Name: Mathew "The Physician" Humber

Age: 33

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Bio: Mathew was highly respected throughout the city. Some believed his work to be a waste of time, but they still admired his determination. He was working on ways to cure every disease in Rapture, to make the city 100% pestilence free. As he worked tirelessly to find these cures, Adam began to grow in popularity. Mathew grew to resent Adam as it made all of his work pointless, due to its healing effects. As the Mathew became less and less respected, he grew angry. The last straw for Mathew were the side-effects of Adam abuse. He finally saw Adam for what it truly was: a disease. It was a bacteria to be cured, and the only way to cure a disease? Using the bacteria itself. He armed himself with two plasmids that would help him in eradicating this disease. Mathew took to curing those who he deemed "sick", stalking the splicers of Rapture, failing to see the fallacy in his logic. His consumption of Adam has warped his mind, making him believe that everyone must be cured.

Vigors/Plasmids: Houdini, Incinerate

Weapons: Elephant Gun, Knife

Faction: Splicer

Other: He never uses his real name, choosing to be called The Physician.
Is Rapture after the Civil war?

I'm going to have to recede my character from this RP, sorry. There has been minor issues involving Artemis's 'talents', as the original talent I wrote was overshadowed by 'Weather Manipulation', and the one I wrote after that was taken two hours later.Hope you all have fun. c;

I didn't even notice! D: I'm sorry that you feel that way, and just know you're welcome to join back at anytime.
Wyatt flinched as the bell rang, signifying the beginning of the year. Why did he have to go through this? He clutched the small poppet(voodoo doll) in his pocket, always keeping it on his person. The books were heavy as he lugged them down the hall to his locker. It was right next to the backdoor, which luckily that the building was so old, had no fire alarm on it. Spare papers from last year glided to the floor as he opened the locker and began to place his unneeded books inside. If these were the best years of his life, his life was going to suck. He sifted through his things before shutting his locker and heading to his first class, World History. He recognized a few of his past classmates, most of which he didn't remember their names. He knew that he should, but he was terrible with names. He pushed open the door of the classroom, arriving first. He sat in the back right corner, where he always sat if given the option. He waited for a few moments before standing up, leaving his stuff on his desk before returning to the hallway to try to find some of the other Gifted.

Joshua carried his backpack over one shoulder, walking along with a group of his friends. They were all describing their vacations, which all sounded like a blast. He had spent the summer overseas, in England. It had been a fairly enjoyable trip except the excessive amount of rain. There were a lot of cool people, but he was glad to be back home. He unlocked his locker, tossing his backback into the spotless locker. He had made sure to clean out his lock, as he didn't need any reminders of past classes. He smirked as he walked towards the World History classroom, waving to people as he passed.

I will have my character up tomorrow, sorry about the wait, I just need to figure out how to make it not suck...

It's just a guide for us, giving us a small look at your character. No rush! :)
If we start at Ms Galeyards house, those that are playing Regulars will either have to interact with each other or wait till school starts. I think it would be best to start at the beginning of the school day. I'll have the post up in a bit!

I made a new character, who is a Regular!
Derek walked down the stairs slowly, not being able to stop due to those behind him. He glanced as the door shut behind them, a latching sound echoed through the hall. He glanced over at Bishop and showed his few blades, not revealing the hidden one. He watched Calli show her handgun. He turned away when she began to ramble on about her medical training. Another man was asking about who the leader would be, and that stumped Derek. Who should be in charge? He liked the fact that Calli didn't seem to have a mental problem, and he also liked Bishops communication skills. He would pick one of them if he had to choose. He filled with the makeshift blade, twirling it between his fingers. He would wait to speak up, see what everyone else said.

Calli grinned as she finished talking about her medical training. It was so interesting, to her at least. She placed the handgun back in its holster. "So, Bishop," She began, "Aren't you the guy who makes the toys for the children in the Community?" She grinned. It was so sweet for him to do that for them, especially with how hard it must be for them... but why did he leave? Wouldn't they want to go to him for comfort? She was in no position to judge, so she spoke no word of this. She had a feeling they would get along greatly. She glanced over at the rest of the group, as one spoke up about picking a leader. She hadn't thought about that... She didn't want someone like Bishop to be put in a position that could make him feel guilty because of choices he made. She would pick on of the silent types, as they had probably been through tough situations before.

Louie walked ahead, glancing at where the tunnel went both directions. He peeked around the corners, his hands on his revolver. He slowly paced back to talk to the group. "Well, we can go either direction.. I assume both take us to the stairs." He paused as the others spoke, "They're both right. We need to figure out what everyone has, and who is going to be in charge." He withdrew the flashlight and the two batteries. "I've got these, and my revolver. The kid has a few blades." He wanted to think on the leadership thing. Maybe they could go down a few floors, and then make the decision? But if something went wrong, there would be total chaos and no leader to calm everyone back down. They needed to make the decision now." He leaned against the nearest wall, and waited for the others to speak up.
Would you guys like to start at Ms Galeyards house or at school?

I'm just waiting to let people make CS. And sorry if my message sounded mean! I it did, I didn't mean for it too! I wasn't expecting a lot of male characters, so any are great! I'll make the IC tonight!
