Eternal Dreamer — Roleplayer Guild

The Grand Celestial Ball! An entire month of festivities to celebrate another prosperous year for the twelve kingdoms that govern the land of Esthernal! Nights filled with wondrous performances from the imperial circus, the famous sword dancers accompanied by the sword swallowers, the death defying acts of the knife throwers and the archers, the magicians and magic users who cast bursting lights high into the night sky, and the many merchants that line the imperial head kingdoms streets, everything one could desire for not only the royals but the citizens of the imperial city. But in this glorious month-long celebration a shadow lurks in every corner, death striking at the glorious masquerade. Someone has been poisoned but the festivities must continue for the kingdom's luck to continue. A dangerous dance between life and death, the gripping terror of shadows lurking around every corner. Can you make it out alive? Or will the poison consume you too? Can you escape the Masquerade?

For this concept I have multiple different pairings that could be worked into this plot! Below will be the pairings I have thought of and the plot lines that come with them, though collaboration for ideas and plot lines is welcome and appreciated! 

For this pairing we shall be focusing on two royal heirs meeting for the first time after their kingdoms decide that they are to be wed, establishing a bond between them not only on paper but also in blood. The two find themselves forced together every chance their parents get, practically joined at the hip by the end of the first day despite their protests. The night of the poisoning though it’s made clear that someone is after one of the duo though the reason behind it is unclear. Event after event ends in a close call, someone nearby always dying in their place. Despite the two families pushing for the end of the marriage the two decide that splitting up would be letting the culprit win. So our royal heirs continue to remain in the arranged marriage, deciding to give it their all to make it seem like they are madly in love. Though perhaps… a spark of romance lurks within such acts? With danger fueling the fires of love can the two stay committed to their hatred of marriage whilst searching for the culprit or will the lines become ever blurred between their truest inner desires?

For this pairing we shall be focusing on a forbidden love that develops between a princess and her guard. Though this pairing can work with a fresh faced guard I am hoping for a bit of an age gap between the two. The guard has just been assigned to our princess, expecting nothing to happen at the masquerade that ends each and every night of the month. But when a noble is poisoned it’s clear that there is no rhyme or reason to their actions besides ensuring chaos reigns supreme. With the killer on the loose, our princess, innocent as a blooming blossom after being safeguarded for so long, insists on staying by the side of her guard… even in his chambers at night. Just what is he to do? An unlikely bond forms between the two but as death nears closer to the princess feelings begin to develop that are anything but wholesome. Can the two suppress the bloomings of love or will they fall deeper into a romance that will change their lives forever?

Hey there! The names Eternal Dreamer but you can call me Dreamy for short! I found this site through a friend and thought perhaps it was time that I bring my writing into a group setting! I may not have much experience in role playing but I've been writing for nearly a decade at this point! 

My main writing genre is most definitely fantasy with romance within it but certainly has branched off into many different genres before! I just love me a good medieval love story! ^_^
