So this...
is a simple 2d6 based tabletop system based upon Apoc World. A lovely little hack for a specific setting, that's as follows.
There are a variety of fae beings, but you all are among the lowest caste of them, those without wings. You live outside of the mounds, and among the world of humans, an existence that has become increasingly dangerous for a variety of reasons.
No longer are your castles and homes lived upon by the respectful celts of the old faith, but the christianization has brought great change to the area, and harsh response to your kind. The ancestors of the current humans would leave offerings, but the current ones treat you as imps and demons.
A degree of urbanization has come to the lowerclass fae, as lower nobles who can't make it in the mounds rule lands among the castletowns as entire city states. Lower fae have to struggle a bit more to survive safely.
Some of the lower fae have legitimately seemed to have become corrupted, or at least, embracing of the nature that the christians seem to think that they should have, becoming more hostile and cruel. A boogeyman for the catholics. These evil fae are known as either goblins or imps, and are dangerous, although usually they're kept out of even the most despotic citystate's walls. They're difficult to control without succumbing yourself, as has been shown. And when an entire nation falls to their corruption, they are usually found by the humans, and wiped out.
So you're now among these troubles, trying to earn yourself some wings through great deeds! Do enough, and you may earn your spot in safety, or you may die in the process. Either way, you're not made out for this typical life waiting for death, there's magic, wonder, and adventure, you're going to grab it, and you're going to get somewhere better, or maybe even take some others with you too, along the way.
So, anyone interested?
Max of 5 players at any given time, and I'd prefer no doubling up on classes! :3
