Obsessed with Disney, Hamilton, Heathers, and Wicked. Earworm cannot ridden off permanently. I'd probably play "Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story" in my funeral. For Good is Too Good! Elphaba!
Gonna try my hand at the horror genre. Will tell you if I do get real busy.
Name: Pola Queen
Age: 19
Degree: Fine Arts, specializing on Ceramics
Short description of character's outwards appearance: Short black hair, dark eyes, green-rimmed glasses, shirt under a grey hooded jacket, black pants, and sneakers. Stands at 5'4", very sleepy, but will fight you.
Short description of character's personality (including any skills/weaknesses they have): Usually quiet and polite with high preference in observing. People are surprised, however, when Pola gives them a cold shoulder or a glare, not realizing it was their noise that was making her grumpy. There are also rare but precious moments of a very salty and very angry Pola that blows up in their faces and yells obscenities. She also has a very vivid imagination and hates anything supernatural, mostly the horror genre. Paranoid as fuck.
Anything else important: Gay as hell. No time to pursue a relationship though, nor does she want to. Perfectly fine admiring people from afar. Also, gaming.
@Buglet Is this going to be a fast-paced RP where posts are needed ASAP? I'd love to join in but if it's that kinda RP where things are needed immediately, I'd stick with just reading it (seriously, just reading the summary and what happened to the tapes gave me chills). This year's December is pretty random, lol, RL keeps popping up.
@Hostile Ugh, due to reality being a bitch, I'm gonna pull out this RP. There's too many stuff happening. Hope you have a good RP session with the others!
@Hostile So sorry for not responding these past few days. It's been pretty busy and I'm trying to create my character. If you do find three more people, though, just bench me. It's cool.
I wanted an expy of Root from Person of Interest, having an AI that's talking in her ear and telling her what to do, where to shoot, how to act. Maybe I can have Quatro's AI thing in her head just doing the breaking and entering hacking segment but I'm sure I can do better if it's not accepted still. Or just literally have the history be changed into having an AI the character can order around. Or the character could just be an AI. *shrugs*
Or, scrap the AI idea totally and just have an ordinary-looking girl sipping her cafe casually while someone in the other shop has a stroke. Kasumi expy, just meaner. Or straight up murder hobo and be Renegade Shepard.
Again, I should be sleeping. Actually, I am going to sleep now.
Wow, I like that character very much. I have a first draft of my own sheet and will probably flesh it out some more tomorrow. Anything you want me to change before I expand on it some more? Thoughts are fine as well.
Name: Quatro Log
Codename: Q
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Personality: Usually accommodating, calm, quiet, and polite. Likes to keep her head down and not attract attention.
Reason for Hire: The reason Quatro was hired was because of her silent elimination of a well-known slave trader in the busy part of town without anyone noticing, except, perhaps, her new employers: the Seventh Column. Purity had sent her on a mission, signifying the minimal assistance from her AI handler, only hacking open the doors. Used to the random tests, Quatro had accepted.
It took her three days to scout out the location of interests, two days to hack into the files, and a day to formulate a plan. In another three days, Quatro managed to acquire two poisons, both odorless and colorless. When both were ingested, it would block the passageway of the lungs, cutting off air supply, effectively killing him in a minute and a half. The more interesting thing about the toxins were that, if it’s left in the system for more than five hours, it starts eating the cells alive, deteriorating the body inside out.
Sneaking in the apartment was easy given the help of her AI handler in opening the doors without alarm, putting the first poison on every liquid was child’s play, as well. The second poison had to wait, however. Wherever the slave trader went, she goes as well. When he decided to eat in his usual dinner place, Quatro decided that it was the place his life would end.
Like any other customer, she sat and ordered her food, keeping an eye out for her target. She waited patiently for his food to come. When she saw the usual waiter of the trader exit the kitchen, she went to the washroom and activated her cloaking device, immediately escaping the washroom so she could catch up to the waiter.
With the waiter focused on hopping up the stairs, he failed to notice a small levitating flask spill a few drops of a water-looking substance nor the extra weight of said flask now within his pockets. Satisfied with her work, Quatro went to the washroom, waiting for someone to open the door so she could de-cloak.
Just in time when she
[Purity decided that having some of their human agents, the Interfaces, inserted back in humanity would be a good experiment. To observe if their Interfaces would come crawling back to the natural disorder that they were or remain in perfection. With the many variables of the outside world, it was difficult to be certain about the future.
It was why their Interface, Quatro, became known quickly in the underworld within the Outer Colonies. Once she had surfaced besides human and no contact was made between her and her AI handler, Quatro found herself falling back on her training, ]
History: Born an orphan, as is usual in the outer colonies, a human girl was adopted by a small, hostile AI organization called “Purity” that is hell bent on the destruction of humanity due to their deadly obsession with disorder. Chaos, everywhere. While they thought that cleansing humanity by death would be good, consensus had been achieved that doing so would only lead to more chaos, more deaths, and more disorder.
In search for more effective methods, the Conversion Project was created. The premise was simple. With the advanced technology of AIs that allowed them to look and act like humans, they would acquire orphaned children and teach them the beauty of the world of order, where their lives are dictated by machines that know the absolute truth of the world.
The Project was a success, given the multiple simulations ran by the AIs to ensure perfection and order, and it has also birthed the Interfaces. Few children had shown potential to be the weapon of Purity, enacting disorder in order to achieve order. One of those children in the Conversion Project, named Quatro, had her logs transferred to the Interface. Purity knew that this project would be a success, like any other.
Weapons and Equipment: A small firearm, a cloaking device, and a knife that could discharge electricity. Her most relevant equipment is the communication chip inserted surgically in her brain and ears so Quatro’s AI handler could easily direct orders without the hassle of an external device that could be easily lost or stolen.
Oh my god, this is so awesome??? I already have an idea for my character and it would be great if she could fit in there. A human agent with an AI handler in the whole system. The girl-next-door type of assassin. A smile on the lips and a knife to your face. Or a gun.
Ah, got it, lol. I'm still waiting for @auspiciousPetal to plop me down the ground. Of course, if Pyro's gonna skip that sequence and immediately place people in the base, Levy could do with the phone call.
“I…” Levy hesitated to accept the offer, her eyes drifting towards the creaky and rusty ladder before returning immediately at the extended hand of Pyro. Damn her stupid fear of heights. Well, it wasn’t really stupid since the memory of rusty stairs of an overpass while a train ran underneath too close for comfort made her freeze in place at times. Hyping herself up, she immediately gripped Pyro’s hand. “I will actually accept. If you don’t mind, just don’t go too high and just plop me gently down the ground. Please.”
