Name:
Midori Shiba

Age:
18

Gender:
Female

Appearance:
Midori has pitch black hair, flowing from her scalp down to her lower back. She sports some bangs that ends in a "WW" design just before her eyelids. Her eye color is a sharp blood red, and she towers over most people with a height of 6 feet. She has a slender body figure, and her skin is of a light peach hue. For clothing, Midori simply wears a black halterneck and Daisy Duke short jeans. When using her powers, her red eyes glow.

Personality:
Midori is a vicious and cunning shifter that can stand up for herself if the need arises. Her personality was shaped by all that has happened in her earlier life. There simply wasn't enough 'good' in her early life to turn her into an enthusiastic girl that skips around while humming songs. One should consider themself fortunate to make friends with such a woman. But once a person makes that friendship work, Midori can place her trust within said person. She will probably prefer women as friends over males. She has little to no interest in dating.

History:
Midori Shiba was born 18 years and 3 to 4 months ago, to a married couple that farms. She was incarnated into the rough life, residing in a rather small and crammed house, placed somewhere in the southern Iwate Prefecture. At her toddler stage, when she would learn how to walk, run, and all the other basic necessities of daily life, Midori would spend a large part of her free time running and playing in the fields of her family's farm. She adored the tall grass, and all the bean and pea plants scattered across the whole area. Midori made special bonds with not only the humans around her, but with nature's animals. She would treat the pigs and cattle like family pets, and cared deeply for them (until they were taken to the butcher, of course). She was an only child, but that didn't matter. Her parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins all loved her, and Midori loved them all back.

It wasn't until Midori started school that things went downhill. She did not-so-well in school, despite giving her best efforts. She became saddened due to her failure in school, and with that came depression. Her parents bought Midori a puppy, born not too long before then. Midori quickly developed a great friendship with the dog, and did many things with it, as two best friends would. 5 years passed, and Midori was 11 years old. She still did poor in school, but just barely to pass each grade. It wasn't until 6th grade that she was bullied. The bullies were vicious and disgusting, and Midori tried her best to steer clear of them. It was an ineffective tactic.

Her mother's health declined rapidly. She was barely breathing within 2 months. Midori's mother contracted a new sort of disease that penetrates within the immune system, transforming common colds into life-threatening diseases. After her disease came to a climax, her father drove the family to the nearest hospital, a rather long 60 kilometer drive to the largest nearby town. Her mother died mere hours after their arrival to the hospital. The family returned to the farm, with one extra seat in the car.

Everything happened right after each other. Her father was the next to go. His arm got trapped in some sort of high-tech machinery he never worked before on the farm, and passed away during the amputation. Midori Shiba, at 12 years of age, was scarred and orphaned. All she had left was the dog. But not for very long.

With no aunts or uncles close by to go to, she had no other option but to be sent to an orphanage. It was a horrible experience that she came to regret. Midori was bullied there, as much as she was bullied at her school a year or so ago. The orphanage was kind enough to allow the girl to keep the dog as a pet, so long as she takes care of it. The adults there would purchase all the necessities and what not for the dog, named Potato, but it would be Midori who would know what to do with the supplies.

One miserable day, while it was raining, Potato ran away. He was not wearing his leash at the time. Potato's whereabouts are unknown, let alone whether or not he is still alive. This deprived Midori of her life-long friend. It was the turning point for her discovery of her powers.

The bullying came to a head not long after. The group of boys surrounded Midori. They yelled random names at her, many that she did not like at all. She was being pushed around by the group. Midori then tumbled and tripped, and collapsed onto the ground. She attempted a desperate escape through crawling, but it proved ineffective. The boys proceeded to kick her, and abuse her physically. She would yell, "Stop! Please!" It would be just as ineffective as the escape maneuver she attempted just minutes before. One boy, considered the "ringleader" of the group, grabbed onto her neck, and forced her on the wall into a corner. He repeatedly kicked her. Over. And over. Again.

She was rendered unconscious by a blow to the head. But during this time, in her mind, something formed. Something commanded her, and took control of Midori. Midori came to consciousness, witnessing the boys all surrounding her once again. Her limbs were tied and her mouth was covered in tape. But she was calm. Midori did not display any symptom of fear or inferiority. As the boys prepared to abuse her once more, she retaliated. The ropes untied, and the tape was ripped off. The bullies were staring at her, in a display of fear and that I-should-run-away-now motion. She levitated all of them, one by one, before forcing them onto a wall, and killing them in order with a knife, wielded by her telekinetic powers, not her own hands. Their throats were slit. The ringleader was Midori's final victim, before he too was punctured thirty times in the chest as an act of revenge by Midori. Knowing that she is a murderer, she ran. She fled. Midori abandoned the orphanage, and simply kept moving. She did not stop. Midori was a murderer on the loose, somewhere in the countryside of Japan.

6 years have come and gone. Midori was far from Japan. She made her way to Tokyo, where she sneaked onto a cargo ship bound for America with relative ease. It wasn't until she went through the 11 day journey across the Pacific that she got into trouble. While attempting to sneak off the ship in Seattle, she was spotted and exposed by law enforcement. They shot at her, but the bullets merely froze in mid air. She rotated the bullets 180 degrees, and propelled them towards the shooters. They collapsed to the ground after 10 seconds. The incident made its way to national news, where a murderer was on the loose somewhere in the Seattle-Tacoma metro area. She ran, just like she did in Iwate. To this day, she has not been discovered, and hopefully, will not be exposed anytime soon. Midori is a nomad, traversing the United States, looking for nothing in particular.

Power:
Telekinesis

Strengths:
When faced with non shifters in battle, they are no match.
If shot at, she can prevent bullets from injuring her.
Midori can even turn them back to the shooters.
With enough force, she can tear limbs off of people.

Weaknesses:
When faced with other wielders of telekinetic, she is equal in power to the other people.
Midori can only levitate a limited weight. IE she is able to lift a tractor trailer, but not an A380.
She can only lift objects from so far. IE she can lift an object maybe a 100 feet away, but not 100 miles away.
The object she intends to lift has to be in her line of sight.

Well it could've been worse: there could've been 260 posts.

I'll start working on my CS now.

I scrapped the idea for twins in order to be original (your welcome Jay).

I will also make twins with opposite powers. Sort of like fire and ice.

I want to reserve a spot. I need to go sleep and do stuff and I can't work on the CS until tomorrow (I'm in EDT time)

Please try not to go from 14 posts to 140.
I hope it's not too late for me to join. Can I please reserve a spot and make a NS soon? I'll start working on it ASAP.
