Territory is dived into provinces witch are ruled by Governors. Expansionistic and have a Machiavellian mindset using their military to intimidate or outright conquer there weaker neighbors. But are willing to form alliances with other nation if it can be beneficial for them.

Industry - Like for the past couple of centuries the empire main has a large mining and industrial base. One of the The empire main exports are ores, metal worked items and weapons. Major imports for is fruits, Horses, silks, Spices, and dyes due to the lack of local source. The empire is known for its master crafted arms and armor. Other most prize weapons are made from Iro steel that not only gives the blade a unique patter but helps it be tough, resistant to shattering and capable of being honed to a sharp, resilient edge.. Recent military demobilization has created a small job crises as there is not enought jobs for the returning legionaries and still has not manage to fully recover from the damages caused by the civil war.
Military - Since the imperial civil war the imperial military has remodel their legions to reflect the change in technology involving dedicated firearm cohorts. Imperial legions are organized into cohorts led by a centurion. Heavy infantry makes up the backbone of the legions and due to lack of horses in the region the legion doesn't field much cavalry. Penal cohort are not consider part of the military. The imperial military is a professional army but will raise levies if needed. All male citizens between the ages of 16 to 69 are require to serve at least 5 years in the army. Non native species are organized into auxiliary units to serve along normal units.
Landscape/Terrain - A rugged and harsh land the empire calls home the more central areas of the empire is mountainous are similar to the are's on earth. Towards the out lying area it's falter and much more fertile land.

The Irodiens started out as a small city state in the turbulent and mountainous Vosta region. They existed as a small force in-till the first Emperor arrived according to their legends he conquered the region and several of the outlining area. A series of emperor’s expanded Irodein power and territory bring the empire to a great power. But an Imperial governor named Barcus desired more and wage a long civil war which eventual lead to an imperial victory. The empire has rebuild since them and is looking to show it's new military power.
