Awesome thanks I'all have it up in the next few minutes here hopefully.
Are you by any chance still accepting new players or not?
Hi everyone this is my first attempt at GMing one of these play by post here I've done a few a long long time ago. I'm looking for a couple of other GMs to help me flesh out an idea I've been having over the last few weeks that I can't get out of my head.

Basically the idea is as such it's a action/adventure/crime noir game that would take place in a fictional city. Players would be able to create any type of character they want to navigate the city and interact with other players and NPCs. It heavily encourage working with other players in the game but not force it. It would be 22 episode seasons pending on how well the first does. How the episodes work is on Saturday of each week the players would submit to me and the GMs a one or two sentence synopsis of what their character will do that week and we will title and post them on that Sunday. In between that's when everyone is free to RP in the episode. A limit might be agreed upon but I don't wanna limit anyone on episodes but at the same time don't want it to get to bloaded and have people run out of ideas.

Anyone interested in helping set this up and play?
Jack had spent the last few days since first meeting the young woman teaching and training her how to survive on her own should something happen to him. Her lack of speaking made her the perfect student, she picked up shooting on both handguns and rifles very easy and was a pretty damn good shot. Her hand to hand combat left a little to be desired but she would get there eventually. She seemed agreeable to letting him help her get to The Safe Zone, he even got her to smile more than once. Jack still couldn't shake the force that was driving him to help this complete stranger out and even give his life if necessary.

Sitting at the kitchen table he watched as she rose from the couch yawning.

"Morning, you know at some point we're going to have to figure out a name for you." Jack said as she rubbed sleep from her eyes. "It doesn't have to be what it was, it's brand new world out there andyou can be a brand new person if that's what you want."

She sat and thought about his proposal for a second, he could see the gears turning in her head. Since he didn't know a name he just treated her like he had Privates that he taught as an Infantry Drill Instructor at Fort Benning. She never seemed to mind that unless he got too loud with her she would attempt to shrink back into herself and it would take him awhile to get her back from that place she went in her head. He looked back up at his ward shaking away the memories for the last few days. She was staring at him with a smile on her face, something about the smile warmed Jack up inside he could see the faces of.....well nevermind who. She was pointing at him and then her in the almost rudimentary way she attempted to communicate with him. After a couple of minutes pointing back and fourth he finally understood what she was trying to tell him.

"Oh, you want me to pick your name?" He asked a bit taken back.

She nodded vigorously.

"Ugh, I don't know if you want that I've never been good at picking names." Jack answered as his glance went out the kitchen window towards the graves he dug a few days earlier.

"How about Samantha?" Her face krinkled like she smelled something bad and she shook her head. "No? Ok that was just the first attempt give me a second I'm trying."

Jack stood up and started pacing the room a look on his face as if he's trying to solve the hardest puzzle in the world. At that point it struck him the perfect name for the young woman.

"How about Anna? It's short, easy to remember, and I always really liked it." The girl thought about it for a second and nodded her head. "Fantastic we got that out of the way, now comes the hard part. We're leaving the cabin today, after we eat lunch we'll pack what we can and hit the road. I've got my four wheeler mounted on the back of my truck. We'll take the truck as far as we can and then unload the quad and use it for as far as we can go. Sound good?"

She nods, Jack continues staring out the window not knowing if she's ready yet but the longer they stay the harder it will get to leave. Jack stands and begins to prepare lunch .
Bump, just trying to get the post above this bot crap.
The shovel hit the mound of dirt for the final time as Jack steps back to look at the two neatly filled graves. A couple of tears stream down his face he sighs and pulls the custom Sig Sauer P226 out of its holster. He takes a deep breath and walks over to the edge of the cabins' deck and takes a seat placing the pistol next to him. Jack continues staring at the graves as he pulls a small flask out of his pocket, toasts the graves, and drinks the remaining contents of the flask. He sets the flask down and picks the pistol back up and presses the barrel to the side of his head. Closing his eyes he takes another deep breath the one he plans on being his last, a piercing scream shatters the serenity of both this beautiful morning and his final moment. Taking the barrel away from his head he quickly stands up and closes his eyes once again to try and pinpoint the direction of the screams. Once he has his direction he pulls a small cylinder out of the cargo pockets of his pants and quickly screws it to the end of the pistol. Breaking out at a quick jog he heads the direction of the noise that interrupted what was supposed to be his final moments on this now shitty planet. Running for what seems to Jack like forever he finally locates a young woman covered in blood and dirt. As the girl reaches him she collapses exhausted at his feet. Her eyes look up at him filled with both terror and hope, Jack looks back up from her and sees exactly what she's been running from. Three of the creatures stumble towards them, Jack has already learned that they don't move very fast and in small groups are relatively less dangerous. Jack takes his aim and fires one shot towards each of the walkers each hitting its mark dead on and with each shot gives the satisfying sound of the pop the silencer gives off.

Jack holsters his pistol and extends his hand down to help the young girl to her feet. She takes his hand and stands back up tears start to flow freely from her face as she wraps her self around him in a hug so hard the jaws of life couldn't even pry her off. He says small sentences to comfort her, and after a couple of minutes she releases the embrace.

"I got a cabin not to far from here let's go get you cleaned up" Jack says looking directly into her eyes but already knowing that she can barley hear him. He's seen this before in soldiers he's lead in both Iraq and Afghanistan the girl has severe PTSD and has most likely had a complete mental breakdown. He can relate to that seeing as just a few moments ago he was about to paint the side of the cabin with his brains. Knowing there's no use in attempting to talk to her in the state she's in he grabs her hand and quickly leads her back to the cabin.

They reach the cabin and Jack unlocks the door and leads the young woman inside, he leads her over to a table and sits her down, then proceeds to kneel in front of her.

In a very soft voice he speaks "My name is Jack now I understand you've been through a very traumatic experience but you're safe now. I promise I'm going to do my best to protect you and help you through this. First things first we're gonna have to get you cleaned up, through that door is a bedroom that leads into a bathroom. Go on in and use the shower once you're done there's a red suitcase in there with some clothes that may be a little big but should fit you just fine do you understand me."

She Nods.

"Ok go ahead and go." Jack goes to stand up but she grabs his arm and starts shaking her head. Jack understands that she's too scared to go alone but at no point is Jack interested in having to help her shower. Jack gives a frustrated sigh before an idea pops into his head. Jack reaches into a small pouch hanging off his belt and pulls a small black item out of it.

"Ok I get it you're scared, but this right here is a Benchmade Infidel one of the best knifes you'll ever see. I can't count the times this knife has gotten me out of a jam." Jack lays the knife into her hands and she holds it up to inspect it with a confused look. "You see the grey button on the side? Swipe that up with your thumb." She does as he says and the blade pops out of the top startling the girl a bit. She swipes the button down and the blade disappears. She repeats this process four more times before Jack stops her. "Ok, ok that's enough you don't wanna wear out the spring. Are you good to go now?" She nods, clutching the knife she heads towards the bed room.

Jack shuts the door behind her as she absente mindedly starts stripping off her bloody dirt caked clothing. He stops listening for a moment until he hears the noise of the shower and gives a sigh of relief. He pulls his pistol out of it's holster and unscrews the silencer putting it back in his pocket and sets the gun down on the kitchen table. As he steps over to the kitchen to start preparing a meal for the two of them his radio that he'd forgotten that he'd even left on springs to life startling Jack. He runs over to the radio grabbing it up and turning up the sound.

'This is a Broadcast sent over all frequencies, if anyone is out there, if anyone is still alive you don't have to survive alone we a safe haven located in Centralia, Washington. I repeat we have a safe haven, If anyone is out there we are located in Centralia if you can here you are welcome to join.'

Jack keys the radio and attempts to speak but gets nothing back. Realizing that whoever they are they probably have the capability to broadcast further than he can. He looks down at the radio and then back at the bedroom door, in that moment he realizes what he has to do. Jack steps back over to the kitchen and picks his pistol back up and softly speaks to it. "Ok old friend we get her to Centralia and then finish what we started." He drops the pistol back into its holster and continues on their lunch.
