Avani nodded at Kasai’s suggestion, though it would probably end up being quite a bit more expensive if they were going to buy everything along the road when they needed it. It was a shame she couldn’t attach a second sidecar to her motorcycle, one on each side. Actually, maybe she could, but how would she do that, and where would she find someone to help her do it? She supposed she could start asking around once they entered the earth kingdom. There wouldn’t be enough time to find someone in Republic City considering when she wanted to leave. Besides, the few mechanics she’d known had been associated with the gang.

She was surprised that Kasai seemed to be less concerned with how she packed her clothes than she was herself. If they were folded carefully she could fit more into a bag. Avani didn’t say anything though, because then she might look like a proper woman or some housewife. She blushed when Kasai hugged her from behind, and enjoyed the feeling of her girlfriend’s bosom pressed against her back. Avani closed her eyes, wondered if Kasai would let her get back to packing before she was forced to turn around and give in to desire. The final squeeze almost made her do it, but then Kasai left to get them drinks. She sighed. Avani made sure to finish packing her clothes at least before Kasai returned. Thankfully, the phone rang and gave her some extra time. When Kasai returned she was sitting on the bed, trying to remember if she’d forgotten anything.

She grinned when Kasai set the shots on fire, and clapped her hands. “I didn’t know you knew how to do that.” She said and laughed. “Well, it’s cooler than anything I could do with my bending. People don’t tend to like earth in their drinks. Can’t say I blame them.”

Avani hesitated a bit before downing the flaming liquid, unsure of whether it would harm her, then stood up on feet that were beginning to get wobbly. “And as far as I’m concerned, some of the things you do with your mouth are better than cool. They’re too die for.” She whispered into Kasai’s ear, and kissed her on the cheek.

“Did you not bring the bottle with you?” Avani asked, after feeling her girlfriend’s body up thoroughly, as if she couldn’t tell at first glance that she didn’t have a bottle. “If you take off your shirt, and lay down on the bed I can show you one of my party tricks.” Avani pushed Kasai down onto the bed after she’d finished speaking, and left the room to get one of the bottles they’d bought. She came back with a bottle in her hand before long. ¨

“Perfect.” Avani said when she saw Kasai on the bed. She opened the bottle to pour some of its contents on Kasai’s stomach and in the middle of her chest, grinning as she did so. “Wait, shit.” She said after she’d finished and put the bottle away. “I think you’re supposed to use glasses for this too. Oh well, better clean up this mess I’ve made.” It was rather obvious she’d not done it by mistake, and it became even more so when she decided to take off her own shirt, revealing her black bra, then sit on Kasai’s legs. She could have offered her a towel after all. Avani bowed down and began to eagerly lick the liquid off of Kasai’s stomach, moving upwards.

Kunzite almost mocked Peridot because she had said she would call for help if she did not obey her commands. The thought of having to deal with any of the other gems stopped her from opening her mouth and speaking words she would come to regret. They would either destroy her or drag her out of the ship, whether she kicked and screamed wouldn’t bother them a bit. She did giggle at Peridot needing help, and did not bother to pretend that she was not doing it this time around.

“Courageous.” Kunzite managed to say right before the wall was lowered. A final act of rebellion. Something she’d done out of a compulsive desire to stand up to Peridot before she was forced to obey. She knew Peridot was too high-strung to issue any orders that might be fun to carry out. Kunzite dragged two of her fingers across her lips, a gesture to indicate that they were now sealed.

She was a bit surprised when she was told to follow her, rather than walk in front of with her hands above her head. Peridot did know she had four of them, right? It’d be twice as easy for her to pull some kind of stunt, especially when walking behind her. Kunzite wasn’t sure how to convey that to Peridot without talking or doing any sudden movements. It might startle the other gem if she made any odd gesture, so she simply stepped out of the cell and waited for her to move. Once she did, she followed her.

Peridot’s ship was very different from the one Kunzite had used to escape. It was large, empty and clinically clean. Kunzite’s had been more like a home, but this was a flying prison with no visible hints that Peridot owned it, no personal touch. Maybe she was into locking other gems up and depriving them of their freedom though.

When they neared the exit, Kunzite grew anxious. She really didn’t want to set foot on Homeworld again, and even though she knew what Peridot would do if she tried anything… Well, desperate gems tend to do stupid things. She walked closer to Peridot, feeling some hesitation regarding how to proceed.

“Sorry.” She finally whispered, then pushed Peridot and tried to take the destabilizer from her. She had the advantage of more arms, and tried to use it to constrain the gem and take the weapon at the same time.

@Raafling

Indeed, you shouldn't have. I don't know. I liked the RP when it was active. Let's assume we continue for now, even if you can't post for a while. I'll let you know if I change my mind and would rather move on.
Depends, what did you have in mind?
Kunzite had stopped trying to escape, for now, as getting out of the cell didn’t seem possible without outside help. She still blamed herself for getting captured by Peridot. At first it had been a fun game to play on the gem who had come to retrieve her. She had gradually begun to underestimate her, thinking she was a harmless and amusing distraction, but that had let Peridot get the drop on her. Now she was locked in a cell on a spaceship heading back to Homeworld, the last place she wanted to be. Well obviously, she had escaped after all.

The journey back had been dull and long so far. She was mostly left alone for extended periods of time, not allowed to explore the ship or anything. Alone with her thoughts she freaked out more than once, banging at the walls and shouting, but there was no reaction from Peridot whom she had thought would be watching her. It unsettled her further. What would they do to her when she had been brought back?

Her ears perked up when she heard approaching footsteps echoing through the corridor. Kunzite was excited just by the thought of someone to talk too at that point, even if she feared she knew why they were coming down. She smiled at Peridot when she stopped in front of her cell, but her fears were soon confirmed when she was told that they had arrived.

“You’re going to poof me if I do anything hostile?” Kunzite replied, and stood up. She ran two of her hands through her hair, while stretching the others. “Oh my, that sounds menacing.” She said with an insincere, playful tone. “I thought you knew me better than that though. How sad, after you spent all that time chasing me too.” Crossing her arms across her chest, she leaned against the wall. Peridot was the one who needed to get her out of the ship, but Kunzite was perfectly fine with staying put where she was. The gems waiting for her on the surface probably wanted to do something worse than poof her. “What if I do something kind or cuddly instead of hostile? What will you do then?”

Kunzite giggled and put a hand in front of her mouth as if she wanted to conceal it, but really, she wanted to provoke Peridot to anger. It would be easier to get away from her again if she wasn’t thinking clearly. “You’re so focused on me attacking you that you don’t think about all the other fun things I could do.”

I really like Knights of Sidonia and Psychopass too.

Other than those, I guess this would be my list.

Black Lagoon
Claymore
Ergo Proxy
Ghost in the Shell
Welcome to the N.H.K.
Usagi Drop
NANA
The Twelve Kingdoms
Steins;Gate
Legend of the Galactic Heroes

I love all of these in some way or another, but if I had to pick a favourite I'd probably go with Legend of the Galactic Heroes. Usually long animes tend to be utter crap, but Legend of the Galactic Heroes was brilliant. It felt more like HBO when they're at their best than a long anime. It's easily the best space opera I've ever watched.
