All I see in that chart is shame at posting so quickly.
I won't be able to get a sheet up until after work, but if I could just throw my character, slightly unoriginal as it may be, up here to reserve it that would be grand.
Basic concept: diehard spacenoid fanatic, totally believed the philosophy of Zeon Deikun, wanted humanity to escape gravity etc. probably not a newtype, but sees them as humanity's next evolutionary step. Didn't like Zabi nearly as much, but continued to fight for Zeon's original principles. Probably an above-average space mobile suit pilot, not as good at ground combat despite their deployment. Going to try and occupy that mechs trope slot of "yells 'inspirational' speeches about half-baked high-minded philosophy".
A Goog would be nice, but IIRC that might be a bit unlikely due to their production numbers.

I'll retroactively say the decision was made that way. Makes sense to me.
Oh I didn't expect the commanding officer of another military group to wear Grey Winds insignia. The bars are just for Winds, and since Myra is officially joining them for the time being, she would have gotten them if Lieutenants had any sort of insignia.

You know I didn't think about that. I doubt it, at least for a lieutenant. I'll say captains and above have some sort of signifier, though, which I'll come up with soon.
EDIT: We're going to go with something straightforward. One horizontal bar patch on the shoulder and chest signifies a captain, and with each additional patch [probably made of gold cloth] a higher rank is signified. Two for major, three for colonel, four for general. The patches are ~four times wider than they are tall, so this means Claes just has a big gold square on her chest and shoulder.
