@ZB1996 sounds about right - my only question would then be if Genseric is so heavily armored that lifting him would be impossible. I mean, realistically medieval armor wasn't super heavy but its definitely a burden.

@Brother Tumbo I was thinking it'd be best either if Keys stumbled upon Ellinor, or perhaps saw the skulking group head towards the palisade. Might be a way for him to join up with the crew?

[MEDIEVAL, REALISM] Marches of Man: Military company roleplay

An RP focused on medieval life in a military company. The Black Shields is a company called to life by the bastard king, Gregar Balin Grochain. The company was created after the destruction of two other military companies at the hand of the Cherwinian forces, whom banded together with brigands and outlaws to destroy the companies. The company has only existed since recently, and so recruitment had happened. Your character could be part of the fresh wave of recruits, and can be of any stance. Peasant, militia or even a northernling, a sawarim cutthroat or anything you wish within reason! Noblemen and peasants fight alike, but none are created equal, so beware.

What is offered.

• A realistic setting
• A very, very detailed world (perhaps too much)
• Versatile standards, anywhere from casual to advanced is welcome
• Just don't be Ezio from Assassins Creed... please

I've not GMed as much as I'd like and it's always hard for me - I'm not good at it by any means so driving people forwards is always a concern for me. If at anything anyone feels like they need something to do, just give me a remark. I'll always do my best to tie characters together and form a cohesive story but I have a hard time noticing when people feel left behind or when their characters are not as included as they'd want to be.

@Azaria Blue I have to say your post was more cohesive this time Definitely good quality actually. And I like that we have a character who isn't a warrior - this may be a war focused roleplay but a warband needs it's care given no? :)

@Azaria Blue You should .... do what you think is best. I mean, if you wanna do a 4-post-struggle with him that's fine. If you wanna stab him dead in 1 post that's fine. But keep in mind that I literally have no clue how excessive or how quick the whole palisade is gonna be - so you might be stuck doing nothing if you do it quick, so it'll get boring.

As for the inside of the encampment, I was thinking of some guys. Like I said ICly (or rather, Haesteinn said) they're brigands. You can know that OOCly, I guess. So it's not like they'll be armor clad panzersoldiers armed with MP40's or anything like that. They'll barely have leather armor, so we'll be able to win it easily.

They do outnumber us I imagine - I'd say they have about 7-9 people still in the camp (including the guard, who basically is a free kill). I think that's fair. Then Ellinor is also 'attacked' by a ruffian, probably some returning outlaw who happened to miss the rest of the people leaving, noticing only Ellinor. I'll leave his motives, attack and etc. all to @Azaria Blue to deal with.
