Ah that sounds really fun! You've got my interest. I think I'd like to do a stoat named Grendel.
It's fine, some stuff came up but I'm back.

If you all like the idea so much, I guess I'll have to come up with something
Go to this site.

Click on the 'Random Trope' Button.

Keep randomizing until you get a trope that describes a single character--not a group, situation, abstract concept, or otherwise. Like Non-Human Sidekick or The Man Behind the Man or Husky Russkie, rather than the Xanatos Gambit or Five-Man Band (you can use ROLES in the five man band tho) or What Is This Feeling?.

Build a character around that trope, keeping them true to its definition while making them dynamic and believable.

And that's pretty much as far as I got. I figured if this comes to fruition at all, it'd just be chill thing where the characters can live and breath and interact with each other, not a lot of action or anything. Characters would be flexible as far as species and origin, but I haven't thought about it a lot yet. Interested? Nah?
Wow, what a psycho. She was already laughing, and he hadn't even gotten the chance to do anything funny yet.

He reached up and tapped the side of Nilos' bicep, motioning with his head that they should leave before she pulled a knife or something. He'd met older kids like this before--the aggressive types? It never ended nicely. Their senses of humor put you in with a medic...or worse.

Dude? A paranormal investigation roleplay?? Sounds really cool???
Saghira waved Nilos off, gesturing that he didn't need help. As soon as the girl's weight wasn't over his own, Saghira rolled into a crouch, adjusted his scarf, and looked the offendor over.

Pretty hair and interesting valuables aside, she wasn't any better than him.

Maybe that's why when she told Nilos he looked like a wuss, Saghira unthinkingly told her,

"You look like a bitch."

Sorry for the delayed reply! I fell asleep early last night and had work today D:
"Um...I-I was wanting to find m-maybe a.....map for...travel...and...I would like...to see...what attractions this town have."

Saghira's grin stretched a little wider, watching Nilos--his elder and superior--anxiously stuttering about. Of all the people to be scared of talking to, this was very flattering!

Truth be told, he wasn't entirely sure he knew where that all was himself--he wasn't a native, despite appearances. But judging by his lighter skin tone and dress, Nilos probably wasn't used to the common market set-up of the region, while Saghira had been navigating these types of venues all his life. And being as jittery as his new friend was...Saghira was happy to help.

He opened his mouth to say so, but just got a mouthful of sand and a half-elf on top of him, being rather rude about the whole thing.
