Avery stayed curled up in the bed as she slept in the bed. But she was being hunted by her nightmares she was always hunted by ever since things started to go downhill with her when her mom decided to leave their family. But somehow she was able to cry quietly in her sleep and nt disturbe Roland while he slept. But after a few god hours her phone alarm woke her up and she sighed a but as she got up and changed into her normal old clothes and folded the clothes Roland gave her up and placed them on his bed.

She quietly tiptod out of the room and grabbed her bag and placed it over her shoulder and quietly left the house before running down the street to her house. She poened the door quietly and heard her dad snoring still and sighed a bit in relief that he was asleep still. She cheked the time and knew he was going to be up soon so she placed her bag down and went to the kitchen and started on his breakfast. THe nrmal eggs, steak, and gravy since most of the stuff was leftovers from last night and the past of course. AFter a while she heard her dad groan. AVery breakfast better be ready." He said in a grouchy tone. "It is almost done dad just stay there I will bring it." She said knowing he was not going to get up to eat at the table. "And make sure you bring the beer also." He said and Avery just sighed as she placed the food on the plate and grabbed his cold beer and walked to the living room and handed it to him. He did not say thank you and just scarffed down his food as she went to her room to grab a few things for school.

As she walked back down stairs her dad was standing at the bottom of the stairs. "Uh is everything ok dad?" She asked started to trmeble a bit for she knew this was not a god sign. But her dad did not say anyhting as he grabbed Avery by her hair and yanked her hard causing her to fall down the last few steps. "This is not being here last nightt and not dealing with my poker debt I had to give him the rest of the money I had for the week." He siad for she got drunk fast from his beer and started t kicked and punch Avery hard. "Ow dad stop please." She siad while crying as her dad beat her pretty badly this time o when he was done she was laying on the floor with blood seping out of her body a little and she could not move. Avery slowly mved to get her phone and called the school saying she can not make it due to family trouble and hung up as she spent most of the day on the floor not moving.

Avery looked aound the room and noticed it was a bit messy but it was not as bad as her house not that place was messy. "Your room is not as bad as my house." Se said to Roland for her house was normally covered in beer bottles, trash, food, laundry, and sometiimes blood that came from her body when he would beat her. His room was nothing compared to her home. When he said about the extra sheets she just looked at him. "I should be fine I am used to being cold at night." She said to him as she sighed and walked over the bed giving up on trying to convince him to let her sleep in his bed.

She just sat on the bed and watched him show here where the alarm clock was and then him getting his journal. She got under the sheets and laid in the bed, though she had to admit that his bed was really comfortable unlike her old matress tthat she got from the street after someone tried to throw it away. She covered her head with the sheet also and pulled out her phone and set up the alarm on it so she would on it so she would wake up and get back to her place to mak her father's breakfast.

"Goodnight Roland." Was all she siad as she closed her eyes and started to doze off as she curled up in a ball for extra warmth. Soon she was fast asleep in the bed dreading tomorrow.

Kai sighed a bit for he thought this was just nuts. "Luna is stubborn." He said as he checked on Audaerin and was glad to see she was warm while she slept. Well we knew what we were getting into when we friend her and Audearin." Kagato said to his twin as he laid back in his bed staring at the ceiling not know that Elsa's sister was making her way to the palace.

Avery looked at him when he said he would have her sleep in his room and she sighed. "Roland no its ok I can sleep on the couch I really do not mind at all." She said to him as she watched him g to his room and sighed for she felt that he was going to be stubborn about this and ruin her plans a bit for she thought if she slept on the couch she could sneak out faster and get to her house to cook her fathers food before then heading to school. Avery just did not know why he wanted her to sleep in his bed for she thought he be really weird about her sleping in his room.

She just let out a sigh as she sat and waited for him to come back as she messed with her braided hair while looking at her her folded old dirty clothes that she would have to wear again tomorrow but at least her hair was nice and clean for tomorrow but she knew it would go back to being gross, dirty, and would needed to be trimmed again but take forever to get a chance to trim it or cut some length off it again.

While Avery sat there she heard Roland and she sighed a bit and got up and followed him to his room. 'Roland its sweet of you but I really do not mind sleeping on the Sofa for this is your bed I don't want to be a burden or anything." She said to hi for sh wanted him to sleep comfortably. She was used to sleeping on floors, lumpy matresses, and other stuff she could sleep on almost anything that is uncomfortable for anyone.

Avery looked at Roland as she tried to make sme conversation with him but it was ovbious that he was sleep and should just let him go to bed for she did not want to keep him up when he wanted to sleep. She listened to him as he explained what he would do when he is never given chores. When Avery heard him talk about his journal that he would write in when he is alone. "Sounds like me when I draw when I finally get some alone time." She said to Roland ass she put her sketch book back in her bag and stretched a bit. "I know you are tired Rolan why don;t you go to bed I will sleep on the couch." Avery explained to him as she looked at him for she did not want to keep him up at all when he looked like he was going to pass out at any minute.

She looked at him as she sat there about ready to sleep now herself at least for a night she will have a good night sleep well mostly at least for she will have to get up early tomorrow to go home and make her fathers breakfast and hope he had a good poker game tonight and avoid a beating at least. She then let out a small saigh for she knew she was not really the best company to have around but then again she was normally quiet and stayed away frm a lot of people.

Avery got up and went to the kitchen to get something to drink to help her fall asleep. SHe got herself a glass of water. "Um Roland can I hae some blankets and a pillow to sleep with?" She asked not wanting to sound so needed or greedy but she just wanted to be a bit comfortable and warm. Once she got her glass filled she then drank it down pretty fast and made her way back to the living room and sat back down on the couch.

Avery looked at him as shesat on the couch not know at what to do for she never got this much free time before and if felt weird to her. "This feels so weird though not doing anything until I pass out." She siad to Roland for it was very hard for her. She looked around the room not knowing at what to do except draw so she grabbed her bag and opened it to pull out her sketch book and started draw n a new page. As long as she kept her hands busy she figured it wwwwould at least help fight off the boredom. Avery did a basic sketch of a young girl holding a cat close as she hid in the closet. That was another part of her past for sometimes she draws what has happened in her past somethimes.

Avery then looked at Roland. "Since you do not really clean or do a lot of chores what do you do?" She asked him as she looked back at her book and kept sketching her heart out for it felt nice to have more time to actually draw. She loved to draw for sh felt at peace for it transported her into a world of fantasy because thr reality world only hurt her.

"I agree with Mark on this one Rose is very sensative to that also due to her past which is why this gang is a strict no kill we knock them out and hand them over to the police with evidence they can use." Alex said to Glitch for he worried about Rose for she was that girl from the article that was missing for Alex found her adn took her away before the police came and did what he could by changing her name and life style so she can move on. Though he also helped build up this gang when she was in middle school. "And if you want to know this article is about Roses family back when she was known as Amber Ann Harth bfore I got her name changed to Rose Prisma Frost she was actually hiding when it happened but witness it still she never go a good look at who did it so who ever left that mark could be from a rival afia or gang trying to get ride of the other we have no proof on it or evidence on who did it to her family." Alex said as he looked at Glitch. "So never bring this up again." He said as Glitch nodded at him and got back to work.

Rose was outside smoking her cigarettes trying to calm down but the images of her past keep popping up in her head and she wanted it to vanish.

Glitch fxed her glasses on her face as she looked at the stuff also along with Rose as she saw all the files and profiles on the workers. "Very interesting." She said as Alex loked at the stuff also. Glitch got to work copying the files though so they would have it for insurance and so she can start looking for tthem through tones of research and work.

"Hey these two have the same last name as you Lukas." Rose said pointing at the two being his parents. "Let me guess your parents?" She askd him as she looked at him after getting a look at the pictures and Glitch came across something. "Hey Lukas did your parents ever kill a wfie and husband cus there is an article under their files a new paper saying how a break in happened werea couple was killed and a symbol was left in blood and.....and their daughter no where to be found?" Glitch said as she looked at it while Rose froze a bit and Alex went to her. "Enough Glitch move on to copying and leave it." Alex said but Glitch as about to protest but He glared at her and she shut up and got to work.

"Rose go ahead and get somethig to eat you must be hungry." Alex said and Rose left without saying a work. "Just great." Alex said annoyed.

Avery blushed lightly that it could not really be seen for she hve not say anyone say she was beautiful she was called horrible things never beautiful before. She loked at him and tilted her head at him at how exhausted he was frm a simple clean up and she did ten times more then what he probbal did every day. SShe would cook, clean from breakfast then cook her fathers lnch, go to schol go to the store for dinner, come home cook dinner, clean then do her hmwork and then go to sleep which was normally around midnight. "how can you be tired from cleaning up I do ten times more then this and I normally feel fine." Avery said as she walked over and sat next to him leaving speace between them.

She then looked at him a bit but then rested her head on herhand. She barely felt tired but it felt weird being with someone who was tired now. "Feels weird that you are tired and I am not and I am usually the exhausted one because of all my chores through out the day but it feels weird not having to do it all" SHe said to him as she looked around the house confused a bit.

Avery placed her stuff on the coffee table as she moved her braided hair over her shoulder so she could grip it a bit. She looked at it and had to admit she liked it clean a lot better then all birty and a big mess. Now it loked tamed and a bit easier to manage. She was wondering where Roland went and was getting a bit nervous but once she heard Roland she turned around to look at him but tlted her head when he stopped mid sentance. "Um thanks for offering the shower and letting me borrow your pj they are very comfortable." She said to him as she looked at him. "And thanks for lending me the scissors." She said to him as she looked at him feeling subconsious about things now.

When he asked about her hair all of a sudden she looked at him. "Oh yeah I have had years of practice of cutting it until I got really good at it and it saves a lot of money to do it myself instead of getting it done by a professional." Avery exlained to him as she moved her bair behind her shoulder and looked at him. "It looks ok right?" She asked him for she was wndering if it id look ok or if she made a mistake with it.

"I had to start cutting my own hair once dad said that the money has to be used for what he wants and I had to fend for myself." She said to him as she looked down feeling weird for she felt weird for she enver told anyone this when it started to happen to now.
