Mercy

Mercy watched the man with knuckle duster’s storm through the gate and take out the last two undead creatures; she felt an involuntary shiver shoot up her spine as she watched him deliberately trip his sibling so she almost fell onto one of the creatures face first. Although e grabbed her and pulled her back, it made her heart beat faster and a peculiar sense of mistrust ebb into her mind, even if it had been a joke it was a rather risky one...

She watched Olivia rush around helping Rena take down a fair few of the shambling creatures, a mixture of worry and awe passed through her, though she also felt guilty for not being more helpful. She heard mention of animals being here...cows, horses, chickens...she lifted a hand to her forehead trying to process everything, she was beyond exhausted how was everyone else not? She wiped her damp forehead on her lower arm, only succeeding in smudging the dirt accumulating her skin as she tried to focus on the task at hand, she was so focused on keeping an eye on Olivia she had completely forgotten to retrieve her arrows.

She somewhat sluggishly moved across the grass towards the house, forcing herself to fight off the sudden weariness that settled into her bones...they weren’t safe yet but her mind had already decided they were. Without adrenaline pumping through her system the last couple of hours were catching up with her, she had forced herself to push Tamashii from her mind and soldier on but now they weren’t in immediate danger, she couldn’t pretend she was OK with it anymore. She finally caught up with Olivia who was washing the goo from her face in the pond, she smiled offering her a wave as she approached her. “How are you doing?” She asked, unable to keep the concern from her voice as she cautiously checked the young girl for signs of injury. “Nice takedowns by the way” She complimented her demonstrated prowess. “I’m just heading over to the house to see if they need any help” She told Olivia, touching the girls shoulder briefly before moving away from her unsure whether she would follow or not.

Once Mercy was at the house however her courage all but failed her, all she had to protect herself was an arrow...and the idea of going in there after knuckle duster man really did not appeal to her. Her heart begun to thump faster in her chest, which was never a good thing she had to take a few deep breaths to steady it again. “Hey! How’s it looking in there?” She called, placing a hand on her chest as she breathed an arrow still held in her other hand; her bow was slung back across her back. She jumped as the dark haired woman stumbled around the corner, jolting towards her but pulling herself back as her partner appeared by her side. She smiled as the other woman announced the back of the house was clear. “Good, that’s everywhere except...” She trailed off looking back at the house, painfully aware her hesitation was obvious. Stay strong, breathe She chewed her lip feeling her heart beat faster in response to her anxiety.

Tamashii & Mercy

Tamashii moved up next to Remy, her eyes falling on the girl who closed the gate she stiffened next to him watching the girl closely, though she felt her eyes wander as he asked if she could see Mercy. Her chest tightened when her eyes failed to find her companion, she ground her teeth and gripped the handle of her blade tightly. “No...” She whispered, trying to hide the bitter undertone to her voice. She physically flinched as he clicked his fingers, her eyes widening as they focused on the shovel wielding brunette in front of them, she was prepared for the worst when the girl returned to them, her hand resting on the handgun tucked in the holster around her waist.

She blinked in surprise at the girls words, she just...welcomed them in, she lifted her hand as the girl took off again. “Wait!” She called, but the girl was gone. “Damn it...” She hissed, glancing at Remy and Lucas she took a deep breath. “No time like the present” She told the pair of them before she got to her feet and approached the fence watching the other survivors warily as she effortlessly vaulted over the wooden gate, upon landing she sheathed the knife in her hand. She could see most of the group congregating around the house, her eyes naturally seeking out her familiar companion...Then one moment she was stood waiting for Remy and Lucas and in the next she had literally taken off at a sprint caution apparently thrown to the wind as she sprinted across the grass. “Mercy?!” She called, watching as the blonde haired woman stood in front of the house turned around sharply upon hearing her name.

A relieved smile lifted the corners of the blonde’s lips as with little regard to anyone else Tamashii practically flung herself at Mercy wrapping her arms around her neck. Mercy jolted in shock for a moment before briefly returning the embrace. “You’re ok? You didn’t...you’re not?” Tamashii stumbled over her words as she pulled back holding Mercy’s shoulders as she quickly checked her over. “I’m fine Ash...” Mercy murmured, her voice was small and wavered slightly as she spoke. “You don’t sound fine” Tamashii as she narrowed her eyes, studying Mercy for a moment longer before she looked round at the people surrounding them a certain amount of distrust apparent in her expression, she dropped her hands from Mercy’s shoulders but remained close by. “What’s going on over here? What’s the situation?” She asked no-one in particular.
I'm really sorry I've been so quiet recently! I've had a really busy week >.< I'll get a post in the IC as soon as I can! (Hopefully later today ^^)
Teddy noticed her puff out her cheeks but he wasn’t sure which comment had warranted that reaction, he felt slightly awkward as she paused after his question. I can’t be that bad at this can I? He wondered, it had been a while since he’d spoken to anyone except from Calvin. He blinked at her as she smiled at him again, he had to squint to see her properly but he felt his mouth twitch up into a smile as her smile grew. “Wow, you’re just brimming with talent” He attempted a compliment feeling it was well placed.

He could imagine it now, Emi on a safari ride camera in hand capturing the essence of the animals around them whilst he drove them through the dangerous terrain. Perhaps they’d come across a local tribe in need of assistance? A remarkably talented sculptor is needed to repair one of their statues and she’s the only one that could help...

Teddy had completely blanked out there, he hadn’t realized her hands poised and ready to help him should he take a tumble, he didn’t notice the worry in her eyes. That smile returned to his face with ease as she chuckled again he was rather surprised that he automatically liked her laugh, especially as she giggled at his shameful attempt to be a proper gentleman. He felt his cheeks warm up as she told him his name was cute with her soft melodic voice, the smile on his face grew at her kindness.

He was about to say something else when his brain locked onto something she had actually mentioned earlier. “I’m bleeding?” He backtracked lifting a hand to his face lifting his fingertips to his forehead, hissing as he jabbed the cut retracting his fingers he peered at the red liquid clinging to his fingertips. “Ah...well...” Teddy murmured. “That would be most appreciated Miss Emi” He thanked her prematurely. “If you wouldn’t mind guiding me, the least I could do is carry your things” He offered apparently not overly concerned about the warm wetness ebbing down his forehead and far more concerned about being a gentleman as he moved over to the door, subtly using every surface he could find to guide him, his feet proving to be very effective at locating broken floorboards as he moved. “Emi...if you don’t mind me asking, why were you in here?” Teddy asked as he tugged on the rotting front door, tugging it open and holding it there as he waited for her.
Mercy

Mercy was panting heavily by the time the group finally seemed to outrun the undead creatures, well for now. She glanced at the dark haired woman as she released her, her legs were on fire but it was nothing compared to the pain snaking its way through her chest. “Thank you” She breathed with difficulty although seeing the other woman stumble she lurched forward to help her but Tony was already by her side, feeling stupidly intrusive she backed away hastily turning her head to look for Olivia pressing her palm against her chest as if the simple action would ease her discomfort. Please...please not now... She silently pleaded, her quickened pulse thudded in her ears as she stood there trembling before moving over to the familiar redhead.

By the time they’d reached the cornfields her legs felt like lead weights and the pain in her chest had lessened to a more bearable ache. She flinched into a defensive stance as the undead creature ran towards them but Rena was quick off the bat and had already taken a shovel to its face before the blonde could even take a step forward, she exhaled in relief as no more immediately followed it. Her mouth twisting up into a smile at Olivia’s attempt to lighten the mood, if she could have spared the oxygen she probably would have chuckled. She had to agree though she really didn’t like the idea of traversing the cornfield, why couldn’t they go round? She chewed her lip anxiously as Lloyd told them to just follow his voice, she watched Olivia take Rena’s hand and disappear between the plants already feeling uneasy about the situation. Come on, you can do this...stay aware of everything...don’t think about it She slid between the tall beams twirling the arrow between her fingers until she had perfectly poised to gouge a creatures eye out should it com towards her, she was slightly ahead of Tony -she was sure that’s what he had been called- and the dark haired woman that had saved her...twice now. That’s going to be a hard debt to repay She didn’t think she’d ever been so aware of her surroundings in her life as she moved through the towering corn.

Ok, so breathing remaining calm-SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA! She was lucky she only screamed it in her head as an undead creature lurched between her and the couple (Chris and Tony) next to her, it was side on to her heading straight for them although they looked busy already. She pinged forward ducking to the left she drove her arrow straight into the creatures ear, the momentum took the pair of them to the ground straight out of the other survivors way. Maybe a little easier than anticipated... Mercy got to her feet quickly retracting the arrow from the creatures head as she did grimacing as she wiped more zombie innards onto her filthy jeans. ...eurgh I need a bath and clean clothes this is beyond disgusting These thoughts kept her calm as she managed to keep up to the others without any further incident. Upon receiving the message about the fence she stood just to the left of the group as they ground to a halt glancing around them trying to stay aware of her surroundings,

"Okay long rangers up front. We need to pick some of these guys off before we venture any further into the property"

She looked over at Rena who seemed to be trying to grab her attention and pulled her bow over her head, catching the dark haired woman pull her rifle from her shoulder she shifted closer to her and Tony. “I’ve got this one” She murmured, glancing down at the rifle in the woman’s hands. “Please don’t use that...” She spoke softly, she didn’t want to seem bossy but she was petrified one shot from that rifle would make the cornfield spring to life, all she could do was hope the woman heard her. She moved over to Rena, Olivia and Lloyd carefully peeking through the corn at the undead, a small sigh passing her lips. “6...I’ve only got 7 arrows left” She murmured, reaching over her shoulder to count them quickly to make sure she was correct, with an annoyed click of her tongue she slid an arrow into her bow having to shuffle away and to the left of the trio she used her foot to hold the corn aside, delicately poking her elbow out as she pulled the string taut taking aim and releasing as she exhaled the arrow soared through the air embedding in one of the creatures eye sockets.

Her hand darted up to the quiver pulling another arrow followed by another, a few minutes later 4 of the six were down. Mercy was following the fifth, string taut blue eyes focused on the creatures jerking movements, however by this point her arms were about ready to give out, each shot had to be perfect and it took time and patience to hit the right spot. Sweat trickled down the side of her face as her drawing arm begun to shake, she lined the shot up and released the arrow, which flew towards the fifth creature embedding into the side of its neck uselessly, that was her penultimate arrow she'd missed the 3rd creature completely on her first shot. “Oh fuc-dging Nora” Mercy hissed in annoyance, she caught herself before swearing regardless of the situation she wasn’t about to swear in front of a 13 year old, the apocalypse could sod off if that’s what it wanted. “Come on...there’s only two left” She grumbled, pushing past Lloyd she slunk close to the fence holding her last arrow tightly between her fingers her bow poised to batter anything that jumped at her as she made her way towards the gate, ignoring the moans of the creatures on the other side.

Tamashii

Tamashii was doing remarkably well at following instructions she'd become a lot less irritable once Remy had shown that he was very good tracking, as soon as he'd got the three of them on the same path as the group of survivors she had seen from the window she had become calmer in herself. Keeping Luka just slightly in front of her as she moved, she held her combat dagger tightly in her hand chocolate brown eyes constantly on the lookout for trouble as they moved, she kept up with the two men with ease refusing to allow her body to stop she had barely slept the last few days...Mercy and her hadn't been very lucky in finding places to rest the last few nights. Being the overprotective sibling Tamashii barely slept anyway, it was beginning to get to her after all she was only human.

"We're definitely on the right track" Tamashii commented as they moved past the dead bodies, she jogged closer to Remy just as they reached the cornfield, her jaw tightening at the sight before them. "Why would you willingly go in there?" She muttered, her forehead creasing into a frown she did not like the idea of going in there as well they would be practically blind. "Are you kidding me?" She grumbled as Remy crouched low and crept forward into the cornfield. "Bloody idiot" She muttered under her breath, more so talking about herself as she edged forward following him once he had whistled a signal she kept Luka in her sight as best as she could, very much aware of her surroundings as she carefully picked her way through the broken stems. Survival overriding her desire to reach her lost companion, she knew flying in unannounced was a sure way to get a bullet between the eyes.
Tamashii

Tamashii hadn’t heard the older man spit names at them, by then she had crossed the room she did however hesitate her ascent as she heard him mention another person. “Remy, saving people is your department” She spoke loud enough for him to hear but not loud enough to create noticeable noise outside of these walls. She however couldn’t focus on the newcomer as she ascended the stairs recklessly, moving into one of the rooms she carefully scanned every dark corner, cupboard and even under the bed before moving over to the window to gingerly look out of it into the street below, dread spreading through her as she realized how many of the creatures had moved into the road they were moving through like a herd of cattle. As she was studying the dirty mass of undead she noticed something rather colourful and shiny on the opposite side of the road, her eyes lifted automatically focusing on the flash of blue.

Her pulse quickened it may possibly be survivors she couldn’t be sure, it was hard to see from where she was stood she could however see the group of figures move away from the street into the woods. As the house alarm went off she practically hit the deck, ducking away from the mirror and slamming her hands over her ears hissing in distaste as the high pitched screech pierced her ears. “What the hell?!” She growled, lifting her hands away from her ears a few moments later as the shrill noise stopped, though her ears were still ringing. “Thank-Argh!” She exclaimed as the car alarms begun squealing in the street below, she got to her feet quickly glad the car alarms weren’t nearly as shrill as the house alarm had been

. Her heart crashed against her ribs as a low bird call echoed around the room, although she knew it didn’t sound the same for a moment she allowed herself to believe Mercy had been the one signalling her. She couldn’t stop the disappointment from seeping into her expression as Remy edged into the room, she lowered her knife watching him with guarded eyes especially as he seemed to be with someone. “I noticed” She commented, looking out into the street as he pointed before moving towards him.

“What did you expect? Survival comes first now days” She pointed out to him coldly, as she drew up beside him making sure the newcomer was in front of her where she could see him. Her eyes darted across the map, ignoring the trivia but focusing on the locations. “I think I saw a group of survivors across the way, they headed up into the forest” She told him, placing her finger on the small town they were in. “The chances of them coming across this farm are pretty high...perhaps the others are with them” Tamashii couldn't withhold the hope that clung to her voice as she retracted her hand and moved over to the window. “These rooftops are slanted but we should be able to move along them, if we drop off the side to the right we can sprint across the street whilst they’re distracted by the alarms” She told them both, lifting the window and sliding through it the crackle of tiles as she stood up, edging her way along the roof to the edge. Once there all she needed to do was jump down and sprint across the gap between the undead creatures...
Teddy looked visibly relieved when she confirmed she wasn’t hurt, he tilted his head as he realized she was smiling at him in a warm manner. He blinked as he heard her chuckle, puffing his cheeks out in exasperation as she mentioned her own phone was dead, he turned his head in the direction she motioned squinting at the shape she had indicated, possibly a bag of some kind...Walked here? So she lives close by... His attention was pulled back to her as she continued talking, mentioning painting which piqued his interest, he felt his mouth curve up into a smile as his brow creased in a thoughtful manner achieving a perplexed yet amused expression. “Perhaps, or maybe no going into strange abandoned houses unless accompanied by a valiant knight” He pointed out to her with a small smile, though he couldn’t bring warmth to his smile as much as he wanted to.

Valiant knight? Why didn’t you just say ‘person’ “...person even” He changed his mind, before clearing his throat. “So are you a painter then?” He asked curiously, listening to her question he took the hand offered to him thankful for the assistance, he was about 5'9 in height so he probably didn’t tower over her as he got to his feet. The movement however made his head spin dangerously he stumbled back a few steps slamming a hand down onto a cabinet as he waited for the room to stop spinning as he focused back onto her.

He frowned at her trying to understand why she was so concerned for his well being. She’s being so kind...am I sure I’m not hallucinating? He queried, he was still pretty blind at the moment with his scuffed up glasses so he very well could be he put a hand to his stomach grimacing as he stretched now she mentioned it he did feel a bit sore. “I think I’m okay, might have taken a knock to the head...but I doubt its serious” He answered her. “Thank you for your concern though” He quickly added.

That’s it, manners Theodore! Why would a hallucination care about manners? He pushed the mad thoughts aside, he was sure again that she wasn’t a hallucination as he had touched her hand and she’d helped him to his feet. He looked at her blankly for a second as she mentioned paying for a new phone, what was wrong with the one he had? It took him a moment to catch up with her. “Oh! No, no that won’t be necessary I think it was insured anyway for just an occasion...I wrote it in myself, ‘To be replaced in the likely event that I save a beautiful damsel from an angry homeless man and break my phone in process’ I put it in the small print” He tried to make light of the situation noticing her wring her hands in a worried fashion despite his effort it was probably painfully obvious he wasn’t used to socializing.

He smiled at her as she introduced herself. Emi? Peculiar name...I like it. Emi the fearless pirate captain of the Ruby Ravine, Emi and the knights of Kalar, Lady Emi of...damn it Theodore focus! He realized he’d taken her hand and shook it but having slid off into his own mind he was still looking at her with a smile on his face and holding her hand at least 30 seconds longer than was necessary. “Sorry!” He apologized releasing her hand and retracting his own. “I’m Theodore, Teddy for short” He smiled at her. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Emi” He extended his arm to the side bowing courteously to her though the movement made the room spin a second time causing him to clutch the cabinet he was stood next to.

“Oh...that is not good...I’m definitely crawling home” He murmured as he swayed for a moment longer. “In normal circumstances I would offer to walk you home, all in the name of chivalry” He smiled at her. “But...I find myself in a very awkward situation where I must ask if you would be able to help me” He murmured, his cheeks tinting a pale pink color he looked genuinely pained to be asking this of her. “I can barely see and every time I move I feel like I’m on Captain Swashbuckle’s boat” He added in explanation for his rude request.
From the start:

Beach Olympics

First event: Girls Vs Boys waterballoon dodgeball. Girls won this event xD Some of the boys broke the rules with friendly fire Crash was the worst

Second event: Crossdressing wipeout. Because the boys lost the first event they were dressed up by the girls in silly costumes and had to race through an obstacle course whilst being pelted with paint balloons and blasted with foam canons.

1st: Seven
2nd: Ryuu
3rd: Chris (HylianRose new character)
4th: Darwin
5th: Alistair
6th: Ara
7th: Crash
8th: Brako (< Yes he raced in a princess dress xD)

And that was the end of the Beach Olympics! Zivon and Yuki got lost in the woods during this event and didn't attend it >.> Apart from that not a lot else happened except for a bit of character chatter in between :)

As for now everyone is making their way to the training area where there are 3 dojo's One is physical training so more hands on, another is Shooting (?) from what I can gather and the last one is Magic training.

The training hasn't actually started yet, people are still wandering in and choosing where to go so perfect time to jump back in!
We are still on Destiny Island at the training part :) Just bring your characters there, it hasn't really started yet so there are plenty of ways to get Dani and Matt back in the action!
Teddy heard movement close by, turning his head towards it he saw outline of a person moving towards him when they knelt beside him he could see it was in fact a girl as she lent over him he could see her she had long brown hair that fell to and beyond her shoulders with wide innocent chocolate eyes without his glasses the picture was blurred and he couldn’t acutely take her appearance in, she looked completely surreal to him. Oh my, I think I’ve actually progressed to full on hallucinations He thought with a mental sigh, though his eyebrow hitched up as she spoke. Wait a minute... He lifted his hands towards the blurry image of his glasses as she held them up for him to see, he took them gently from her his fingertips brushing against hers.

...I’m not dreaming Teddy wasn’t sure whether this thought petrified him or pleased him. “Thank you” He murmured, pulling the sleek lenses towards his face he peered through the damaged glass audibly sighing at the damage as he slid them back into place. He could still barely see out of them...at least he could see a little better than before, his emerald green eyes focused back on the girl hovering over him able to take in her marginally clearer appearance. “Oh dear...this could quite possibly be a disaster” He stated, shuffling his glasses on his face. “I’m going to have to crawl home, at least that way I’ll be able to avoid the lamp posts” He continued on with a small grimace.

As if being physically hit by realization he suddenly jolted backwards just enough that he could sit upright whilst still facing her. “I’m so sorry! A-are you ok? I should have asked that first! He didn’t hurt you did he?” He stumbled over his words, his expression creasing with concern as he tried to focus on her. “I can call for an ambulance if you are” He offered patting his pockets down and pulling his phone from his pocket, the thin touch screen was broken and the phone itself looked well and truly smooshed. “...Or not” He backtracked glumly, dropping the useless technology he turned his attention back to her trying to check her over but whilst keeping his distance.
