Mercy
Mercy smiled at Darwin’s comment about his hair, she was inclined to agree with him there. She halted any further movement as he asked them to wait a second, looking at Darwin questioningly. She allowed surprise to enter her expression as Darwin surrounded himself with some kind of rainbow light, she resisted the urge to reach out and touch it. She nodded her approval at his clothes change as she started walking towards the resort with both Garden and Darwin in tow. “Now those are perfect” She complimented Darwin’s wardrobe change, looking over at Garden as she announced she would be joining them. “Excellent! The more the merrier!” Mercy grinned at the other girl, making her way up the wooden pathway towards the resort. She glanced over her shoulder as Darwin spoke again. “Hmm, resistance is futile against our wily charms dear Darwin” She teased as they walked, winking playfully at Garden as she pulled her into the conversation. She raised a curious eyebrow as Garden asked about Skittles, a warm smile crossing her face though she left the explanation for Darwin.
After all she had made the assumption that although they were one of her favourite sugary snacks she pegged him as somewhat of an expert. As they continued to walk Mercy’s eyes wandered to investigate the area around them, she felt a little wriggle of excitement shoot up her spine as they reached the top of the stairs now standing at the entrance to the resort. “This is beyond amazing...” She murmured, her eyes grazing the modern layout before her...she was usually one for the older architect but she couldn’t lie that this set up was rather spectacular as well! “It even has a hot tub! Ooo I wonder what’s inside” Mercy clapped her hands together in delight at the idea of seeking out a bar, maybe just maybe she could obtain some form of tea she was very fond of tea. “Ah, where are my manners...” Mercy chastised herself, turning to her companions. “I completely forgot to ask you how your time away had been, relaxing I hope?” She asked, already walking backwards to the front of the resort careful to avoid the pool as she went, her eyes grazed the calm water briefly maybe swimming could be added to her list of activities after all, if there was still time left after sunning and reading... “Drink anyone?” She added after a moment noticing this place did in fact have a bar though she highly doubted it sold anything with alcohol in it.
Little Feather
Little Feather huffed her hair out of her face seeing everyone else already in their swim wear made her hug her clothes tighter. She wasn't sure about this skin flaunting business, she had been devastated when Mercy had wrestled her into the woman's rest room abroad the ship and forced her to change into swimwear and ordinary clothes. Lion went to move forward when someone flopped down in front of him, he jumped back jolting Little Feather enough to catch her attention. "Oh hi Drow" Little Feather grinned as Drow murmured 'hot' her grin faltering as Drow flopped down in front of Lion, she lifted a hand to her head quite unsure what to do with Drow, she slid down off of Lion standing on the wooden paneled path that led up the side of the beach as he gripped the back of Drow’s shirt tightly in his teeth attempting to lift the girl and drag her off of the dry sand if she would allow him, if she did he rested her down gently on the wooden panels turning to grin at Little Feather.
His ears pricked as he heard someone say his name he turned his head to look at them, his grin widening as he lifted his jowls higher. Ah Seven, good to see you again! How are you holding up? Lion grumbled at the bakeneko. Little Feather raised both of her eyebrows in surprise as the two conversed, she had forgotten Seven could speak with Lion. Glorious place to be, do you reckon they’ll have plenty of game around here? The large lion gave a hopeful rumble to Seven, his tail flicking happily behind him. Little Feather twisted her shirt around her hands looking nervously at the sand at her feet, she reached out and touched it with her toe deciding it was too hot she withdrew her foot, she looked out at the ocean. She'd heard stories about it...even flown across it at times, but she'd never had the time to stop and investigate it she was rather mesmerized by it as she watched gentle waves lap at the sand, she rubbed her hands together feeling a little insecure she moved closer to Lion lacing her fingers into his mane. He purred happily at her before returning his attention to Seven.
