@Legion02Idea one with a dash of "some souls can be broken down into large enough chunks that they retain aspects from their original soul" sounds best to me. A lot of it comes down to @Lugubrious, though.

@DawnscrollOrder and balance are not the same thing, no? Order is just the arrangement of things according to some instruction or sequence; in this case, Logos' will. It just so happens that he wills balance. So, hypothetically, if he decided that actually the universe should be made out of fluffy pink marshmallow -- would that become the new "Order"?
@LugubriousI see; I thought you meant Slough'd make new souls. That would be interesting...especially in combination with Reathos. It might be a way to cheat death...
@DawnscrollWell, if Logos has order as a concept outside of him -- like a set of rules -- then it means that this set of rules is the true essence he advances, and so he by his own logic is not important (only the essence is). If, on the other hand, order is merely what corresponds to his will, then in his mind he is order -- which reduces the importance of order to a mere 1/20th of the universe and the level of any other god.
@DawnscrollUnderstood. That rather answers Mammon's question to him...
@DawnscrollI assume that stopping that is what Reathos' character is built around.

But why would Logos want to bring back the dead? That'd violate The Order, right?
<Snipped quote by Kho>
Of course, that doesn't account for Slough accidentally streaming souls into her living creations every once in a while.

Does this also give them sentience? --If not, what are the effects?
@Legion02I wonder what Logos thinks of the Adversary. I mean, obviously he dislikes the magic bit, but I do think his take on the testing will be interesting either way.
@DawnscrollOf course, the main issue is that it relies on people wanting peace, designation of who gets what, and not to fuck with other people's creations; it appears this is not a universal desire...Vestec.
@Dawnscroll>voting

That's much too democratic for Logos. Absolute monarchy sounds more his speed.
@KhoWait what? I did not know that. That is very interesting.

So you say that fantastical elements i.e. magic is written into the fabric of reality...does this mean that willing a being into existence, as part of magic (e.g. using the Adversary's demon portfolio) would be manifested as the magical birth it is, or would it too have "evolved"? --And how does said retroactive evolution interlock with Slough's domain?
