborn and hot-tempered. Some of the smallest things could set her off, but it seems that her temper isn't permenant. Scarlet is never one to hold grudges and usually lets it go fairly quickly afterwards. When it comes down to seriousness, Scarlet is like an off and on switch stuck in the middle. She feels like she has a certain duty but at the same time she never seems to get too caught up in it. Her seriousness usually depends on the situation and even with that said she usually still has some sarcastic remark to make.

Background : She grew up as the only child of a previous thieft and the town's local healer. The harsh conditions proved rather unfavorable for child birth and rearing. So, even though her origins are from within the Southern Region, Scarlet was actually born in one part of the Western Region. Her parents had learned from previous experience that babies were usually unable to survive very long there. They had lost two other children before having her. Each didn't even make it to see their first year of life.

Scarlet lived in the Western Region until she was two years old. Since she was only two, she has little to no recollection of her time spent in the Western Region.

Afterwards, she spent her time living in the Southern Region, quickly adapting to the conditions of the desert. From there, her life was rather simple but since she lived in the Southern Region, it also meant she had to fight to survive. This was especially true when a time of drought would fall over the place. Her first drought occurred when she was 13 years old. Knowing that surviving meant possibly fighting, her father taught her how to properly wield and use a dagger, which explains why she uses it so well now.

Her mother tried to teach her the lessons and art of healing but Scarlet, as a reckless and rebelious teenager, showed no interest and preferred to be practicing her fighting skills rather than learning about how to heal.

When Scarlet was around 19, her mother was pregnant again and it called for a family road trip to the Western Region again. It was there that Scarlet was no longer an only child and now had a baby sister.

When the threat of Yggdrasil was first heard of, Scarlet's family was just beginning to return to the South. They had spent a longer time there than before due to her sister falling ill. But now they had another threat. Since sitting back and watching this threat attack was not on Scarlet's agenda, she left her growing family in order to try and protect them. Of course, the only proper way to do that was by slaying Yggdrasil. Or at least that was Scarlet's plan.

Noteable Skills/Abilities : Scarlet is exceptionally skilled at weilding her daggers. She can do anything from close combat with them to range throwing. She carries two, one for each hand. Both were inherited from her father.... He gave her one and she kind of stole the other one when she headed out on her journey. She has even learned to combine her expertise of daggers with her small knowledge of using lightning to strengthen her attacks.
While she doesn't know much about healing, Scarlet has some knowledge as to how to treat simple wounds and illnesses. But this only applies when using plants and herbs from the Southern Region. Her knowledge doesn't extend past that and may be foggy at times or things can get jumbled around. So it's kind of unrelieable.
