Mhmm I'll have to write something up... But still exhausted.

Not meaning to repeat teapotshark's comment but take all the time you need, don't push yourself if you're still feeling exhausted ^^'

Rather intrigued to see how well Tony's 'investigations' go :P
'Fury is my choice...not a sickness'

Name: Xena
Real Name: Serena Carson
Age: 25
Position: Newbie
Occupation (If Any): None at the moment

Appearance:

*Note: Her eye color is unnatural among humans but known as the Alexandria Genesis, which is a human genetic mutation she was tested for mutant DNA as a baby and was due to be tested when she reached maturity, however she was a late bloomer and managed to slip through the cracks. She has worn different color contact lenses over the years to help keep herself hidden.

Tattoos & Piercings: Xena has several piercings on her right ear, a scaffolding bar across the top of her ear, with two rings about halfway down, both of her lobes are pierced, she tends to wear a dragon ear wrap on her left ear with a small cuff ear stud in her right. Apart from that she has the left side of her lip pierced with a ring and a bar through her tongue.

She has the Japanese kanji for peace on the back of her neck and a howling wolf on her right bicep.

Personality Traits: Xena is a real firecracker, she has a rebellious streak and isn’t keen on beating things around the bush. She can be brutally honest and direct, often showing little concern over the tenderness of others feelings. She is a confident character though she can come across as a little pig-headed at times.

Selfish, unlike many of the other mutants Xena wouldn't selflessly defend another of her kind. Even though she tends to be a risk taker, when it comes to putting herself at risk for the sake of others she tends to choke. She doesn't ask for help believing that 'her problems are her responsibility' and that she can only remain strong if she deals with everything on her own. Alongside this she believes that only the strong should survive and doesn't like the idea of dragging the weak along with them, this can cause her to appear heartless.

As rough as she is around the edges she isn't an introverted person. Sarcasm is her first language and she uses it mercilessly, housing a unique sense of humor she'll often say things that nine times out of ten only entertain her rather than the people around her. Always looking for a way to cause trouble.

She's very resourceful and is a natural problem solver when she wants to be, she has a knack for finding a way even when there doesn't appear to be one. She's also pretty good at finding loopholes in conversations so she isn't tricked or railroaded into anything she doesn't want to do or admit. The reason she does this is because she doesn't trust anyone, usually she'll be pretty upfront with people and tell them, but even after she gets to know someone she instinctively expects them to either double cross her or abandon her at some point so she keeps her guard up.

Xena will become particularly confrontational when she feels threatened or anxious and will adopt a rather stand offish persona. She doesn't tend to talk about her emotions and rarely registers them, the only one that she can't keep bottled up inside is her anger.

Abilities: Neon gas manipulation - can create, shape and manipulate neon, a colorless, odorless, inert monatomic gas under standard conditions, but when under low pressure glows a bright bluish purple if an electric current is passed through it.

Aerokinetic combat with neon - Neon lights surround her hands, lower arms, lower legs and feet giving her physical attacks a power boost.

Air Dashing using neon - The user is capable of performing short "dashes" in mid-air, allowing increased speed and even changing direction in mid-jump.

Aerokinetic constructs using neon - Can turn neon gas into tools, objects, weapons and other items.

*Note: In order to utilize her powers Xena has to engage her anger, from then on it becomes a fierce battle of will. If she allows herself to become too worked up she loses any tactical advantage she may have and becomes as useful as a tank without a driver. The more ticked off she gets the more unpredictable her powers become, meaning she could potentially harm her allies unless calmed down. (This can be registered by how bright her eyes glow when she uses her power)

Skills: Free Running - With or without the use of her powers Xena can traverse near enough any type of terrain at an admirable speed, she is particularly adept at traversing cities. She has good muscle definition and a high fitness level so she is capable of pulling off impressive acrobatic feats...even before she's thought about using her mutant ability.

Hand-to-hand combatant - Xena excels in this field though she doesn't always play by the books, over the years she has picked up her skills from various street thugs and even a few classes here and there. What makes her deadly is her ability to mix and match her fighting styles, she's also not afraid to fight dirty.

Weaponry - Though she can use firearms she doesn't like them and isn't a very good shot. She tends to stick to melee weapons, favoring throwing knives which she hides in her clothes, she always has a blade on her somewhere.

Biography: Serena was 10 when the H.U.A was formed and began rounding up the mutants, her mother died during childbirth leaving her and her older sister in the capable hands of their single father. The first 10 years of the conflict barely effected her mortal family and due to Viola's insistence that her younger sister steer clear of it, Serena didn't become involved even when her powers manifested. Serena's powers manifested some time after she turned 15 due to a careless action, after arguing with her sister she ran into the path of an oncoming car, before the car made contact with her she lurched forward in a blaze of neon light. Everyone on the street saw her but Viola was the first person to reach her, both sisters disappeared that day breaking their father's heart and narrowly escaping the government.

Serena changed her name and her appearance drastically but it wasn't enough to keep her hidden. To cover this Viola also went through some changes in order to protect her younger sister, she took on the persona of a man and became involved in shady business with human street gangs. Xena was generally kept out of her sisters dealings to begin with, staying locked away so she could learn to control her powers which took her well into her 16th year of age. Over time she wormed her way into pushing statistics and handling clients for some of her sisters contacts whilst Viola now known as Vincent ran the streets. When the rioting begun Vincent and Xena took to the ground and kept a very low profile, eventually forced to emerge again they went back to their previous life style, however this time Xena was on the frontline along with her brother. Over the last few years the pair have worked as footmen for a couple of gangs, they chose them very carefully only going for ones that were simply out for themselves, scavenging the spoils of war whilst tactfully avoiding it, this became increasingly difficult as the conflict between the factions escalated.

Everything changed when trouble was brought to Xena's door, though Vincent had spent his entire life protecting his sister he ultimately ended up being her downfall. He had secretly been filtering off extra weapons and supplies and sending them to the mutant resistance, it was a small harmless deal to begin with. The gangs didn't notice if a few things went missing here and there in the beginning but after years of warfare the gangs became more protective of their supplies and Vincent was caught out. He tried to get away but the problem followed him back to Xena, pushing the pair into an impossible situation which resulted in Xena having a minor meltdown and using her powers to help them escape.

Knowing that is was only a matter of time before his sister was found, Vincent reached out to his most trusted associates in hope of finding help. Having helped The Pit many times in the past by scoring them weapons or supplies in general Vincent came clean with them about Xena and asked if they could take her in.

Other: Despite her negative view on sentimental items Xena has her mothers engagement ring, it was given to her by her older sister as it is the only thing she has to remember her mother by. She keeps it on a chain and on her person at all times hidden beneath her clothes.

Xena claims to be fearless but she's secretly phobic of snakes and small/tight spaces.

Calling her a 'Warrior Princess' has a 50/50 chance of being accepted as a joke or earning the promise of bodily harm.

Hey Vicier, really like this idea ^^ Is there any chance you've still got room for one more?
Thanks T.P ^^ And thank you for getting a post up :D Was an enjoyable read ^^

I wonder what the valuable asset is? :o

The fuel station? :S Bulldog thinks it's a good area to keep <.< And something valuable to him was left there the last time his people scouted it out xD I'm not implying anything about the box Kaylah found if that's what you're asking ^^' Wouldn't want to poach your idea <.<
Hey all ^^ And a belated Welcome back teapotshark and Rarity!

Firstly sorry I was gone for so long :/ Redoing an entire 5 week project in a week with extra assignments coming in was rather time consuming ^^' Haven't come back empty handed a least, excuse the lack of content in that last post :/ It'll pick up ^^

I'd love to get in on this again if y'all are still around.

I'm with Fox on this ^^ Would be awesome to have you back with us :D You can jump back in whenever you'd like to ^^

Sorry to hear you've been so unwell @Rarity, really hope you feel better soon! Take it easy, if you want to jump back on then feel free to! Please don't feel pressurized into doing so though ^^' It's great to have you back all the same :)

Just thought I'd mention, finally got a little laptop thing to use and things in general have quietened down so I should be able to be a lot more active from now on again, touch wood ^^'
Farm House

- Mercy -

Mercy felt discomfort settle in her stomach as Cat answered her question, the last part was what troubled her the most as she wondered how many died by Cat's hands...she wasn't entirely sure she even wanted to know."You sound like you only saw the worst of it..." she commented quietly "Not everyone lost it, as fast as people were coming apart others were coming together..." she trailed off rather than continuing on with her sentence, realising halfway through Cat probably wouldn't acknowledge her attempt to point out the meek selection of 'good' things that had happened "...never mind...".

She had been expecting more of a reaction from Cat, so she was silently grateful when he simply questioned her motives in a calm manner. Though the cold reality that accompanied his words caused her heart to thump a little harder in her chest, strangely enough she could deal with the inevitable loss of the group but the idea of them dying was...painful. "To some extent that situation is inevitable, I doubt I'll be in this group for long but I don't know what I'd do if that circumstance occured" Mercy didn't stutter when she answered him this time, though she seemed uncomfortable with what he had said, she hadn't been in that kind of situation before...she'd always been a leaning post for the people around her. Even though people rarely leant on her for long there was always someone else to fill the gap for some reason. If your reason's taken away it'll be replaced with something else...these things have a strange way of working themselves out She shakily assured herself in the short time between answering his question and asking another of her own.

The blonde thought over Cat's swift answer to her returned question, she wasn't sure whether his answer was simply terrifying or strangely philosophical. She concluded that it was probably a bit of both considering Cat's nature, she pondered this some more as she set about clearing her medical supplies away. "What about Dog? Doesn't he influence your reason at all?" She asked cautiously, she wasn't sure how the two had stayed together, in the brief time she'd known them she had made the assumption that the pair appeared to be polar opposites.

When her probing question didn't receive a lightning fast response as the others had she thought she'd gone to far with him, she pulled her first aid kit onto her lap and reached over to scoop up the needle and wipes. She was about to make her excuses and leave when Cat's cold voice split the air, inadvertently making her physically flinch in surprise. Punishment? Her brow furrowed into a frown as she listened to the rest of Cat's answer, trying to hide the naïve horror she felt about what she had heard. It was naïve to believe that the people that had done such a thing to Cat didn't exist in the old world or the new one for that instance, she sat in silence for a few moments before the hand clutching her first aid kit moved up to grasp her necklace.

Mercy's previous confidence abandoned her and she nervously dropped her gaze to her lap. "I...see" She responded in a small voice, what she failed to say was that she didn't agree with what he'd either been told or concluded himself. She didn't expect such a small answer would assure him she understood but on some level deep down she did. She watched him flex his arm noting that his movement didn't seem hindered by her handiwork, her eyebrows rose marginally as she received a gruff 'thank you' she hadn't expected it at all. "You're welcome" She murmured, as she grabbed her first aid kit again and slowly got to her feet, without a solid reason to stay any longer she figured it was time for her to retreat from his company. "Well...if there is nothing else I'll...erm...leave you to it then" She decided taking a few hesitant steps towards the door, if he didn't say anything she would have slid out of the room closing the door behind her and hurried back to her own room, if he did she compliantly remained where she was to hear him out.

Fuel Run

-Bulldog, Hank, Shade and Guy.-

-En route to Fuel Run location-

"Bang! That's 4" Hank shouted as he decapitated one of the shambling corpses that lurched at the 4x4 as it shot down the street. The burly man was happily entertaining himself by hanging out of one of the back windows of the vehicle and whacking any of the zombie like creatures within his reach. He didn't seem concerned for his personal safety at all, in fact he rather enjoyed the mindless violence as he drove the back of his axe down towards another unsuspecting creature. He was met with a satisfying squelch as his weapon came into contact with the zombies skull, it was a hefty blow that sent the horrid creature face first into the tarmac. "Ha! Make that 5!" He chuckled happily pounding his chest with his fist proudly as if he'd won a competition...unfortunately for Hank the other 3 men in the truck didn't appear the slightest bit interested in what he was doing.

On the other side of the back seat his silent companion shook his head, allowing disapproval to seep into his expression, his brow furrowed as his sharp hazel eyes inspected the desolate buildings as they passed them. They could have been hiding anything behind their lifeless grey walls, supplies, survivors or other monsters. Shade leant his elbows on his knees and clasped his hands together, resting his knuckles against his mouth and grinding his teeth as Hank released another noisy cheer.

"Hank could you cut it out?! I think they can hear you in California" The driver barked into the back of the car as he swerved to avoid a trio of the flesh eaters. Guy released a shaky breath as he swung back into the center of the road, daring a quick glance over his shoulder as Hank begrudgingly pulled himself back into the truck. "Thank you..." Guy murmured, squeezing the steering wheel nervously, he was holding it so tight that his knuckles had turned white under the pressure. "Relax Guy, not only is this the last stop, it's the easiest stop. No-one has stumbled across it since it was abandoned...not even sure why we're still going there" Hank reached forward and roughly patted the nervous man's shoulder.

"There are two reasons why" The gentleman in the passenger seat finally spoke up. Jeff Anderson was a simple guy, he liked simple things and simple situations. However the situation he found himself in now was far from simple, even as he rested back against the comfortable passenger seat of his 4x4 with a pen in his hand and a crossword in his lap he couldn't find solace. "Reason 1, some idiot left something of mine here the last time we were here" He tapped his pen against the page of his crossword book as the color drained from Guy's cheeks. "Reason 2, I still think it's a valuable asset" he stated simply as his lip curled up into a smirk "Reason enough for you?" Hank nodded his head and murmured "Yeah" The man in the passenger seat seemed satisfied with his henchman's answer and returned to his crossword. "Hmm...7 across...medium-sized, heavy dog with a wrinkled face and a distinctive pushed-in nose commonly referred to as a British-" the man murmured, realisation flickered across his face but before he could say the answer aloud he was rudely interrupted. "-Bulldog, we've got a problem" Guy interrupted as the car ground to a halt a few clicks away from a small herd of zombies wandering around the gateway between the city and the deserted petrol station.

Bulldog looked up from his crossword to inspect the street in front of them, he blew a puff of air through his nose before he glanced over his shoulder at the silent man in the back seat. "Shade, scout it out. If the traps empty retrieve my item and return to us" He instructed with a wave of his hand. Shade nodded his head before he quietly opened the door and slid from the car moving around behind it he reached over the back of the truck to retrieve his weapon before he disappeared down one of the dark side alleys. "What do we do if he doesn't come back?" Guy asked, glancing sideways at Bulldog who had returned to his puzzle. "He'll be back" He assured his follower without taking his eyes off of his crossword. "What's the plan if we've caught a live one?" Hank piped up, leaning forward between the two front seats, Bulldog sighed and looked at the pair of them. "We introduce ourselves, it'd be rude not to" He stated with an amused smile.

-Meanwhile-

- Tamashii -

Tamashii looked at Dog as he replied before Kaylah gave them an in depth account of what she was holding, the brunette narrowed her eyes marginally as she examined the box in Kaylah's hands from afar. She wasn't entirely convinced that the small contraption was capable of doing any of them harm but she did agree that attempting to open it where they were was too much of a risk...besides they had things to be doing. "Well either way, opening it later would probably be wise...we've got to stuff to get done right now anyway" She piped up just before she asked for the pairs insight on their surroundings.

Hearing Dog's answer Tamashii lifted her hand to her forehead before running it over her hair to rest on the back of her neck as she glanced around. She hadn't thought of it being a safe zone, the cars were spread about but there wasn't anything structurally sound about the area, except for a few man made barriers here and there. Perhaps it had been a safe zone in the beginning, a fuel depot at the entrance to a city the area could have been used to filter traffic in and out but after a while somewhere like this should have been overrun with those rotting creatures...unless... "Safe zone...they could be keeping this area fairly clear and these cars full of gas in case they need a quick exit..." Tamashii mused, though it seemed too logical to ignore, she was a cynic and felt herself leaning more towards the idea that the entire thing was a set up. Keeping her thoughts to herself she turned to listen to what Kaylah had to say.

Her eyes narrowed as she heard the change in Kaylah's breathing, though she didn't mention it anything as she waited for the other woman to compose herself enough to continue on. "If we can get what we need here, I see no reason why we should carry on. The sooner we get back to the farm the better" She murmured folding her arms across her chest defensively as she looked over at the building again. She wasn't happy with Kaylah's suggestion to take Dog, had the woman in blue not seemed so anxious she wouldn't have batted an eyelash. She watched Kaylah move away from them to another car to begin siphoning off whatever fuel it had left, after a moment she shook her head and looked back at Dog. "You can come if you want or you can stay and keep an eye on her" She shrugged at him before simply turning away from the pair and carefully making her way over to the run down building.

What she failed to notice as she carefully approached the door on the right hand side of the building was the darkened outline of a man in one of the window panels on the far left of the building, the shadow was only there for a brief moment and could have easily passed as a figment of ones imagination. Whether Dog had accompanied her or not, Tamashii was extremely careful as she opened the door to the building, she had a hammer in her right hand with her side pressed against the wall next to the door as she reached over with her left hand. "Ok...here goes" She murmured to herself before she attempted to gently pull the handle down, her suspicion surfaced again as the door clicked open without an ounce of resistance. Whether she had company or was alone she went in first, checking the area was clear before either signalling for her companion to follow her inside or reappearing in the doorway to let the others know she was still ok before she disappeared inside again.
Sounds like a plan on the idea front ^^' I apologize for the delay in posting! It was near enough done...but my computer died on me over the weekend and I'm not sure how long it will be until I can get it back D: Kind of lost my post and most of the documents associated with it in the process T_T along with a lot of college work that is due in this week...going to have to ask you both if you woudn't mind bearing with me whilst I try and get everything back together :( I'll try and get it re-written asap >.< Really sorry to hold you up again :(
^^' Sorry my bad! I think the ideas were discussed like 4 months ago o.o Discussion started on page 30. Though we did have a few more characters about when we talked about it ^^' Perhaps we could throw around some new ideas or improvise on what was planned?
I don't remember what I was going to do with her so I had to make something up hoping I would remember but it seems the idea is gone.
MistressCyanide
Ah, well I'm sure the idea will either come back eventually or you'll get a new one :) Your post was great ^^ (As was Silver Fox's of course) I'm rather intrigued by this peculiar box Kaylah has found <.< looking forward to learning more about it ^^ Should we do another round of posting? I haven't heard anything from Rarity for a while now :S don't mind either continuing with the previous plan or waiting for a bit, depends what both of you want to do? Not sure how well the farm idea will work with only two active characters being there <.<' may be able to work something out...
– Farmhouse - – Mercy – It was definitely a good thing that Mercy had no idea what was going through Cat’s mind or her heart may have given out due to fear. Though she hadn’t been very good at hiding her fear upon entering the room she had managed to gain a little more self control since she had started tending to his injuries, though she wasn’t very good at hiding her emotions. So it was easy to see that she felt uneasy when he didn’t even flinch as she cleaned up the wound, she had been around people with a high pain tolerance before but Cat didn’t even appear to register feeling any pain at all. Mercy cast her gaze down to the floor for a moment as Cat answered her question, she thought over his answer for a few minutes before her brain offered up two probable meaning behind the single word he had used. A) They had been alone since the beginning of this nightmare or B) They had simply always been alone...for some reason she was leaning more towards the b option, mainly because of the story of scars spread across his body. Scars held history whether a person wanted them to or not, most scars had a story behind them, a reason or even a lesson sometimes all three. And although it was easier pretending that people like Cat and Dog didn’t exist, Mercy hadn’t been completely blind to it like most people were...not that she could even begin to imagine what his or Dog’s lives must have been like. As Mercy thought over it she tried to keep herself from expressing her sympathy, after all what use was her sympathy to him anyway, he of all people probably wouldn’t give a rats butt about it...however...foolish as it may have been it wasn’t her not to react in some way “Sorry to hear that...” She murmured uncertainly “Did you not come across any other survivors?” she didn’t want to pry too far into Cat’s history, despite how curious she was so she deliberately angled her question so that it could be taken whatever way Cat wanted. She was grateful when he gave her the go ahead to stitch him up, he seemed like an incredibly hardy person but even so an open wound in this new world was just asking for trouble. She reached down and swiftly went about threading a hooked needle with a line of thread. She fished her swiss army knife out of her pocket, flicking up a small pair of scissors to snip the thread before sliding it into her back pocket. Reaching up she scooped a blonde tendril of hair behind her ear before hovering back over Cat’s arm a look of concentration dominating her expression as she manipulated the wound before she began to stitch it together, creating small and neat stitches as she went. The mechanical repetition of her actions seemed to bring a natural calm to her body as she released some of the tension in her shoulders, allowing her heartbeat to even out with the fluidity of her movements. However as his prying eyes lingered on her face her heart begun to beat faster again as her nerves flared back up. She tried to bury it and concentrate though she inhaled sharply as he spoke, her eyes flickered away from her work briefly as she thought over his question, it was a surprisingly deep question. Or it felt that way to her...she continued stitching as she thought, she didn’t want to keep him waiting but she was struggling to find a viable answer. “My reason for surviving...” she repeated a frown crept across her guarded expression “Is rather simple...though I’m not sure you’ll agree with it...” She drew the needle away from the wound gently tugging the thread into a neat stitch with her other hand before lowering the needle back towards his skin. “For now, I survive because I am needed” She cautiously answered him, her body language changed almost instantly, she subtly leant a little further back and almost braced herself against his reaction for a few moments before continuing on with her actions. She retracted her hands as she finished stitching him up and tied off the loose end, placing the needle on the floor in clear view she used the dried antiseptic wipe to rid the area around his wound of any excess blood that may have leaked out whilst she had been stitching it closed. Once it was clean she wiped her fingertips with it as well, trying not to think about the list of hygiene protocols she had just broken. She was going to need to go in search of something to sterilize the needle and her hands once she was done here. Gloves were protocol but she hadn’t had any at hand so she’d had to do without, as she wiped her hands she dropped her eyes to the floor and cleared her throat before asking the cold man another question. “What is...your reason for surviving?” She asked despite her pause her voice didn’t quiver as it had done before, though she still refused to lift her gaze to his face instead she was reaching for a sheet of gauze and the bandages she had collected. Reaching into the first aid kit she pulled out a tube of savlon and smeared a glob on one side of the dressing. “Should help this heal faster” She murmured before reaching up and attempting to cover the treated wound with the dressing with one of her hands. Provided that Cat allowed her to do so she held the rolled up bandages with her other hand until she was able to begin wrapping them around his arm. Despite her previous attempts to leash her curiosity Mercy’s eyes wandered to Cat’s scarred torso as she finished either binding his arm or placing the unused bandages on the floor. Though she appreciated beauty in both genders she wasn’t so much admiring his physique or rather what was visible of it, she appeared to be attempting to imagine what . She had shuffled closer to his injured arm whilst she had been stitching so she could only really study his chest rather than his back, she seemed particularly puzzled by the x across his heart with its long edges that seemed to stretch across his body. She nervously gripped her left wrist with her right hand, running her thumb across the inked skin on the inside of her wrist as she summoned the courage to ask him about the peculiar scar. Curiosity killed the cat had been her father’s favorite saying. “There you go...I can take those out at a later time. It was a pretty clean cut so I doubt it’ll become infected if you-” Having started her speech in a strong manner, she seemed to remember herself about halfway through and cut herself off before she could issue instructions. In an attempt to distract him from her unfinished sentence she nervously begun to place things back into her first aid kit with one hand carefully keeping the needle and used wipe separated from the rest “H-how did you get this?” she asked after a moment, lifting her free hand she kept it close to her own body but her index finger was pointing at the x shaped scar on his chest. Her heartbeat had increased to an uncomfortable level but she had deliberately delayed asking him such a question until she had finished treating him. That way she hoped that if he didn’t want to answer it, he would simply ignore her and go about his business...she only hoped the questioning wouldn’t anger him, she didn’t have a plan of action to fall back on if it did. –Fuel Run- – Tamashii – Having given the whistle to signal the other two Tamashii had turned her attention to Remy once more, though she visibly grimaced as the short lived sound of metal grating against tarmac reached her ears. It hadn’t been very loud at all but it had sounded loud to her, Tamashii’s hearing was fairly sensitive especially when she herself was on high alert. She cast a glance over her shoulder in search of the cause of the sound though only noticed that both Dog and Kaylah were no longer in her sights unless she stood up. Once she’d finished talking to Remy she quietly backed away from the car they had crouched behind and made her way back towards Dog and Kaylah. She only stayed low for a few moments before she figured she wouldn’t be noticed by the infected anymore, to be honest she wasn’t entirely sure how well those things could even see. She’d often questioned which sense the infected relied on to hunt the living out, from a distance touch was impossible and taste seemed a little far fetched...unless they could taste the scent of human flesh or something. The thought caused a shudder to run the length of her spine as she came towards Kaylah who seemed to have shoved her arm into the back of the car she was collecting fuel from. Tamashii’s thoughts wandered away from their previous occupation and turned back to the situation at hand, wondering whether she should mention her concerns about the area they were in or to keep them to herself. Tamashii came to a standstill next to Kaylah, a thoughtful look occupied her expression as if she were in silent debate with herself. Her eyes travelled from Kaylah to rest on Dog briefly before she looked back over at the trucks where Rena was sat waiting. She opened her mouth to say something when Kaylah’s voice cut her off, she glanced at the women in blue curiously though she didn’t think the question had been aimed at her she used it as an excuse to make her presence known. “I should think you would have to open it to know that” She answered quietly, she had approached the other woman from the side so that she could have seen her. She hadn’t wanted to sneak up on the pair, especially as she knew Kaylah had a gun. “What is it you’re looking at anyway?” She asked Kaylah curiously, she couldn’t even see what the other woman was talking about. She gave her an ample amount of time to reply to her question or shrug it off before she glanced at Dog. Providing that Dog had made his way over to Kaylah, Tamashii addressed both of them when she spoke. “This place looks clean...I mean really clean. There are a few infected over by the entrance to the city but apart from that, there is nothing or rather nobody about” Her voice was steady but her disbelief was apparent in the tone of her voice. “Don’t know about you guys but it feels wrong...all these cars just left here like this. I’m thinking about checking out that building if either of you wanted to join me, I’m doubtful there will be anything there but...” She trailed off shrugging her tensed shoulders. “Remy’s keeping an eye on the infected in case they come any closer” She informed them before breaching a subject she didn’t often “What do you two think about this place?” She asked, finding herself generally curious about their perceptions though she outwardly appeared indifferent. She folded her arms across her chest and turned her back towards the car Kaylah was rooting through. Though her eyes were constantly scanning the area around them searching for tell tale signs of danger, she seemed to be trusting Remy to warn them of any danger should there be any.
