Calli moved quickly from the Governors office, rushing towards her tent. She didn't have much to grab, other than her medical kit. She reached into her pillow case and acquired her hidden handgun, along with 12 or so bullets. Her medkit was sitting on the ground next to her sleeping bag, almost fully stocked. She could treat a pretty serious wound and a few minor ones. She brushed her hair out of her face as got ready to leave. She took a deep breath, her stomach in her throat. She had to keep it together to help them keep it together. If she smiled, they wouldn't be as badly worried. But despite this logic, the dark feeling in her stomach didn't go away.
Louie was already to go, his flashlight and revolver on his person. However, due to this, he had to take the boy to get his things. All the kid had was a wrench, and two shanks. One of these shanks, he kept hidden in his sleeve. Louie didn't question it, maybe it was a last defense kind of thing? They were now sitting outside of the large metal doors, a few members already had made it. Louie closed his eyes, his arms were stretched above his head as he tried to calm his nerves. The boy obviously hadn't done this as from around the corner, retching sounds could be heard. This was going to be a long trip, and it didn't help that they had a kid to worry about.
