One Month [Zombie Apocalypse RP]

Personality:Her personality is a bit different I suppose you could say she is a smart ass? Her personality is just different everyone..it all depends on how she thinks of you and or see's you as. But when it comes down to it she is usually nice. She likes to hide whatever she is feeling which she has found out is a problem but she just can't help but do it. She has her mind set she needs to survive and nothing is going to get in the way

Biography: Emma was born into a middle class family in Philadelphia. She had lived an okay life up until she was about 10 when her parent's got a divorce. Thus her family splitting which wasn't an entirely bad thing but wasn't a good thing. After that it was hazy. At the age of 18 she was sitting in her room at her fathers house when she was quickly told to get in the car with her brothers doing as she was told. She can remember driving off all of the family in the car and seeing death every where people eating each other and screams every where after a week of surviving together her parent's and step-brother were killed and she and her brother went to find her mother and step-father. After searching for weeks she found them dead but walking around as if they were alive. Trying to get her brother away from the dangers she fled with him to another state. While scavenging for food she could hear her brothers screams of pain echo and as she quickly ran to him she could see him there in pain a bite to the arm. She tried to keep him alive and human like for as long as she could but she couldn't very long..and she realized she had to kill him..it took her forever but when she did it she finally broke down it hit her she was alone everyone she loved was possibly dead. This included her friends and even her boyfriend all possibly dead. She was completely alone it was just her. Now it's a month after the outbreak and she has found herself still in Philadelphia.Still alone and still trying to get survive.
Motive:To find some way to stay alive as long as she can.

One Month

You are sitting in your home, everything is the same as usual, the coffee is brewing like it does every morning, you are cooking breakfast at the same time as you do everyday obviously with the television on in the background for the daily news. It is the very definition of your everyday mundane routine, but today something was different, instead of hearing the usual news broadcast something else comes on, and it immediately catches your attention. As you look over to the screen, at both the top and bottom of the screen there is red banners that are scrolling across the screen, with the word 'Emergency' flashing in and out in bright yellow bold text. Without a moment of hesitation you sit down and turn up the volume of the television, right away the newscaster brought about the bad news, with a bit of hesitation. It was said that a virus that the government had been working on to use as a bio weapon has infected many at a near by test sight, and that all citizens of the city should immediately evacuate the city as soon as possible. Nothing more was said, the newscaster wished everyone luck and then signed off. It was at this moment your life changed forever.

A month has passed since the day that emergency broadcast aired. At first you did not know what this virus was or what it could do, but within the month you soon learned things about it that you wish you never had. Seeing as it was an airborne virus it was already inside your system, and that it would lay dormant until the host died, at that point the virus would take over and bring the host back to life as a lifeless corpse, or more commonly known as a zombie. Not only that but if you are in anyway attacked by another zombie and they manage to draw blood from you, you will turn in a matter of two hours. It was a hopeless situation, there was no escaping it and there was no news of a cure. It was pure luck that you had managed to survive for the past month but who knows how much longer that luck would last. It is matter of time before you die of hunger, another survivor or a zombie.

Rules of the Forum

4. If you know that you will be going inactive for more than 3 days please do give everyone a heads up as it really sucks to be stuck.
5. This RP is open to suggestions, so if you have one come and talk to the GM or Co-GM.
6. THis one is an obvious one but don't god-mod, power play, or whatever. No one likes it.
7. This is a mature RP, but that does not mean you can just go around posting the intimate love your character makes to another, you can go to PMs for that or 'fade to black' whatever you prefer. Also no traumatizing the others with excessively descriptive gore. That does not mean it is not allowed just keep it to a minimum.
8. Last but not least do respect the words of the GM and Co-GM

Rules of the RP
1. This is NOT a fantasy RP so there will be no magic, supernatural happenings, or superhuman abilities of the sort, luck is not included though, as everyone gets lucky every now and again.
2. If it cannot be built by human engineering then it is not allowed.
3. Each survivor has to be realistic in a sense so do not stock your character with every ability imaginable.
4. Following the above rule survivors should have some flaws as literally everyone has flaws in some way.
5. Death is inevitable do not expect to live forever. This includes any form of death.

Zombie??

Essentially it will be slow paced but with action. As far as we know the city is dead and you can all come from different and or other states Keep in mind though we are in Philadelphia the origin of the virus and or disease. So while some states are infected some aren't yes this is a FAST spreading Disease but not fast enough to go all the way from Philadelphia to California although it is close. Really close in a matter of weeks the whole US will be covered.
Id like to get to know every character ALL of them. Why you are here. Who Are you. etc.
