Abilities:
Agrarian - Deo is quite knowledgeable in the growing of various crops and the raising and care of livestock. He is also skilled in the art of foraging, determining between wild foliage and herbs that are safe for consumption from those that are poisonous.
Survivalist - Deo has spent most of his adult life preparing himself for an array of worst case scenarios. As such he has developed an array of skills that would allow him to survive in both the wild and more urban environments independently with minimal tools/technology. He is also a capable hunter, capable of hunting with both firearms and primitive weaponry such as bows and spears.
Alternative Biologist - Having spent many years studying the life sciences Deo knows much in regards to living organisms, and combines his scientific knowledge with alternative methods to create more natural remedies to certain illness and ailments than what tradtional medicine would provide.
Faults:
Paranoia - Due to childhood trauma Deo is fixated with the idea that behind the shadows of human society lurks otherworldly predators manipulating humanity for their own ends. His entire life is based around this paranoia. Everything he does is in preparation for the day he and those close to him are targeted once again. While this paranoia has driven him to become quite capable in many respects it has also rendered him a cold, calculating man. This paranoia causes him to see the world at large as one big hostile jungle full of unseen predators.
Darwinian complex - Life in Deo's eyes is one big struggle against death. This viewpoint is at odds with how the majority of the populace sees life, thus Deo finds that he cannot truly relate to hardly anyone. Thus he views most people as mere sheep, waiting to be slaughtered. He feels very little in regards to compassion towards most people. Why should he care what happens to most humans, if they have not the sense to develop themselves into beings worthy of life rather than mere cattle? Only the strongest desire to flourish in Deo's opinion.
Power: Biomancy- Deo has the ability to manipulate life force. He is able to modify living organisms in a number of ways.
Personality: Deo is a highly disciplined and Pragmatic man. He is a man driven by the nightmares of his past, each day he attempts to combat the nightmares by making himself stronger and more skillful. He eschews anything that does not contribute to his own growth, and as such does not have much of a social life. Due to his traumatic past he views everything and everyone outside of his sphere of influence as a potential threat or hindrance. But to those who prove their worth and strength to him he treats as family.
