Matt watched as a man who looked to be the land lord handed Daemon a box, and Daemon didn't seem too excited about it. Getting packages was always exciting, it was like getting a present. Matt couldn't help but peer over his shoulder when he opened it and noticed...a hand gun? And a picture of a guy?

Matt raised an eyebrow. “Uh...” He was extremely curious, but stopped himself and he decided not to ask.

Instead, Matt cleared his throat. “Well this sure has been an interesting day...” He trailed, then thought about training in the morning and their fun trip to the candy shop. And then there was Hadrian. He felt a little nervous and wondered what was going to happen when Hadrian would come over, but some part of him was interested. There was an interesting side to Daemon when he wasn't Lucid. He was glad his mentor wasn't hard to deal with or made his stay stressful, and he was realizing that this whole thing may not be as bad as he thought it would.
By the time Junko finally realized the game had indeed picked up the pace again, there was a blunt noise of the ball hitting someone. Junko looked around to see Reiko laying on the grass and the game came to an abrupt halt. Her mouth jarred open and didn't know what to do...but thankfully most students seemed concerned and one helped Reiko back up on her feet. She seemed to be doing alright. Where did the ball come from, anyway? Either way, she wasn't paying attention. Himeji blew her whistle and gym class finally came to a close. She let out a sigh and hoped the next gym lessons would be more rewarding.

Junko got herself changed and skipped to lunch. After lunch they had the day to themselves, so Junko planned to stop by the basketball court and shoot some hoops. But for now, eating was her first priority.

Apparently it was a back to school special today, so Junko tried to fit as much as she could on her plate without the lunch lady yelling at her. She sneaked an extra red bean bun, then ran off to to her classroom and eat at her desk.
When they sat on the bench, Carter absorbed what Asa was saying and didn't say anything. He didn't know how to respond, but what Asa said was true. After hearing his friend speak, he didn't think about it like that. It completed the bigger picture that made the mundanes so...different from them.

Asa rested his head on Carter's shoulders, much like he did when they were children and Carter would console him. "Family doesn't stop at blood for the Uisilons, but it seems like up here, with the Mundanes, it doesn't even start with family. And I can't handle that, can't live up here, knowing that."

Carter thought for a moment, then nodded. “To be honest...I feel exactly like that too.” He looked up at the sunny sky though his sunglasses and let Asa rest on him for a while. “Home is where the heart is, like that Mundane saying, I guess.” He smirked. When they finished their deep conversation, Carter felt like it was enough of philosophical talk, so he got up and stretched.

“Well I don't know about you, but I'm starving. As much as we babbled there about the mundanes, though...” Carter shuffled through his pockets and took out a little bit of Mundane money. “They do make some pretty damn good food.” He only had about 10 bucks to spend that he earned after bumping into an old lady paid that him to carry some of his groceries. If there was ever anything they needed to buy, it'd be food. Or at least, that was Carter's opinion. He just really liked food.

They walked to a nearby coffee shop that always had a pleasant aroma coming from it. Carter grew excited as they looked at the glass window with the baked goods. The cashier seemed to walk away just as they arrived, so they had some time to look at what they wanted to buy.
“Hey, look at these colorful glazed ring bread things.” He then stared at the label and raised an eyebrow questionably. “Oh. Doughnuts.” He mumbled and glanced at Asa. “You see anything that you like?”
When suddenly, a new student (who looked almost to be a foreigner, especially with the accent) came over to the field to introduce themselves, Junko's patience wore completely thin. She was grinding her teeth and looked back and forth, from the opposing team chatting it up and to her own practically dead team. “Jesus, will we EVER play the game?” She thought, almost feeling like she was going to scream at any moment.

She noticed Reiko seeming just as irritated as her, eager to play. This brought a little bit more hope to Junko. Reiko prepared to serve the ball, and it looked like things were finally getting started...

“YEAH, YEAH ALRIGHT--” But then the ball bounced on the another player's head, Tohru, the one who was trying to skip class earlier. The force knocked her down and then temporarily postponed the game. Junko looked directly up in the air and groaned.

She glanced back to her team, twitching an eyebrow. Junko sat down on the ground and sighed, not paying attention to whatever was going on. “Let me know when you guys are gonna start playing.”
Junko felt relieved that Haruka was joining their team. Her efforts didn't remain wasted. She also did feel a little excited that the older girl actually remembered her, considering that Junko didn't. She was bad with remembering people.

Junko walked around a little bit idly, impatient to see the game start. She heard many conversations and saw other people join both teams. She looked around and suddenly heard a whistle bring them all to silence. The gym teacher started scolding the students for talking. Junko was lucky she remained undetected with her bored attitude, because Himeji caught Reiko and started bagging on her about her shorts and not following the rules. Junko let out a chuckle when she noticed Reiko sticking her tongue out at the backside of Himeji.

"Kotone-san, I'm putting you in charge of a team. And...you." She points towards the injury faker, "Honada-san, you can run the other team, unless your ankle starts acting up again. But it won't. Will it?"

Junko groaned. This was a nuisance. Right after she got comfortable with how the teams were looking. The girl that Junko talked to earlier in the classroom was the team she'd be on. Junko sighed and shuffled over to her side of the net. At least she was tall, but it was way to early to think about defeat.

Junko cracked her neck and looked over in Kotone's teams direction. “So, you guys ready to rumble?”
now to choose what team to be on. @.@ decisions decisions...
Matt couldn't help but let out a laugh at Daemon and Hadrian joking around. “What a strange pair...” He chuckled, then patiently waited for the transaction to finish. He glanced around the shop idly.

"Only if I get to come over tonight. I wanna play with your friend some more."

Matt blinked, he didn't know whether to be afraid or maybe excited for some company. Maybe a little of both. After traveling and heading straight to the job, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to wind down a bit.

Daemon seemed to agree to it and kissed Hadrian on the forehead. Matt nervously looked the other direction. Soon Daemon turned to Matt with a bag of his jelly beans and immediately started eating them.

"W'n't s'm?"

Matt rolled his eyes. He reached for a couple hesitantly, and thankfully he didn't pick up any popcorn flavored ones. Popcorn jelly beans must be annihilated at all costs.

His glare towards Daemon turned into a friendly smile when he glanced back up at Hadrian. “Well then, we should be on our way.” He gradually moved closer to the door and waited for Daemon, whenever he decided to leave.

Yay! peeps talking to Haruka :D

d(^__^)Yeehah!!!

This is going to be one interesting game of volleyball...(in which Junko will probably take it TOO seriously)
The short waiting period in silence felt a bit like forever with Junko's impatience. The sound of the gym teacher's whistle relieved her restlessness.

"Any students who wish to run the track as well as partake in more overtly physical activities, stand over with Toshiya-sensei."

Junko thought for a moment, wondering weather to run track again or participate in the games. It was a hard decision. “Track is always a good exercise, but I don't know if I could run for a whole period. Or I could use my energy to participate in a competitive game? Damn, I need more time to think about this...”

Just as Junko was in a tough situation, she heard a voice call to her and she glanced back. It was Reiko, who, surprisingly, spoke up.

"Hey, Junko-san, let's be on the same team.”

Junko froze feeling a bit dumbfounded after wondering if she heard that right. Did Reiko seriously call her by her first name, yet she made it clear before they weren't close friends? “Double standard much? Or maybe a change of heart? Sheesh, I don't get her...” Junko uttered out a quick “Okay, sure”, and decided that she would pick volleyball today. She had only played it a few times, but she knew the basic setup of it.

She made her way to the nets with Reiko and the rest of her group, swaying restlessly. Glancing around at the other players on the team, she noticed a girl getting scolded for wanting to sit the game out, and almost at the same time, another student came walking towards the field asking if the teams were equal. The girl with the long ponytail had a certain kind of physique to her, something of an athlete but seemed more...militant? She seemed like a player the team needed.

“Ah, over here! Join our team!” Junko waved energetically.
