Let's mash up Supernatural Academy with Crime Solving?

Many apologies as I'm doing this from my mobile so be cautioned: there may be spelling errors and/or auto correct errors.
Okay, so my insomnia-induced brain that normally helps me write my eerier music, instead had the idea of a roleplay. So I was thinking of doing a thing where we'd have this school, set in either modern day London or New York, that houses and educates students with "abnormal potential and capabilities." This school, of course, would be large, high tech, and accepting only the best of the best (or the ones with boat loads of cash)
However! Plots and twists incoming! The general basis that I've been thinking of is: you have your student (aged anywhere from 15-18) with a power chosen from a handy Wikipedia list of super hero powers that I will link when I have the capability to do so. And you have your crime: the headmistress of the school is taking students in one by one (seemingly random students) and performing tests on them to alter their genetics and make them into something no normal human should be. Your goal: balance your schooling, training, and also save the academy and potentially the world at the same time.
If interest pops up, I will more than happily post more OOC/IC information, as well as character sheets with samples!

Character Name: Abbey Everlight
Character Starting Age: 18

Appearance:

Personality: Abbey is often called a "know-it-all" by the other members of her community. She has a habit of acting as if she is fully knowledged about topics she truly knows nothing about, something that often gets her into a lot of trouble. Her father taught her all that he could about leadership before his passing, leaving Abbey alone with her aging mother and their small group. Because of this, she seeks to make a name for herself in the world of Ernestia, and help her clan make itself known for something that she can be proud of.

Hometown: A small, humble group, no more than twenty five people could be found here, including Abbey and her mother. The Everlight Clan does not show gender divides: everyone is treated equally and has the same expectancies. Children are expected to be able to raise themselves after 13, whether they can or cannot take care of themselves on their own is a sign of their viability to the clan. If they cannot, then they are "taken care of" with or without the family's approval.

Best and Most used Skill: Abbey is very good at negotiation and diplomacy, being the heiress of her small clan.

Name: Cara (pronounced Kay-ruh) Heartright
Age: 21
Gender: Female

Personality: Cara is a very adaptable person. She has a high intelligence which can cause others to see her as a bit of a narcissist. She does her best to think things out multiple steps in advance, always trying her best to make sure she comes out on top of everyone else. Additionally, Cara also has a problem with Burden of Proof where she has a tendency to speak very highly of herself without actually supporting it or checking to make sure it's even true. Cara loves people and talking to others, making her a sociable person.
Reason for being invited: Up-and-coming film star with a few indie songs released.
Bio: Cara didn't grow up in the most loving family. She came from two deadbeats who "raised" her until she was 12 and taken out of her home by Child Protective Services to be raised by multiple foster families. Having grown up bouncing around families and homes, she had to defend herself somehow, and that was with her intelligence. Although she does normally enjoy talking to people, with the way she grew up, she always made sure to make herself seem better than whoever it was she spoke to. It wasn't until she turned 18 that she got herself emancipated from the system and went to live on her own and get herself a contract in the film industry.
Other: Cara's personality is supposed to clash a bit, as is supported by her past.

So there's my character. Let me know if I need to touch her up. My descriptions on Cara are a bit short, I will admit, and I can expand if needed. :3
Also, a suggestion! Google Drive has a plugin for something called "Floorplanner" that you might be able to use to make the map of the mansion.

Zombie apocalyspe survival rp, taking place on an English countryside farm

I'm not the biggest zombie fanatic around, but this actually looks really interesting. And combined with my recent interest (read: obsession) with Doctor Who, Sherlock, and The IT Crowd have made me overly in love with England. I think I could put in a character or two into this. :3

As the young leader of a nomad tribe, a simple farmer or even an outcast, how you start will have a massive impact on how NPCs react to your character!

Now, as I said you will make a small communauty, that it may be a tribe, a small clan or even a village, all that import is that ti is small and that it is home. That place or community will be the most affected by your early action, so choose and create wisely!

Well, since you brought it up, I do have a question or two here. :P
Okay, so since you mentioned in these points about being an up-and-coming and starting humble, but then you mentioned possibly being the leader of a small clan? Does this mean that my clan would be pretty unknown to the rest of the populace, should I choose to start one? Or is this what I will grow into?
