The link list will be here as I add new characters from other sites and/or make specific ones for this forum. Overall I'm pretty laid back and willing to Rp with just about anyone. I'm a para to multi-para player that enjoys participating in story based role play and fights. Included are links so scrolling isn't required. Next to each link is the tier each character fits best in.
The peculiar interaction between his energy and the material that the sheath for her sword was made of was the first thing that he noticed, considering how ti responded it turned out well for him in the end. The spiritual energy that he had used to issue the attack wasn't dissipated since it was repelled, meaning that when it shot out to try and pierce her it was sent back to where it was from. This put the energy back into the physical form of his weapon where it was once more locked in place, so that turned out for the best if he were to have an opinion on the matter. It transpired as he had started to maneuver her arm since she was holding onto the sheath while he stepped to his right, aiming to circle around to Uzuki's left and out of the line of fire. She released the sheath before she was thrown off of balance too far but that didn't mean he was going to give the sheath back, at least right away. The erratic shots that were fired were avoided by his continuous circling, now balancing the sheath of Uzuki's sword within two of the prongs of his spear. At about the same time a geyser of flame erupted from the ground and struck toward the tree tops.
Sky immediately sought to take advantage of this, using Uzuki's sheath to do so. Before the fire died down, which more than likely would take place either shortly before or during the exchange between Uzuki and the squirrel, Sky applied considerably power with a swing of his spear in a wide arc, launching the Saya like a missile at the blade of the fire spewing sword. Since he was on the opposite side of the fire geyser from Uzuki when the sheath to her own sword would hit the sword itself, despite its deep anchor into the ground, the sword would tilt in her direction which hopefully started spewing flame either right above her or practically on top of her. He considered from what he saw of the length of the hilt and the width of the tsuba how much pressure would be needed to knock it over, uprooting the soil that would have normally held it in place. More than likely she wouldn't have the time to speak, but if she continued to do so after she dealt with the redirected fire attack there wouldn't be a single response from him. Meanwhile he backed up quickly from the growing heat and positioned himself next to a tree.
With a swing from his spear the tree was severed from its stump roughly a foot off of the ground. By the time the fire geyser had ceased he spun and smacked the tree, now essentially sitting on its severed stump without a tether to the ground, with the flat side of his spear head. It took effort but that tree, burning canopy and all, would be sent sailing toward Uzuki. He was sure that, although an annoyance, she'd be fine dealing with something that was her own attack. So he needed to follow it up with something. The tree, slightly over 100 feet high with an appropriate thickness of trunk, would impact severed trunk first on the ground not too far away from her and then fall the rest of the way like a tree normally did, aiming to slam down on her from above with branches spread all around which would interfere with attempt to avoid if she chose that route and was too slow about it. Meanwhile Sky watched, maintained his stance and position next to the newly made stump, and funneled more energy into his spear.
In any combat situation he knew that things rarely worked out how one wanted them too. One of the key aspects to being a good fighter was learning how to adapt to the situation as it unfolded. With this in mind he didn't know what Uzuki was going to do but he knew that she wasn't simply going to run herself onto the end of his spear, that's not something that a normal person would do. The fact that she considered such a thing was lost on him and showed him how wrong he actually was about his opponent. But the method that Uzuki chose to use to deal with the spear worked more to Sky's benefit than to her own and that was for two different reasons. For one Sky was a master at manipulating his energy and using it from various sources, like his body and his weapon, in a much similar way to Uzuki. The other is that his spear wasn't a normal spear, it had the blades on the sides that flanked the weapon and made it look more like a trident. The first that happened occurred when the spear itself collided with the black Saya that she used to protect herself. The energy within the spear struck out, passing through physical obstacles much like a ghost would.
At the close proximity and the fact that she had ran with full momentum into his spear avoiding it may be tricky. But the goal was for the spectral image of his spear to pierce straight through into her body and pass right through, doing damage along the way. He had been told that he couldn't kill a fellow SRI, nor would he want too. So he aimed to damage and weaken the spirit/soul of his opponent and force her to experience fatigue and exhaustion as her spirit took the damage. The equivalent would have been taking a physical spear straight through the chest. The pain would be associated with the strike, she just wouldn't take any physical damage. If she had tried to continue with closing the distance by using her Saya as a barrier between his spear and herself she'd find that her action would be stopped with a simple turn of the shaft. Whether she tried to slide down the inside of the spear or the outside of it one of the two flanking smaller, curved, points would catch her Saya and prevent it from going any further. It'd be like trying to pass a butter knife through the prongs of a fork, physical objects didn't move through physical objects. At least without tremendous effort.
Should things play out to this point she'd find drawing the gun might be harder than she originally planned. Since her own motions would lock her within the prongs of his spear he'd have sufficient leverage to put against her as she started to draw. He'd angle his spear down and to his left while stepping to his right. This served two purposes. Her left arm and Saya would be angled down toward the weapon she was drawing, trying to put the limb between himself and the weapons barrel or serve to interrupt the draw by pushing the left arm into the right as it tried to pull the weapon free of its holster. Stepping to his right also circled him out of the line of sight of the weapons barrel just in case she was able to still draw and fire. This put his circling out and around to her left, with the spear still between himself and her it'd make it more of a hindrance for her to turn fully and follow him with her weapon. This hopefully keeping him clear of the line of fire, which caused her rounds to destroy the trunks of trees some distance behind him.
It was the sound she made after she had been nicked by the branch she had been passing that first caught Sky's attention. He adjusted his path and made sure that he was generally heading in Uzuki's direction. The closer he got the more he heard the music that was coming out of her headphones, it was a noisy racket that he didn't much appreciate. Sky was more of a strings instrument kind of guy, acoustic guitar would be more his thing rather than the metal that she listened too. Regardless though he'd eventually stop when the other started to almost yell at him. He couldn't help but look down at himself. He was dressed more like something out of Aladdin at the moment. A simple synthetic silk vest with baggy pants and leather thong sandals. His head snapped back up to attention when she so suddenly decided to get right to the action. His right foot slid to the rear as his spear was simultaneously lowered from his shoulder, the left hand reach out to catch it so that the back of his hand was facing the ground.
His knees bent, putting him in a low stance, his left hand gripping upon the first 1/3 of the shaft of his spear while the right hand gripped the last 1/3. Her dash across the distance told Sky a lot about her. She seemed impatient and hyper active, wanting to start things off quickly. She used a sword and seemed to be skilled in the art of drawing, simply from the stance she was taking and the fact that she didn't have her sword out already. The glowing rune on the back of her hand told him that magic was on the way. His own reserves were tapped into and pulled forth, funneling his spiritual energy into his spear so that it'd become infused and glow with a slight white luminescence. The point of the spear would lower toward the ground and as she approached it'd suddenly swipe from low to high with a slight motion forward. If she didn't draw her sword to counter act the blow she ran the risk of running herself onto his spear, but the overall intention was to run the tip of the spear from low to high and attempt a small cut along the front of her torso or whatever he could hit.
The sun was high in the sky over a forest that seemed to be populated with thin, tall, trees that were spaced quite a distance away from each other with canopies reaching 100 feet or more above the forest floor. The name of the forest itself had been long since lost and even though paths through the trees remained they weren't always the easiest to see. It was a nice 70 degrees and the sky was clear, no sight of rain in the near or distant future. Between the trees, off the beaten path, one would see low growing shrubs and fallen timber of trees which had reached a point in their life that their trunks could no longer support them. Birds could be seen, in wide varieties, fluttering around from branch to branch. Multiple chirps filled the air as they all seemed to echo softly between the trees, perfect but natural acoustics made clear to any who had been passing through. The birds seemed to be in contest with the squirrels over who was going to get various nuts growing on the trees, each side racing to get more than the other. Other than squirrels and birds no other animal life seemed to exist and there was a distinct lack of flowers.
"It seems my next opponent is a contractor of ShinRa. What are the rules of engagement?" He asked to Enki on the other line, his left index finger placed against the area behind his hear. "Understood. Will report back after the fight." His left arm lowered and his right hand shifted the spear propped upon his shoulder a bit. The head of it rested almost behind his head, fighting without killing or maiming was going to be hard if he wanted to continue to use the weapon.
The one he had been told he was going to be meeting in this forest he did not know much about. From what he had gathered between his last bout and this one was that ShinRa had contracted somebody, but that was where his information ended. Apparently they liked to play things fast and loose in whatever realm he was in now. He didn't care, in the long run, he'd learn more about her from Enki later on regardless of the outcome. Those sapphire hues watched his surroundings as he traveled down one of the beaten paths, if one could call the remains of such a thing by that name. He took a moment of pleasure in the wild life around him, both flora and fauna. A place like this reminded him of his home, the forests that he use to roam and the people that lived there. It seemed like such a long time ago. Regardless of the nostalgia business was never far from his mind and as he reminisced he continued to survey the area, looking in between trees and up into the canopies.
ShinRa Employee File SREN: J3-G2K0-B7Z5 Birth Name: Sicanyee Danoonkarõ (Romanized) Code Name: Sky Dancer Race: Fairy, Fáwahnoon Height: 5'8 Weight: 185 lbs. Age: 75 Date of Birth: Unknown Town of Birth: Rõvunhoh Current Assignment: Melee Specialist, Shin-Ra Knights Experimental Division. Pay Grade: JE, Grade 5
Physical Description: Subject J3-G2K0-B7Z5, designation Sky, has an abnormal physical composition when compared to the humans who inhabit Neo Midgard. Simply put you can take everything about a normal human body and make it better in every way in order to achieve the same results. Sky has denser bones, stronger muscles, reinforced tissue, and a quicker mind. All of this appears natural to his race. After we subjected him to Mako treatment all of these qualities became reinforced while he showed extreme resiliency to the poisoning effect. Subject Sky has tan skin with soft, angled, features and a slender form. His hair is the color gold and curly while his eyes take on the color of sapphires. From his head sprout two miniature antlers, like you'd see on a buck, but each one has three points. From what he tells us his people grow new points every 25 years. The antlers themselves are roughly six inches long from the base of the forehead to the point and grow at an upward angle while they aren't even half an inch in diameter. Further testing showed that these small horns are as hard as diamond at stop on level with the top of the head.
Subject Sky seems to be in the early adult stage of his life, physically speaking, despite the fact he is so old.
Despite the regulation uniform he was given the Subject refuses to wear it unless absolutely necessary. He prefers light clothing, anything resembling linen or silk, under the reasoning that anything else feels too rough on his sense of touch. To this effect he wears a loose fitting pair of synthetic silk pants of a black color, a matching vest and what most would call thatch sandles upon his feet. He also carries around a six foot long spear. The shaft of said weapon is blue with a brown leather wrapping starting at the center of the shaft which goes down to the metal butt. The head of the spear is six inches long with a soft taper near the end of the shaft and is flanked by two curved points. Even though we've tried to call it a trident he has refuted and corrected us every time. The metal, harder than steel, is the color of bronze while the wooden shaft has a hardness equal to titanium.

Psychological Evaluation: Subject Sky shows an amazing resilience to the mind altering effects of the Mako exposure, whether the trait is genetic or trained remains a mystery. He tends to stay silent in most situations and doesn't speak unless spoken too directly. He's a very driven individual with a strong sense of duty. This, seemingly, self imposed sense of honor could lead to future impairment since he takes any request and seeks to fulfill it. He seems to suffer from a sort of social ineptitude despite not lacking any social graces. He's very headstrong and stubborn with a brilliant mind. He seems to have an odd trait that borders on Obsessive Compulsive Disorder in regards to clashing colors when it comes to design. Sky is also slow to anger, showing resilience to stimulus that would make normal people lash out. All of our tests are conclusive on the fact that he's a well maintained and put together individual.
As a side note Sky seems to have taken a liking to string instruments of all kinds and sounds associated with string instruments.

Pre-Employment History: Subject Sky Dancer was originally from an unnamed realm that we later designated as F4-2693-G4H1, or F-H1. Sky called it Mohvunhohrõ. The realm itself is a vibrant world rich in resources. Of the two races found there Sky is from, what we've come to call, the Fairy Folk or Fae Folk. We first stumbled upon this realm and it's people at the beginning of our trials to find new realms. Sky was young at the time and the realm was under siege from an invading force. Neo Shinra and the KNIGHT project moved in and stopped the invasion, saving the village in which Sky was born in in the process. His parents were both warriors of their people, noble and honorable in equal measure. From what we were told he was raised to repay the debt they felt they owed us and when a local war was over he was sent to us for participation in the KNIGHT project. Further Information is Classified under article 6, subsection 3.
Employment Records: In order to see in what manner we should employ Subject J3-G2K0-B7Z5 went sent him on a variety of low tier, yet challenging, missions upon his arrival after his initial evaluation. The first was an escort mission that he was to do alone. Due to some faulty intelligence the subject was up against stronger odds than what were originally anticipated. Despite doing his best he lost the crew that was escorting the cargo. Despite this set back he fought on and got the package safely to its destination, when most others would have fallen back or died. The second mission that he was given was an assassination mission. The target was a rebel leader deep within a mountain range. Using the skills that he had and the spear that he wields he managed to track down the rebel leader, bypass the soldiers in the camp, and remove the target. His third mission was to be bodyguard to a budding engineer who was heading to a different realm to install some equipment. When problems arose with the local the subject showed decent negotiating skills, allowing the engineer to complete the mission and get out safely.
The only mission that he failed was a mission specifically tailored for data specialists and hackers. Due to his up bringing he lacked the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve the information.
Subject J3-G2K0-B7Z5, designation sky, was one of the few non-human participants we had that went through the KNIGHT program and survived. He is a curious case that blends otherworldly talent and ability with ShinRa technology, intelligence and reinforcement. He's been designed and trained to be a front line soldier, defacto leader when superiors are not present, and executioner should the necessity arise. He has shown exceptional and otherworldly abilities which will be listed below.
SOLDIER Training: Upon his inclusion into the KNIGHT program Sky has been given all the required training in order to be inducted into the ranks of KNIGHT. He has picked up on the various skills and techniques rather quickly and has been able to employ them in an exceptional manner. His races teachings coupled with the SOLDIER training have shaped him into a capable KNIGHT operative.
Longevity: Skys people seem to possess some type of extended life span, they simply aren't effected by time like humans are. The oldest living members of his people are said to be hundreds of years old although there are no accounts of anyone his kind living beyond a thousand years. They are not immortal, they eventually grow old and die. A very interesting trait that we may be able to harness from him should the opportunity arise.
Energy Usage: One of Sky's more unique traits is the ability to generate and manipulate his spiritual energy in a variety of ways. He has demonstrated the use of it in offensive and defensive applications. This energy seems to have uses as a utility skill as well, providing him with a wide array of methods to deal with different situations. Whenever he summons it we find that it has a white coloration and glows with a radiant hue. Its destructive capability in on par with some of our most dangerous equipment.
Offensive examples: Hardening spiritual energy into various forms. Use his energy in the form of blasts and waves. Infusing it into his weapon in order to increase its lethality. etc. Defensive examples: Reinforcing his body to increase durability. Infuse his body with spiritual energy to make it resistant to spiritual attack and influence. Infuse the energy into his weapons and armor to increase durability and resistance. Generate semi-physical shields. etc. Utility examples: Create a light source. Spiritual marking for tracking purposes. Healing (outside of combat unless given ample opportunity). Displacement within his surroundings to assist in sensory functions. etc.
Mako Infusion: Perhaps more than other candidates Sky shows great improvement through the use of Mako. Despite being dosed with it in drastic amounts his body seems to resist the poisoning effect while his mind shows no signs of disruption. Due to this we have been able to give him a much stronger dose than normal. This amplified his already considerable physical abilities and caused him effectiveness to skyrocket when it came to field assignments. He can lift many times his own weight, move in a blur without assistance and withstand punishment that'd render most dead.
Resistance: The subject shows a hardy resistance to invading toxins, pathogens and forces of all kinds. Whether it is an act of his body fighting off whatever malady seems to be effecting him or his spirit and will staving off mental disorders there is no denying that Sky is a hardy individual. We have yet to test how far this goes due to the fact we don't want to tax him too much and lose such a great asset.
Heightened Senses: A trait that his kind seem to possess from birth. All of his physical and non-physical senses are heightened to the point that they are five times better than that of a human, which seems to be unaffected by the Mako enhancement. It puts his senses on par with that of a cat which allows him to define specific smells in an odor, hear on multiple frequency levels and in far off distances and accomplish a great many other things. He also shows incredibly sensory processing ability, which allows him incredible reaction time and prevents him from being overwhelmed by his heightened senses.
Spacial Awareness: Through the use of his heightened physical senses, his spiritual ability and an apparent heightened state of thinking Sky has shown a remarkable awareness to his surroundings. Upon testing he has shown the ability to detect and locate inanimate objects while blindfolded and even react to unseen and cloaked threats when attacked. We have yet to find the range limit of his perceptions but following the theme with his senses he suspect he can perceive five times further than a human in all directions.
Magical Ability: As is apparently common with his people he shows some aptitude with what he calls magic. Without the use of materia he can conjure up effects similar to what we would use technology and Mako to achieve. It seems that his spiritual energy acts as a medium for which spells are cast, instead of what we would commonly refer to as Mana. Most of this ability seems to go into maintaining an extra-dimensional space where he can store and summon armor from.
Much like you'd see from a spellcaster. Think. Wizard or Sorcerer from D&D. Due to the fact that a majority of his magical ability is going into sustaining an extra-dimensional space transmutative, elemental, evocative, and other such spells from various magical schools are in a lower tier.
Zephyr Materia: This is probably one of the most curious developments that we've had since his arrival. Sky, or rather his energy, has shown the ability to convert other materia into a new type of materia. Sky calls it Zephyr materia and it seems to have a pale green coloration. When used it seems the materia grants Sky incredible speed. What's more this speed seems to allow Sky to operate outside the laws of physics. He experiences no momentum change, no friction, g-force or anything associated with increased speed. This new materia seems to only be usable by Sky. When a Zephyr materia is put in the hands of someone else it reverts to its original, unaltered, state. (3 Post duration. 2 Post cooldown)
Limit Break: This would have to be the second most curious oddity that we've found in our trials with Sky. The Limit Break is a powerful, limited use, ability that is built up within the fighter the longer they fight. The pressure of battle culminates into a single use ability that has devastating and drastic effects. In Skys case he seems to have three tiers to his limit break, each one exponentially stronger than the previous. The three tiers have been dubbed Heavenly Spear, Ascension, and Rain of Retribution. We believe this comes from the bloodline of the Fae Folk and his spiritual usage. He passive generates his Limit Break but upon its use the 'pressure' required for its use is reset.
Heavenly Spear: Tier One of Skys special Limit Break. He starts from his location and dashes straight through his opponent, slicing through them with a spectral spear. He plants it at the ending point behind his target and dashes back through, he then instantly switches locations and repeats the process so that the line of the path intersects with the previous one. We find each point to be at a cardinal point. The power spikes and then a ray of energy in the shape of a spear strikes down from above and deals incredible damage, he's shown to be able to slice armored targets in half. (Undergoing potential rework. Won't be used until a decision is made)
Ascension:Tier Two of Skys special Limit Break seems to be an exponential buff to his own abilities. His spiritual energy forms around him in the shape of a Dragon-type humanoid complete with claws, wings, tail and fire breath. His already incredible physical capabilities grow exponentially and he gains a few new ranged abilities. Able to project spiritual fire long distances, cast unique spells and generate unique effects. We have not been able to see the full effectiveness of this Tier.
Rain of Retribution: Tier Three is the most deadly of all. Upon the execution of this level of the limit break volleys upon volleys of spectral spears fall from the sky and stick into the area point first. Sky moves from spear to spear and dashes toward his target at high speeds, slow motion tracking show blurs and scans reveal incredible energy output. After using every spear available to attack his opponent the ground erupts in lag time from the high speed motion and power of the technique. This Tier of the Limit Break shows signs of approaching City levels of destruction in terms of power, for this reason Sky is to be monitored at all times.
Registered Equipment:
Galéda: The name of the Spear that Sky wields. It is six foot long with a blue shaft, leather wrapping starts at the middle of the shaft and weaves its way down to the butt in a cross pattern. The grip is black and the shaft is blue. The wood that the shaft is constructed out of seems to hold a toughness almost equal to that of titanium. The head and the butt, although bronze in color, are harder than steel but seem to be less durable than the shaft itself. When asked about this quality Sky said "The shaft is the soul of the spear, so it should be the hardest part. A strong soul strengthens the rest of the body." The head of the weapon has a single, six inch, spear head that is flanked on both sides by curved blades. Despite trying to call it a trident Sky corrects us at every opportunity. The spear seems capable of holding Materia and, to this end, it has been fitted with six Zephyr materia. Three in the shaft, one in the butt and 2 in the head.
(Credit to the artist.)
Légahohvun: The only piece of armor that Sky has been shown to wear. He shows the ability to summon it from the extra dimensional space his magical ability maintains. Its a simple suit of armor that combines hardened leather and metal. It has a helmet, greaves, forearm guards, gauntlets, boots, leggings and a chest piece. The helmet covers most of the face with central piece coming down over the nose, it's bronze in color and has holes for his antlers. The greaves, Forearm Guards, boots are all made of a hardened leather and are rimmed in the same bronze colored armor. The Gauntlets cover the hands and attach to the forearm guards, made of the same bronze metal that covers his head. The chest piece and leggins are made out of the hardened leather, covering all vital areas but the chest guard lacks sleeves while the leggings stop at the knees. The hardened leather is black in color and apparently holds increadibly durability. Each piece of armor seems to be able to hold at least one materia, so at Skys request we've added one Zephyr Materia into each piece of armor. (OOC Note: Think Spartan style of Armor.)
Sky hadn't leaped out of a cloud that was caused by the creation of a 30 foot crater, but he did manage to stay close enough to his retreating opponent that his spear would find purchase. But the penetration that was made into Re's flesh didn't feel right. Sky had punctured his spear into many living beings both sentient and non-sentient. There was a particular feeling when a body was penetrated by a spear tip, the resistance that a body gave wasn't there in Re's form. Not to mention when the skin was pierced Sky got a feeling for the energy within his opponent. He wasn't exactly sure what he was fighting but it wasn't a normal person. Still it was good that out of the four strikes at least one of them hit. Re was quick to recover and Sky recognized that he'd be under assault quickly. Instinctively the energy that he'd been storing since the start of this was funneled directly into the spear that he was wielding. This reactionary measure caused a nearly transparent, quite faint, white glow to form around its physical form.
The spear was still in between Sky and his opponent when the wave of energy was released from the swiping of his hands, Re's path being on a direct course with Sky's descending form. The spear itself would intercept the attack that Re had unleashed before it hit Sky. Considering what Re was he may see, in full effect, the cone of energy that fanned out from the tip of Sky's spear. The blast would be broken through with the point of the spear, destabilizing the concentrated raw force. As it ran itself upon Sky's spear and its spiritual projection of a cone shape it'd break like wave over stone. This saved Sky from the damage he would have sustained from its impact and, due to being in mid air still, forced him back but at a slower speed since it didn't hit him at its full strength. He'd be thrown to the ground but instead of the rough impact he might have sustained he landed upon his feet and slid to a quick stop as Re started that spin. Sky wasn't going to stay still, doing so would be defeat or death. He started moving just before Re finished his spin, making a quick change of position with a sudden sprint to his left. As the chains and blades came down they'd impact where Sky had been standing, which was now off to his right about a foot from him.
The moment they landed though Sky flourished the spear in his right hand, releasing it with his left, so that as he lowered it toward the ground it'd find itself in a reverse grip. The point of the spear aimed to come down inside of one of the links of the chain that connected to Re's right arm. The heat that they gave off and the energy properties that they were imbued with wouldn't effect the spear itself in the least. The spear had energy running through it like Re's chains and sword. The heat that they gave off would be dissipated and bled away into the environment away from the weapon and since there was a coat of energy between the chain and Sky's spear the anti-material properties wouldn't take effect. It was fighting energy with energy, his energy was linked directly to him though. The goal was the pin down the right chain blade, but not just physically. Sky anchored his spear to the spiritual level of the material plane they were on. In layman's terms it was going to take more than just pure physical strength to rip the chain free. And the particular link that was targeted was 5 links down from the location where the chain connected to the sword.
Following this was a simple maneuver. From the free left hand a surge of energy would be felt and then quickly released, less than a seconds worth of time passing for this to happen. The beam itself had a tip on it, shaped much like the head of Sky's spear. It flew across the distance between Sky and Re at the previously established 500 mph. It aimed to pierce the man directly in the chest, punch through, and then come out the back. Thanks to the pointed nature of the attack and it's strict puncturing sub-type it had the extra property of piercing through conventional energy based and physical barriers. Also to note since Re can absorb energy he'd have to fight Sky for control of the energy that was being fired, which would be more than enough time for the attack to do it's damage. Since the attack is based in spirituality it had a chance to actually damage the Ergokinetic nature of Re's insides, like piercing a soul. Hit or miss the beam of white energy would disappear after it either pierced through Re or the area that his body had once been occupying, should he dodge it.
Sky wanted to know how his opponent would react to the oncoming spear, each thrust was done quick and in rapid succession of one another. He paid close attention to Re as he slid back away from the first strike, shuffling slightly to make sure that the proper distance had been achieved. All the while the man didn't break the stance that he held. The man also began a maneuver as the second strike came forth, parried by the sword. Sky learned a bit about how confident Re was in his abilities, how capable he was to a certain extent and got an average of his reaction time. He figured that Re could react faster, but starting with a baseline reading was good enough for now. The parry of the tip of the spear didn't cause much stir with Sky, the weapons course quickly corrected immediately after the deflection as it was withdrawn. One thing that both Sky and Re had in common was that it only took a fraction of a second to react to the various situations that presented themselves around them.
Sky had a supernatural sense about the area around him, able to feel the flow of energy and the general locations of objects that occupied the space around him. The build up of power within the leg as it was raised told Sky that something was going to happen with that limb. Of course, since they were fighting, it had a high chance of being something violent. The angle of the leg and foot itself, coupled with the fact that there was a spear tip between Re and Sky, dictated that Re wasn't going to attempt a kick at Sky; such a thing could result in the leg getting impaled, regardless of the energy that was being put into it. Through spiritual and physical telegraphing Sky knew that the leg itself wasn't going to be thrown his way, they didn't know enough about what each other could do to warrant such risks. So when the foot changed position so that the sole would start moving toward the ground Sky likewise started to move. His spear was pulled back as his knees bent, only to push off of the ground as Re's foot was half way through its plotted course. By the time the foot collided with the ground Sky was a good five feet off of the ground, spear angling itself in a manner that kept the point facing his opponent as he ascended into the air.
The kinetic force behind the maneuver that was used pulverized the ground and caused it to crumble, any force that traveled through the air would break at the tip of his spear and soften as he passed over Sky while bits of debris merely bounced off of his form. The most Re might have saw was the fact that sky had jumped in order to avoid the shock wave that traveled through the ground, which would have more than likely toppled the Fae over. The cloud of dust that kicked up would obscure anything beyond that and while Re was blinded by this Sky still had good situational and spacial awareness when it came to his surroundings and where his opponent was. At the apex of his ascent the spear would be thrust forth again but this time it came much quicker and there were more that followed the first.
Passing through the distance between them at a solid 500 mile per hour the spear aimed to strike at the base of the neck, above the sternum, on its first strike. It'd be immediately withdrew as fast as it was unleashed and then sent forth again, the left hand guiding it to a new location. The second aimed to place the point below the sternum and into the diaphragm. Once more the previous actions were repeated, the spear with drew at the aforementioned speed and struck out two more times. The third was aimed at the left shoulder and the fourth was aimed at the right.
