Mr. Ravenwood looked at Philip and stood up and walked up to the boy. "Such a shame a fine lad like you becoming like your aweful father there are times I wonder why we were friends." He said with a sigh. "It is getting late why don;t both of you come back to my place it is close by." Mr. ravenwood explained as he walked to Amy's room to see her one last time before he left. When he walked in and looked at her sleeping face it brought back some memories when her mothre an father brought her to visit.
Amy, whoe was 5 years old, had been playing in the yard trying to catch a butterfly while her mother was talking on her cellphone in a new extravagent dress while her daughter wore old looking t-shirt and overalls. Amy had tripped and fall on the ground and she skinned her arm. She got up crying and went to her mom calling her name out. "Mommy mommy I fell and hurt myself." She cried loudly and ran to her mom to hug her but her mother pushed her away. "Don't touch me with your dirty bloody body this dress cost thousands of dollars and I am not lettng you ruin it and suck it up its just a scratch, also I may have given birth to you does not mean I have to really care for you." Her mother said coldly and walked away going back to her converstatin while Amy sat on the grownd crying hard. The her grandfather comes up to her and picks her up. "Its ok Amy Grandfather will take care of you for grandfather loves you." He said and took her inside to treat her.
Mr. Ravenwood snapped out of his memory flash back and then patted Amy's head. "I am here for you now Amy like I was back then, grandfather will make it better I promise" He said to his sleeping gradchild and noticed some tears fall down her face as if she heard him.
