- Little Feather & Lion -

Little Feather felt her smile broaden as Dani welcomed them to sit down, she slid into an unoccupied chair laughing lightly as Lion tried to stick his bottom lip out in a ‘pout’ failing miserably he ended wrinkling his nose and jutting his chin forward looking more like he was about to sneeze. Fine I’ll take the floor He grumbled looking around warily as if he was unsure about speaking in this area with so many people he wasn’t associated with hanging around. He plonked his butt down next to Little Feather swishing his tail happily. “It’s been fairly good thank you” Little Feather replied to Dani with a sheepish grin. “I’m sorry about abandoning you earlier...turns out we weren’t cut out for the ranged dojo...” She apologized, a look of guilt crossing her face. “I’m glad to hear your day has been good!” She smiled brightly at him, though she had dressed herself back into her ‘normal’ clothing upon inspection of her face she was actually missing her face paint, something she had not yet been seen without...

“I watched from the sidelines to begin with...there was a waterballoon dodgeball fight. Girls VS Boys, very amusing to watch! The girls won and a few of the guys kept breaking the rules” She grinned thinking of to a particular red-haired troublemaker. “Then they did this thing called ‘Dressing up’ or something like that, where we put funny looking clothes on all the guys” She told him in an animated fashion her cheeks flushing as she thought back to Alistair, though she knew better than to react this way to him anymore so she pushed it aside. Blushing more because she’d blushed in front of Dani, in an attempt to brush it aside she continued retelling her version of events in a rather fast and animated fashion. “Before they had to run through an obstacle course whilst being pelted by ‘Paint bombs’ and something called a ‘Foam Canon’! Carmen...kicked butt on those” Little Feather hesitated on the last quote as if trying to pull it from her memory. Seven won the race I believe” She finished her tale just as Liam approached the table. “Hey Liam” She greeted the girl with a warm smile, her face was still flushed at this point. Lion jolted as Liam stood on his tail whining low in his throat he quickly headbutted her foot off of the sensitive appendage and scooped it underneath him protectively. Always the tail... He grumbled maintaining his ‘grumpy’ lion visage. Little Feather blinked in surprise as the drink was thrust in front of her, she had no idea what an ‘Iced Tea’ was but the Salad Dani had chosen for her earlier had been very nice...perhaps this would be the same. “Thank you! That’s very kind of you” The Lakota woman grinned gratefully at Liam, as she lifted the glass taking a sip.

Lion’s ears twitched as he heard a soft familiar mewling, he turned his large head grinning at the small kitten. Good Evening little one He mewled back lightly wagging his tail as the kitten tried to bop at him from a distance. Little Feather looked up waving at Garden as she sipped her iced tea, which she decided was indeed delicious. “Hello, Lady Garden!” She greeted the other woman mimicking her polite titling. “Very well thank you and yourself?” She asked with a bright smile, her cheeks had finally returned to their normal coloring, Little Feather lifted her hand to her face seeking out the comfort of her facial markings. However a look of panic crossed her face as she couldn’t locate the markings that usually adorned her face. L-Lion! My face! Have I-? Little Feather made a rather peculiar purring noise in her throat looking at the Lion beside her, who pulled his attention away from the kitten after allowing himself to be bopped on the nose and nuzzling the little kitten affectionately. He blinked at her before nodding his head quickly, his ears flattening back as if he already knew what her reaction was going to be. “E-excuse me!” She stuttered out to the others trying to hide her face as she got up out of her seat, abandoning Lion who watched her with a worried expression. Though quickly turned back to Sunflower giving the cat at least half of his attention. How has your day been, furrball? Lion purred, grinning cheekily at his new pet name for the kitten...though he was more of a furrball than the little cat.

Little Feather was in such a rush she nearly collided with Leroy upon his entry to the lounge, she looked to be in a right state with her hand shielding her face and nose from view. “I-I’m sorry!” She stumbled over the words, jittering in an embarrassed manner. “A-Are you ok?” She asked uncertainly, trying to calm herself down...it was just paint. But to her those simple markings were a symbol, a mask of which to hide behind without the ‘idea’ of them she felt like a boat without an anchor. A thought flickered across her mind as she waited for Leroy’s response, she remembered he’d demonstrated his ability a couple of weeks back “L-leroy! Have you got any ink or paint on you?” Little Feather asked tentatively, she had told him specifically she would prefer him not to mess with her emotions but she was making a scene at the moment and this seemed like the fastest option to getting her face painted. “It’s just I've forgotten my face paint and well...” She mumbled, looking at her feet bashfully. “...if you wouldn’t mind could I borrow some? I don’t mind if you want to...paint it on for me, any kind will do” There was hesitation there but permission granted. “Please?” The Lakota murmured, feeling about ready to burst with anxiety

- Derek -

Derek’s ears twitched as he heard the woman chuckle before sighing. I fail to see why that question was amusing... He thought bitterly to himself though remained outwardly at ease, his eyes shifting to take in the ‘shape’ of the other dragon using the beautiful lights Maria’s voice conjured up for him he felt they were particularly bright with a certain...spark to them. He inclined his head towards her, his mouth twitching up into a polite smile as she spoke his name. “A pleasure to meet you Maria” He murmured tilting forward into a bow as a gentleman would have done in the presence of ladies in the past. He cast his ‘gaze’ over at the other students as she mentioned them trying to keep the look of disdain from entering his ‘young’ face, they were indeed a noisy bunch, though he appreciated the light their racket created his old ears retreated from the bustle. He had been slumbering for the last 100 years or so, so he was still adapting to this new world with its strange sounds and new shapes.

He rested his elbow on the bar casually leaning against it as he shifted his attention back to Maria, bending the colorful lights around her so he could ‘see’ her more noticeable facial expressions. His lip lifted into a smirk at the obvious tease, he was very much inclined to take her up on her offer but his emerald eyes shifted to rest on the old dragon behind her, he got the feeling the elder dragon didn’t want him to hang about. So? Stay and flirt a while...what do you care? He thought to himself, not allowing the devious smirk to leave his lips after all he could tell Maria was a very attractive woman...still.

Deliberately causing another dragon any kind of trouble on his first day probably wouldn’t do, he regretfully lifted himself off of the bar. “As charming an offer as that is, I wouldn’t want to impose on anything” Derek regretfully declined her invitation throwing a ‘glance’ at Brako, holding his hand out in a gentle attempt to take her hand however depending on whether or not she accepted such an intrusive action the young dragon either kissed the back of her hand lightly in farewell or presented her with another bow. “I shall...mingle for now” He told them, moving away without another word his nose wrinkling as he passed by the other students. I don’t want to associate with any of them...I wonder what this meeting will be about? He thought to himself, moving over to a secluded spot and settling himself down into a comfortable chair, wishing he was back at the alcove nestled up in his dragon form, he needed to rest his flight had been ridiculously long after such a long time hibernating.
- Mercy -

Mercy’s eyebrow peaked up again as she watched Chris’s features contort into a frown unsure as to its origin though she nodded her head, smiling as the other woman seemed to be introducing herself to the horses she found it to be amusing though she didn’t want Chris to assume she was making fun of the interaction so to distract herself she shifted back from Bandit to check him over...shy of needing that bath he was clean, she was just brushing him for the sake of it now.

She glanced at Chris as she asked another question, feeling a small chuckle escape her she replied with. “Just irresistible of course” though she felt her smile falter for a brief moment, unfortunately once something was said you couldn’t reel it back in and her ever so helpful brain had only just registered what Chris had said after clearing her throat. Ah...I see why she did that...harmless though? Deciding it wasn’t a big deal she merely continued to smile and left it as it was moving around Chris to duck down next to a small bag holding an assortment of brushes. She caught the change in the other woman’s voice as she mentioned her grandfather, she glanced up at her but figured perhaps it wasn’t a good subject to breach.

She saw Chris look at her again becoming slightly flustered under her gaze when she didn’t respond she just brushed aside, getting to her feet and brushing her hands together. Ah, of course she’d forgotten Ash had shared that information in a rather vocal manner, she shifted her gaze to Bandit as Chris gave her name. She remembered Tony had introduced her as Chris the day before...but “Christina, got it” She smiled earnestly and with ease, though she cast her glance aside at the second comment. “You make it sound like there are a lot of them left...” She murmured more to herself than the other woman, pushing the memories aside she noticed Bandit pushed his head out to investigate her, snorting liquid out his nose as she lifted a hand and gently prodded the end of his muzzle. “Eww, Bandit!” She complained, grimacing as she jumped back feeling the water speckle her she wiped the liquid from her arms, shaking her head talk about changing the mood.
“You’re gross” She grinned at him, hoping none of the offensive substance had reached Chris in the process, though it probably had...the Pinto now content with himself took a small step back reaching around to grab a mouthful of hay before returning his head for petting purposes.

Mercy shook her head at the horse, he was turning out to be quite the character “Did you want to spend more time with him?” She asked Chris, lifting her hand to her face to push her fringe back off of her forehead for a brief moment. “I was going to sort the chickens out next, if you weren’t doing anything would you mind...perhaps coming with me?” Mercy asked though she looked rather nervous whilst asking the question. Should I just say they freak me out now...no she’ll think I’m weird, I can pretend I’m not bothered Yup, even her thoughts were unconvincing. “He can just go back in his stall until later if you’re finished with him...I may need to talk to Lloyd to see whether they’re able to ridden” She commented a secretive smile apparent on her face. What was the point of having horses about if they couldn’t be ridden? Besides what if they needed them in an emergency and they hadn’t been ridden for ages? “You know...just in case” She added, though her smile told Chris it wasn’t a purely business like reason.

- Tamashii -

Tamashii noticed he was border lining staring at her as she got changed, she didn’t mind...though perhaps she should? It had been a while since Mercy or herself had been around other people, perhaps she should be a little more reserved, even the thought made her scoff. “Take a picture it lasts longer” She chimed at Remy, as she turned back towards him. Having raised both her eyebrows at him with an ‘Oh really?’ expression on her face at his mock shock, she rolled her eyes at him. “Good be sure that you do” She bit back though a smirk lifted the corner of her lip just a smidgen, it vanished quickly as she realized she was appearing far too comfortable around him.

She mentally shook herself off watching him bend down to pick up his noisy bag, before he glanced as her and answered. She folded her arms across her chest defensively, her normal frown taking up residence of her expression as she listened to his plan, though her lip twitched up again as his stomach joined in the conversation, amusement danced across her eyes at the slight flush to his cheeks. She turned away from him as he summarized the choices attempting to hide her smile as she shoved a few things into her backpack making sure it was ready to go should she need it, she glanced over at Mercy’s shaking her head as she realized both her bow and quiver were leant against the wall beside the bunk beds. “Perhaps eating first would be a good choice” She pointed out, her lip still raised in mirth as she turned and moved back over towards him. “Otherwise you’ll be blushing every 5 seconds because you’re stomach wants to be involved in our conversations” She smirked reaching over and patting the bottom of his vest, realizing what she’d done she retracted her hand breezing out of the door casually, though she checked both ways before entering the corridor openly showing her suspicion.

“Remy how long do you think we can keep this place secure?” She asked him naturally checking doorways before passing them, she wasn’t about to be surprised...again today. She took the stairs slowly, trying not to be too heavy on her feet as she moved. What she really wanted to say was ‘Should they trust the others?’ though she’d stopped herself because that sentence alone implied she trusted him and she would rather deny that, it would also highlight her anxious suspicion of everyone.
- Crash Bandicoot-

Crash was sat on the dry sand just along the beach from the huts, he had his knees bent up so he could rest his forearms over his knees playing with something in his hands. He'd met his roommate earlier for the first time since he'd started the academy, Ryuu the guy that had assisted him against Ara (A) during the water balloon fight earlier that day. He seemed to be an ok guy, perhaps a little on the scary side...? He looked like the type of guy that would steal your lunch money...but Crash knew better than to judge a book by its cover people wore many masks to hide who they really were, he'd be a foolish shapeshifter if he took everything at face value.

Deep thinking...it doesn't suit me and it hurts my brain He complained to himself, before pulling his arm back and lobbing the object he had gripped between his fingers. It turned out to be a stone, it soared through the air with ease and plopped into the calm sea with a small splash undoubtedly sinking to the bottom with ease. Crash groaned to himself and flopped back on the sand, unable to peg his sudden bout of melancholy...usually he buried it, the world would never see it and it would cease to exist. "Too much thinking...that's the cause of it" He told himself, for a moment he considered spreading his limbs out and making sand angel...

"CALLING ALL OF ATHALIA. PLEASE REPORT TO THE LOUNGE AREA FOR A MANDATORY MEETING!"

His ears pricked as Maria's voice rang out across the beach, though he knew the direction it had had come from he couldn't tell where she was yelling from, he could only assume she was already by the lounge. "Mandatory meeting...?" He sighed heavily. "If demons are attacking the island I swear...I'll...I'll do something drastic!" He decided, nodding to himself. What like threaten them with a deadly frying pan? Crash shook his head at his own thought begrudgingly pulling himself onto his feet he took a deep breath and made his way towards the lounge, forcing himself back into his protective cheery disposition, besides he had a great many reasons to smile at this moment in time. It only took him a while to reach the main building, by then he was his old self he strode through the front doors glancing around he saw Maria perched by the bar and a scattering of students already here. Two of which he'd never seen before and one of which he knew her name but hadn't spoken to her yet. He couldn't see Carmen or Kathy among them, thinking he should probably attempt to make more friends, he was still thinking this as he took a step sideways without looking where he was going walking straight into a cabinet holding a vase.

Shock entered his expression as he realized what he'd done, lurching towards the falling vase he grabbed at it. Engaging the inanimate device in a desperate battle of wills, his will to keep it from smashing and the vase's will to end its non-existent life. Not today! Crash thought valiantly as he juggled the vase in the air his foot caught the cabinet before it could hit the floor, the vase persisted in dancing about at the tips of his fingers as he leant forward breathing a sigh of relief as he was finally able to secure the vase in his hands. Of course now he looked like the worlds most ungraceful ballet dancer, with one foot on the ground to support him, the other raised with the toe of his sneakers pressed against the block of wood that held the vase and both of his arms outstretched in front of him gripping the plain vase as if it were holy grail. If nobody saw him enter earlier they were probably aware of his presence now...

Luckily for him he didn't feel embarrassed in the slightest around everyone here, he simply retracted his arms, carefully pushing the wooden block upright before he replaced the vase and exhaled a sigh of relief. Bowing to anyone who felt the need to comment on his performance before he retreated to the edge of the bar to join Mercy who was perched at the other end. "Smooth moves, though don't hold your breath if you're going for gold" Mercy commented giggling as Crash merely poked his tongue out at her childishly.

- Little Feather -

Little Feather was snuggled up against Lion's side in the common area of her shared beach hut, she had her flute in her hands and was playing the white beast at her back a relaxing tune. Lion purred his appreciation as he lay with his head against the cool ground with his eyes closed, his tail flicked lazily across the floor. Do you have a roommate here? Lion grumbled to the young Lakota by his side. Little Feather lowered her flute, glancing around curiously well there were bags by the door so she could only assume so. "I think so...but you know everyone would have been busy over the last few hours" She answered the beast, turning and snuggling into his side, she had changed back into her traditional native american clothing, though she had decided to put on a smaller feathered headband instead of her usual extravagant headdress...it was too warm for that. I'm glad we left that boomstick place...it was getting a bit hairy in there don't you think? Lion growled, tucking one of his paws underneath his chest leaving the other outstretched,

"They're called 'Guns' I think" Little Feather told him, his ears flicked back and he snorted loudly. I don't care, I think Boomsticks is a perfectly good name for them! More to the point than 'guns' He rumbled his mane puffing in agitation, causing Little Feather to giggle into her hand. "Alright grumpy, cool your whiskers...what say you and me go for a walk through the forest. I'm sure we've barely seen any of this island. I reckon the better views are beyond the forest" She offered, getting to her feet and tugging at the white lion's ear. I suppose we could He purred, giving in and pulling himself upright he shook his coat out and followed her to the door. Once they were outside the beast lifted his muzzle to the night air inhaling deeply.

"CALLING ALL OF ATHALIA. PLEASE REPORT TO THE LOUNGE AREA FOR A MANDATORY MEETING!"

Lion's ears pricked towards Maria's voice, tilting his head to the side. What does mandatory mean? He grumbled to the Lakota woman as she reached over to scratch him behind his ears. "...I'm not sure, but it must be something to do with lounge, perhaps its a game!" She grinned at him, though he didn't look convinced. Little Feather hopped up onto his back despite his bad tempered grumble. "Hey what happened to wanting to be a valiant steed?" She asked him, her lip twitching up in mirth. Valiant steeds are not generally used as transportation from one place to the other Lion rumbled his reply, though he set off towards the lounge regardless. It was a short stroll and before long the pair arrived at the large building, Little Feather slid off of Lion's back, threading her fingers through his mane as they walked into the lounge area she quickly scanned the room looking out for people she knew though she didn't recognize two of the male students she did recognize Dani and Liam, she could also see Mercy and Crash on the other side of the bar. Lion gave the new blue haired student a wary look his nose twitching before he ushered Little Feather towards the boy sat in chairs. "Hey Dani! Mind if we join you?" Little Feather asked the pair cheerfully.

- Derek Keelan - The Blind Dragon -

The young dragon couldn’t express his relief upon ‘seeing’ sandy shores ahead of him, the moonlight reflected off of his forest green hide, sending dazzling flickers of color across the calm surface of the ocean. The gentle beat of his large leathery wings caused small spirals of water to dance across the waters dark surface, his muscular tail drooped down beneath him, the tip sliced through the water creating a constant hum of sound as the water was forced apart briefly before meeting in a clash behind the trailing appendage. On an island of all the places The dragon complained to himself, blowing a huff of smoke through his nostrils as he stretched his long neck forward. He reached forward with his forelimbs allowing his sharp talon like claws to skim the top of the ocean, black glass like eyes reflecting tendrils and spheres of light as he tried to map out the land before him. His slender ears pricked up as he tried to locate any other signs of life...of sound along the beach.

So quiet, I thought students would be loud....and obnoxious little-....why am I here? The dragon grumbled low in his throat, noting that he wasn’t far from the sand he absorbed as much of the scenery as he could before lifting himself high into the air with an almighty beat of his wings, causing a plethora of waves to crash against the shore throwing reassuring flashes of light into his eternally dark world. He grabbed them bending them skill fully around the cabins on the hill as he passed overhead circling the gabble of buildings for a moment before veering off towards the larger building. That must be where the Principal wanted to meet me... Derek thought to himself, catching slithers of light swirling around the large shape, he could just make out a way in from this height.

However the dragon suddenly veered off to towards the forest, intrigued by another source of light he passed over a moving sea of waving shadows before he came across the colourful distraction, he inhaled with a hum breathing in the fresh scent of spring water, usingthe steady hum of a small waterfall he manipulated the bright fuchsia pink and cornflour blue waves to give himself a clearer picture of the Waterfall alcove he had found.

He swooped down, into the small pool connecting the two waterfalls hovering above the water, the light caused by repetitive purr of the rapids seemed to delicately curved around the open top cavern, with a thrum of his vocal chords the dragon reached down to grip his small shoulder bag between his ivory fangs lifting it back into the air he allowed his body to sink into the pleasantly cool liquid beneath him, folding his wings into his body he pulled himself over to a try platform just tucked out of sight on the right hand side of the alcove. He pulled himself out of the water, his sleek scales glowing faintly in the dark, though the dragon himself knew it would be more difficult for him to tell the difference between night and day here, usually he depended on the sound levels when it was quiet it was night, when it was day everything was loud.

Derek shrunk back into his form dropping his small bag onto the warm stone beneath his feet, he ran a hand through his sandy golden hair before reaching down to unzip the bag. This cavern was a bit large for his liking but he had decided it was as better place as any to call his den. They wouldn’t expect me to stay in a building would they...? How many years has it been since I last slept in my human form... The dragon mused to himself as he pulled on a pair of jeans and placed his feet in a pair of white sneakers, he didn’t know what ‘brand’ they were he just knew the guy they belonged to had the same shoe size as him. Grabbing the stripy shirt out of the bag, he turned away moving over to the edge of the platform he crouched low to the ground before leaping up into the air, his wings bursting free of his shoulder blades in a flurry of blood and sinew, he winced at the initial pain but quickly composed himself as he soared back out of the cave.

His eyes were drawn to the lights surrounding the water, before he took off shooting across the vast sea of darkness he was flying blind until he was able zone in on the weaker lights surrounding the buildings, focusing on the largest building he tucked his wings around his body and dove towards the ground, waiting until he was a meter away before he snapped his wings out, flapping them once hard he landed gently on the ground. “Perfect landing” He murmured to himself as a smug smile tugged at the corner of his lips. He strode towards the building in front of him, naturally wrapping the meager excuse of light around his surroundings as he moved his wings retracted back into his shoulder blades, with minor discomfort as he reached the doors before him, he fiddled with the striped shirt in his hands for a moment, cursing the quiet environment as he pulled it over his head agitated by the fact he couldn’t tell if it was on back to front or not. He’d been asked to meet the Principal here for his orientation before he could be settled into the...academy.

Smoothing down his shirt he carefully made his way through the doors, walking confidently into the bar he slid one hand into his pocket, the constant hum of music in the background created a perfect amount of light in the room, meaning Derek was able to ‘see’ every shape the bar had to offer. He noted there actually seemed to be quite a few human shapes here; huffing to himself he approached the woman at the bar. “Excuse me...I’m looking for Maria Cross, I’m supposed to be meeting her here.” He politely asked his accent was undoubtedly British and although he hadn’t asked a question he was under the impression his sentence hinted that he would have liked to be directed towards her.
- Mercy -

Mercy caught the brief lopsided smile if she hadn’t already had color to her face she was sure she would have after that, at least her embarrassment had caused amusement and not scorn. She caught the slight sleepy rasp to the other woman’s voice; it caused her to wonder just how hard the last few weeks must have been on her. “That’s good to hear” Mercy commented with a warm smile to accompany it, though her expression shifted to embarrassment upon Chris’s next comment. “No, no its OK, you didn’t scare me. I was just surprised and to be honest with you it’ll take a lot more than sneaking up on me to freak me out” She assured Chris with a broad smile. Although she’d probably need CPR if that dark man from the attic snuck up on her, her heart would probably just stop beating.

As soon as Chris shifted her attention to fidgeting Pinto, Mercy lifted a hand to her cheeks as subtly as she could in an attempt to cool it down beneath her cool fingertips, the smile fading from her face as she dropped her gaze momentarily to her other hand which was still tucked inside the strap of the body brush before lifting it again to watch the gelding’s antics. She nodded her head in agreement with the murmured comment, glancing at the other woman as she took a step towards the curious Pinto; she felt her mouth twitch up into another small smile as Bandit retracted his head curving his muscular neck so he could push his face against Chris's hand. She continued to run the brush over his withers and shoulder flicking the dust from his colored coat as she watched the exchange. Bandit focused one of his slender ears on Chris as she spoke, audibly inhaling before blowing the air back out of his nose softly.

Luckily Mercy had just shifted her gaze from Chris to Bandit as the dark haired woman chanced a glance at her, her eyebrow lifted ever so slightly at the Pinto who was trying desperately to get Chris to scratch his forehead now. “Hmm?” The blonde hummed in response to Chris's questions. “Oh! He’s called Bandit I believe” She answered smiling apologetically. “Yup, he’s a boy...the other ones a girl, Comet. She’s just over there” She continued lifting herself up onto her tiptoes so she could point over Bandit’s withers to the buckskin colored horse stood in the stall behind him, who was visible for Chris to see under the curve of the Pinto’s neck. "They're both in pretty good condition considering, well you know" Mercy commented as she ran her fingers through the small tail of mane resting across the gelding's withers.

Bandit had positioned himself across the front of Comet's stall during his attempt to reach Chris not that the other horse seemed overly bothered, in fact Comet seemed completely disinterested in everything happening outside of her stall, she was far too busy stuffing as much hay into her mouth as she could manage. “Have you been around horses much before?” Mercy asked in a light tone as if she were attempting to spark up conversation, it had been such a long time since she’d had the chance to just talk to anyone other than Tamashii. “You seem really comfortable around them” Mercy observed looking from Chris to the Pinto before taking a step towards his flank to run the brush across his coat there, in fairness he looked as if he just needed a good bath. Whilst awaiting Chris’s response a thought flickered across Mercy’s mind. “I’m Mercy by the way...sorry I completely forgot to introduce myself the other day after you...” She trailed off having decided that bringing up the store probably wasn’t a great way to promote conversation.
Fox, loved your post :P Officially the first mention of CatDog IC? xD
- Beast -

Beast was glad he had bumped into at least one happy camper today, though he had been perfectly polite he felt himself shift from one paw to the other nervously as he spoke to Kir. He'd done really well at talking to the alpha's normally...even if they weren't very happy with him this morning. "Good morning Puff" He greeted the young Jigglypuff with a soft hum before he glanced shyly back at Kir. "I can't complain...though I really do need to round up the rest of the cubs before-" Before he could finish his sentence he heard Akira's angry cry for Luke. "-trouble" He sighed, lowering his head as he puffed out a cloud of air. Having turned to nose Amara affectionately he watched her suck air into her lungs, automatically knowing to close his eyes he braced himself for the inevitable blow dry as she buffeted him with it, successfully blasting all of the water from his thick coat but causing his hair to go 'poof' leaving him looking like a Mareep.

He blinked in surprise chuckling at his predicament before he gave his coat a quick shake flattening most of it except for his wayward mane, he glanced down at Kir as she tried to talk to Amara, unsurprisingly she didn't respond instead she hopped up onto his back and hid herself in his thick mane. "Don't take it to heart Kir...I'm sure she'll talk when she's ready" Beast reassured the other pokemon, though he avoided her eye as he spoke. He glanced to his left noting that Luke had gone over to deal with Bam-bam I'm not sure I like being right... He thought to himself, he was contemplating moving over to the group when he heard another familiar voice. "Good morning Oscar!" Beast hummed in greeting offering the small Staravia a toothy grin. "How are you doing this morning?" He asked the other pokemon tilting his head to the side as one of his ears focused on the alphas. His eyes flickered around the village quickly trying to pinpoint Rin's where abouts. He knew the little Poocheyna had been here, his scent trail was still evident in the air he was a little worried that he couldn't see him. He couldn't deal with another cub angering the alpha and his mate today...

- Bam-bam-

Bam-bam was barely able to contain a giggle as her bone connected with Akira's face, though she felt her shoulders sag forward as Akira near enough told on her. Spoil-sport She thought to herself, she hadn't meant to throw her bone at the Ninetails face, it had just slipped free of her fingers. She clasped her paws in front of her as Luke slid over towards them, casting her gaze to the floor she came over all bashful though most of her expression was lost beneath the skull she wore atop her head. She peered up at him with large innocent brown eyes as he slid over to her. "Yes..." She murmured in a small voice, scuffing her foot against the dirt. She wrinkled her nose beneath her skull at the idea of apologizing for her helpful deeds.

Ok so hitting Akira in the face hadn't been helpful...funny but not helpful. She looked at Luke's stern expression and sighed in defeat. "I'm very sorry Akira" She apologized to the Ninetails looking up at the alpha for his approval. Though as soon as he so much as glanced away she stuck her fingers in her mouth and pulled a face at Akira, coupling the wide open mouth with crossed eyes. If Luke looked back she quickly changed her expression shifting her hands to the nose of the skull as if she were adjusting it.
CatDog interacting with Tony should happen :P (Obviously only if you wanted it too ^^') Could be interesting to see the pair interact with someone else >.> Tony may want to take his broom for protection though? xD
- Mercy -

The quick movement at the edge of the barn caused Bandit to lift his head, his ears pricking forward as he studied the entrance to the barn for a moment longer before returning his full attention to the hay in front of him, stamping one of his back feet and swishing his tail. Mercy was trying to decide what she wanted to hum along to next, she had made it to Bandit's flanks by the time Chris decided to edge into the barn. The Pinto immediately turned his head towards her watching her with wide eyes and pricked ears as she approached them, he puffed air through his nostrils before merely watching. Mercy was about to question him on his behavior when Chris's words reached her ears, she jolted in surprise turning to face the other woman hastily her cheeks flushing with embarrassment. Oh god! How long has she been stood there?

She gingerly tucked her hair behind her ear, pulling a warm smile onto her face she admitted. "I didn't think anyone was listening..." glancing at Bandit as he shifted round to be more inquisitive of Chris. "...but you're welcome" She murmured to the dark haired woman biting her lip and hoping the color in her cheeks had begun to seep away as she took a step forward and ran the brush along Bandit's neck. "How are you feeling now?" She inquired trying to keep concern from crossing her face but she wasn't the best at hiding things, she remembered she hadn't seen Chris the day before, she was sure Tony had mentioned that she was resting.

She waited patiently for a response from Chris however Bandit had decided he also wanted her attention as he stretched his head towards her straining on his lead rope as he did, though he couldn't reach, his next move was to turn his head practically on its side and stretch it towards her that way. Mercy breathed a small laugh at the horses antics, it was horse logic that this simple action extended their reach. "Sorry, he's pretty harmless just way to curious for his own good from what I can gather" She apologized though she wasn't really accountable for his actions. .

- Tamashii -

Tamashii had been rather beneficial when it came to clearing out the house, she wasn't exactly squeamish and unlike Mercy she was pretty capable at lifting and shoving things about. She'd volunteered to help reinforce the fence and had even successfully kept her temper under control...well until the evening when she may have been a little harsh on Mercy, her outburst was justified though she didn't want to take any risks. Just like now, she knew at this moment they were safe...but she was still prepared to move again at the drop of a pin, she hadn't allowed Mercy to empty her bag preferring to keep them travel ready. After mostly everyone had gone to bed, she had found her way to the shower...it was funny how something like showering used to be taken for granted before this, just the feel of the water was blissful rubbing away the muck and grime from her aching body had taken a while but she hadn't minded. She'd been suffering from Insomnia for a while now, her body was almost convinced she didn't need sleep to function, Soon after showering she had forced herself to try and sleep...finding it was surprisingly easy with the threat of those creatures being less imminent.

- Day 2 -

Tamashii had stirred at the sound of Mercy moving around the room, she already had an idea of where her companion was headed for...she hadn't felt the need to follow her, though she felt a peculiar feeling of dread ebb into her stomach she couldn't follow her friend everywhere she went so she forced herself to enjoy the comfort of her borrowed bed whilst she still could. You should get up... She told herself, though she merely pulled the cover over her head, remaining stoically where she was. She heard Remy begin to move about which made her feel guilty for remaining where she was but...

She'd actually managed to slide back into an uneasy sleep whilst Remy was out of the room, she didn't even hear him come back in. She did however hear him on his way out, the sound the duffell bag made as his foot connected with it, brought her back into reality with an almighty jolt and a severe overreaction as she went to throw herself onto her feet, forgetting she was wrapped in covers she ended up flailing about for a moment before she fell backwards off of her bed with a small squeak of surprise, she landed in a rather undignified heap on the floor. Pushing the cover off of her in a huff she threw Remy a withering look as she ran her hand into her messy hair. "Jesus, Remy" She grumbled, taking a deep breath and closing her eyes for a moment before she got to her feet reaching for the fresh pair of jeans she had rested on a chair beside the bed. Not fazed by her state of undress, she had worn a large men's shirt to bed the night before after being unable to get comfortable in jeans, besides she figured he'd look away if he found it uncomfortable.

"I wouldn't be surprised if you woke everyone up with your clumsy feet" She chastised him, using it as an opportunity to vent her frustration over the embarrassing moment she had just had. she turned her back to him, to unbutton the night shirt. "Where are you headed anyway?" She asked curiously, quickly pulling on a navy short sleeved V neck t-shirt, she ducked down beside her bed pulling out her holster and securing it around her waist before searching around for a hairbrush. "I'll come with you" She decided before he could answer her, finding the brush she quickly raked it through her hair before coming to stand by him.
