I'm interested, but I also feel like this will be....well very short.

Do you have any plans to make it last for some time beyond the bandits?
>_>

And you were worried about ME being noncommittal? lol
"As I said I don't know much of Valm anyway, so any information would still be good information to me." Katherine smiled, "And if there was anyone to learn from about that it would be the Exalt and the Prince." she nodded. She actually was interested. She was never taught very much of foreign lands. Katherine always wondered what was beyond her house and Ylisse.

"Oh, what was Walhart like? Father said Chrom only beat him by some sort of miracle. He must've been very strong." she nodded again, "I agree it is....I just hope no one gets the idea in their head to sit things out and try to hold of Grima alone or something."
"That's right, I am...well, as of today. The Exalt and Lord Xavier need all the help they can get and I thought it was about time I did my part. I was lonely out there all by myself anyway with my parents gone fighting the Risen...." She smiled at Damien.

She nodded to him, she could tell he didn't like being called Lord, "As you wish, Damien." she felt a little weird about it, Katherine was taught to always respect those higher than her in birth and authority, but if it upset him she could tolerate it. Eventually, it would become second nature, anyway. "I'm afraid I don't know much of Valm.... Perhaps, you could tell me more of your country?"
Not Katherine! Clerics have good Res. c:
Katherine straightened and her eyes immediately went to Adalbert's wound. "Gods...that looks painful... I'll heal that right up for you.... Do you always jump through windows to get out of a building instead of using the door?" she said with a small smile before placing her staff above the wound and healing it up for him.

After a moment she lowered her staff and turned to Damien. "Oh, sorry milord. I was distracted." she said curtsying to him, after fixing her hair up a little.
Not wanting to risk being left alone with the other men at the Inn, Katherine followed after Adalbert. As she went by one of the tables one of the men pinched her on the bottom. She let out a little yelp, but didn't have time to scold him. It took her a little longer for her to catch up to him, he was faster and knew the place better, but after getting lost a couple times she eventually found him at the stables. It seemed another man was paying for Adalbert's horse.

She stopped next to him and bent at the waist, putting her hands on her knees to catch her breath. "Don't....leave me alone...like that..." she said, between pants.
Katherine listened to Adalbert as he told a story of his father, Stahl. She wasn't to not listen... "UIm, I meant more like what was he like?..." she smiled a little and rubbed her arm, "Me? There isn't much to tell. My parents and I live on the outskirts of Ylisse on a farm. My mother is a cleric like me and my father is a knight. He was retired until the Risen appeared."

She shrugged, "After living alone for awhile, my father fighting and my mother healing soldiers, I decided it was time to do my part and here I am....Nothing special, really...What about you, Aldabert?" she asked, her smile widening.
Katherine nodded, "Yes, my father spoke of Stahl on occasion. A good man." she smiled, "And I suppose you could call me Kat, if you wish."

"Wha-" was all Katherine could get out before the men started converging on them. And then Lucina and Xavier burst in and broke up the fight, "-Oh, thank the Gods..." she sighed. "Thank you, milord, milady. I was afraid for my life for a moment...." she said before they left.

She grabbed Alalbert by the hand and led them to the table that Xavier had pointed out before the other man got anymore ideas in their heads. She sat down and looked at Adalbert, watching the other men out of her peripherals and trying to hide from them. She didn't really know what to say, but she knew he enjoyed telling stories about his father. "Tell me more about Stahl...my father didn't really tell me many stories of him...." she asked, her voice still carrying a scared and worried tone.
Well, having a big ol' CLOSED sign probably isn't the best for that....lmao.
