Basics:

Full name: Caleb Waterfront
Nicknames: Crash
Gender: Male
Species/Race: Shapeshifter
Age: 23
Height: 6'2"/1.88 m
Weight: 154 lb./69.85 kg
Hair Color: Fiery Red, tends to jump between wearing it up with a bandanna and down in a messy manner.
Eye Color: Left eye is Crimson. Right eye is milky white as Crash is blind in his right eye, with a nasty looking scar stretching vertically down over his eye he tends to wear a patch to cover it up. (Usually changes the color of his visible eye to Emerald green out of habit)
Skin Color: Lightly tanned
Figure: Lean/Athletic. He's well built and stronger than he looks.
Scars: An unsightly x across his left pectoral muscle, 3 inch line on right side of abdomen and lower back.

Powers:

Crash is a settler, a rare mutation in shape shifters. It is the ability to eventually 'settle' on one form. The settled form will give him access to the chosen forms powers as well as becoming fully vulnerable to their weaknesses.

Settlers are not considered the most powerful of the shifters by any means, it is the opposite of what they are and is ultimately a weakness. Once they have settled they are stripped of their family name and status as well as being banned from ever associating with other shapeshifters. However whilst they are still able to shift, they are held in high regard because their powers can be transferred over into their human forms without having to fully change form. The mutation is common in pure blooded shifters.

Because he hasn't settled down yet he still has the ability to shapeshift, though he only tends to use two forms of mimicry.

+ Beast Mimicry - Crash still has the ability to change into any animal that he has seen in real life or illustrated. When in these forms he adopts their natural prowess, for example, if the animal could see in the dark so could he. He emits a small cloud of harmless purple smoke when he shifts between forms. While in animal form, he retains his human intellect, memories, and the ability to speak. No matter what animal form he takes, his coloration and eyes remain red, making most of his animal forms easy to distinguish from real animals of that species. This power is not an obviously offensive one.

(Note: Crash's favourite forms are Red panda and Corgi puppy. Neither have special abilities.)

+ Mythological mimicry - This form of mimicry is where Crash's power lies. Unlike his animal form his hair and eye color does not cross over when he shifts. So far he has only been able to take on three forms, the celestial Achiyalabopa, the fearsome Chimera and the chaotic Pan.

Weaknesses:

- Blind Side = Crash can't see out of his right eye, so far no-one has been able to heal it, it may be able to be healed supernaturally. When he changes shape he can disguise the damage to his eye but still can't see out of it. He doesn't talk about how or why this happened, he tends to dance around the subject.

- Possessed = Though over the years Crash has learnt to control his innermost emotions so as to control his inner demon, he still runs the risk of it breaking free. Strong negative emotions such as intense fear or rage can cause his control to wane. When this begins to happen his shapeshifting powers go array, his eyes start to glow, he begins to suffer from severe chest pain and beast like features pull through into his human form, a hoof for a hand, fangs, tails, long ears etc. If he cannot pull himself under control, he shapeshifts into a Wendigo*. Losing complete control of himself, he becomes a passenger in his own body. He descending into a feral rage that, mentally, causes him to become little more than a savage beast. Feral mind =
-May be unable to separate friend from foe and attacks everyone.
-May be unable to remember activity in primal rage.
-May revert to a state of mind where the users only thoughts are simply: fight, flight, or...hunt.

He reverts back after a few hours unless beaten in combat. Although he isn't aware of what is happening whilst he is in this form, harming the Wendigo directly harms Crash, therefore killing it effectively kills the him as well. When he does revert back he is reminded of everything that he has done via unpleasant flashbacks that can span over a 12 hour period and have differing effects on his well being.

(*The Wendigo is a Native American demon best known for its cannibalistic nature and living in sub zero temperatures. Very weak against fire. It was believed that the evil spirit of the Wendigo could transfer from one person to the next when they consumed human flesh.

After getting its claws into a shapeshifter many years ago its powers have grown and the rumour goes that a shapeshifter merely has to lock eyes with the beast in order to be marked with the Wendigo's dark mark.)

- Thunderstorms = Crash is petrified of Thunderstorms, he has almost developed a sixth sense for sensing natural thunderstorms before they arrive. When he does he will excuse himself from any and all activity to find somewhere to hide and wait it out.

-Notoriously clumsy = He may have changed but he is still as clumsy as ever!

-Afraid of medical staff = Little is known about this weakness, but nurses and doctors are as scary to him as clowns are to most people. In fact if he see's someone in a lab coat he gets nervous.

-Insectophobia = Crash is not keen on bugs at all, most of them generally freak him out. Spider in the bathtub? Don't call him...there is nothing dignified about a 23 year old jumping back and forth with a variety of startled squeaks as he tries to pick it up and put it outside. (Besides it could be detrimental to the health of your bathroom...)

Personality:

Crash as he is quite aptly named, is a bit of clutz. He’s a good guy at heart but often makes a nuisance of himself, he just can’t seem to slow himself down, he’s usually full of energy and isn’t happy unless he’s busy! He isn't good when it comes to serious matters, often remaining jovial despite all odds which others can find infuriating at times. He's physically unable to stay still for too long and severely dislikes anything that requires him to be so, he gets extremely restless and struggles to concentrate. Both of these facts can make him seem fairly immature to others.

Crash is notorious for keeping a smile on his face and maintaining a positive energy. He doesn't tend to showcase his personal emotions, it could be said that he hides them behind his jovial nature or it could be taken that he really is carefree enough to let things go. He’s always willing to help out, he’s easy to talk to and although he may not always know what to say he makes for a good listener.
If you're going to ask a favour of him though bear in mind that sometimes his clumsiness gets in the way and he may unintentionally end up making things worse before they get better.

He's an intelligent chap but his social perception is awful, sometimes he talks before thinking. He's particularly nervous about casually talking to women and can become quite flustered, it's incredibly easy to make him blush. When he's flustered he's even more clumsy than usual.

Five years on, he's still the same old Crash on the surface, though certain events in his life have changed him, in ways that he either doesn't realise or refuses to acknowledge.

Background:

-Athalia wiki link for the long history-

Crash was badly injured during the destruction of Athalia, he stayed to fight but it took it out of him and he arguably wouldn't have survived without Mercy's help. She took him away from Lavanya and back to the mortal realm.

Losing Athalia and the people there left him with a wound that wouldn't heal, the fact that he had abandoned other survivors to return to the mortal realm, cut deeper still.

It took him eight months to fully recover in the mortal realm back at Mercy's home in England, once he'd recovered he spent a further four months with Mercy and her group as well as fellow Athalians Little Feather and Lion. During those four months, he decided that he was going to travel and was asked by Little Feather to accompany her over to America to help her find the descendants of her tribe.

The pair ended up travelling around the world -avoiding buses at all costs-, it was during this time that Crash gained his Chimera form, unfortunately shortly after he did Lion met an untimely demise. With Lion gone, Little Feather's wish to find her people grew stronger and they cut their travels short to go to America. Once there Little Feather led him to his Achiyalapobo form and found her people, the duo parted ways rather abruptly and Crash went off on his own. Tagging in on an up and coming band, he ended up touring with them for six months.

However, his music career was stopped short when his past finally caught up him and pulled him straight back into it. His first encounter with Deucalion and Chase cost him his right eye.

Over the next two years, Crash allowed himself to sink into his old habits. Already at odds with himself and suffering with a question of character, he was easily manipulated by Deucalion with the help of Nix and Chase.

Whom were also responsible for leading Crash to his Pan form, by taking him to one of the gods shrines and encouraging him to partake in a ritual that involved a lot of drinking and lasted the entire night. At some point during the festivities the god Pan descended among them and possessed Crash just long enough for him to make a 'copy'.

During this time and with the 'help' of his 'friends, Crash convinced himself that his heart was made of stone and that he could no longer feel compassion for others, especially humans.

Deucalion's hatred of humans ran so deep that he wouldn't truly accept anyone into their group unless they proved to him that they shared in his hatred. He was particularly hard on Crash in this area, which in turn was what snapped the shapeshifter out of his daze.

Having spent two years being moulded by Deucalion and co, he was given a test that was supposed to break him once and for all. It was a simple test, kill an innocent and he was one of them. Nix predicted that he was going to fail the test, though Deucalion wouldn't heed her so she took it upon herself to prove it. Replacing the human with herself, she deliberately shifted into a form that she knew Crash wouldn't be able to harm and was most likely to make him turn on Deucalion.

Nix's plan was successful, upon seeing her form Crash acted as she had predicted. Despite Crash's value, Deucalion was furious at him for betraying him and wounded the shapeshifter before he could escape.

After this incident, Crash completely went off the radar. He didn't contact anyone during those six months and its unclear whether he went back to Lavanya or remained in the mortal realm.

He only reappeared when he heard about the academy being rebuilt and contacted them to enrol. He visited Mercy before coming to the academy, though the visit was brief and didn't turn out quite like he had hoped.

Study

To be added later!

Other:

- Crash tends to carry a pair of drumsticks around with him.
- He uses his shapeshifting powers to change cosmetic things about himself, covering up unsightly scars or changing his eye color. It doesn't take up much of his stamina to use and only requires a small amount of concentration to maintain it.
- Knows his way around a few medical procedures, nothing worthy of a hospital though he'd make a good field medic...if you trusted him to treat you.
- He's very self-conscious about his injured eye. He tried to get supernatural help to heal it but has thus far been unsuccessful. He often changes the color of his good eye to an emerald green out of habit after spending time around mundane people, who responded better to them rather than his usual red.
- Crash has a few keepsakes from his travels, a wooden carving of a lion with an eagle feather attached to it which he wears on a short black necklace. A 'snowglobe' and a small assortment of precious gems and trinkets.
-Brought his bike with him, considering it's been his main form of transport over the last few years.
- The bandana around Crash's neck is the collar Fate placed on him years back. Its appearance was altered by a powerful sorceress Karma Matsumoto when she discovered even she could not remove it. It's waterproof and although he can move it up to rest above his ears, it can't be slid off of his head or untied.

@FaithsRose also five years passed since season 3, so you might wanna update rain's age xD 10/10 cs as usual tho

Hmm, Rain is a newbie to the academy though o.o She made her first cameo in Legends so figured I could pin her at a younger age, since she's not been to the academy before? :D Can change it back to 21 if you prefer though, either way is cool.

And thanks ^^

P.S. If its okay to use Crash, can he go straight into the CS tab?

Basics

Name: Ragnhild Bodolf Lyall
Nicknames: Rain, Blue, Wolf.
Gender: Female
Species/Race: Werewolf (Pure blood)
Age: 19
Height: 5'7
Weight: 145 lbs
Hair Color: Dark Oceanic Blue
Eye Color: Sky Blue (Human) Dark purple (Wolf)
Skin Color: Fair/Pale
Figure: Curvaceous, fairly top heavy.

Powers

+Lunar Manipulation: = Rain can bend lunar energy to her will, though there are many other aspects of lunar manipulation so far she can only absorb and manipulate the energy/light of the moon into offensive abilities.
Concussion Beams: Release beams of solidified lunar energy/substances.
Formulated Lunar Blasts: Release blasts of lunar energy/substances in a form of a creature or object. (Often a wolf)
Lunar spheres: Create spheres of lunar energy that can fly around independently and act as a harmless decoration or light source. If more focus and time is put into them they can be charged enough to be used as a thrown weapon that explodes on impact.
Zap: A tiny short release of lunar energy/substances to cause pain or discomfort, usually too low-powered to be destructive.

+Werewolf Physiology =
Rain cannot change into a full werewolf unless the moon is full. She can pull through traits of her inner wolf into her human form however. Her jaw muscles strengthen and expand to make room for her top and bottom fangs to elongate and strengthen. She can also manipulate her vocal chords to imitate animal noises, such as roaring, growling and howling.

Generic power breakdown:
Retractable claws
Heightened Senses: Werewolves can smell, see and hear far better than humans.
Accelerated Healing: Werewolves heal quickly from most injuries.
Enhanced Agility: Werewolves can jump, run, climb and react faster than humans.
Enhanced Strength: Werewolves are much stronger than humans.
Pain Transference: Werewolves can absorb and alleviate pain from other people/creatures and can "heal" in some cases.
Memory Transference: Werewolves can transfer (give or take) memories by inserting claws into the nape of an individual's neck. This ability can also allow direct "mind to mind' communication.

Alpha pulse: - Alpha's can discharge their presence in a pulse. It triggers something in a Beta or Omega's brain that makes them want to submit regardless of how they're feeling or what they're doing. This can effect other species if they are naturally very submissive.
Space Heater: - Following the tradition that 'were's run hot' Rain's normal body temperature is higher than that of a human's. She's warm to the touch and copes well in colder climates. She is capable of altering her body temperature either bringing her temperature down a few degrees or bumping it up, though doing so requires effort and concentration.

Weaknesses

- WolfsBane = The effects of Wolfsbane vary depending on the type, amount and delivery method. It can cause hallucinations, weaken, render unconscious or kill werewolves.

- Full Moon = On the full moon Rain is forced into her werewolf form whether she wants to or not, during this time she is inflicted with a feral mind. Although she is unable to control her body at this time, she is aware of what it is doing and remembers every detail once she returns to her human form.

- Pack Mentality: = Rain believes everyone should work within a pack mentality, there should be a well rounded structure to how they work with an obvious chain of command. Because of this she doesn't understand nor like selfish individuals or people out for themselves and can struggle in social situations.

- Mortal instrument: = Despite living longer than most species, werewolves are far from immortal. Rain can still be killed by normal means such as decapitation, starvation etc.

- Electricity: = The steady application of low amperage or an irregularly high voltage jolt of electricity will keep werewolves weak and in full human form. If amped enough it has the potential of killing them unless they have the spark of an alpha.

- New Moon: = Rain can use her lunar powers during the day, providing that she has absorbed the moons rays the night before, like a solar lunar panel. On the night of the new moon she is unable to recharge meaning her powers will either be significantly weaker or non existent the next day. Note: If she is cut off from the moon by imprisonment or something similar and isn't able to soak in the moons rays her powers will weaken or she won't be able to use them.

- Space Heater: = Rain struggles to cope in hot places, considering her internal temperature is already fairly high and she can't cool down like a human. Not only does she have a lower than average amount of sweat glands, the thermostat in her brain is wired to react immediately to a drop in internal temperature and is far more forgiving on a rise, her internal temperature would need to climb 4 1/2 degrees before her cooling system kicks in. She wouldn't be at risk of overheating just yet but she'd be rather uncomfortable. The only way she can cool herself down before this is by finding external cold sources, panting like a canine or putting all of her focus into cooling her body temperature down.

Personality:

Rain is a generally calm person, she doesn't like confrontation but easily takes it in her stride. Despite her bestial origins she is a fairly patient person and has trained herself to take a lot of jip without reacting in a negative way . She does have triggers like everyone else but she tries to keep them well guarded. She's wise and strategic, able to perceptively find loopholes in table top organisation or out in the field.

She isn't fond of beating things around the bush, she prefers to be honest and upfront with people whether it hurts them or not. She has a slight heroic drive, but isn't as open minded about it, she'll do what she can but won't always push herself unless its someone whom she considers to be within her pack or someone she cares deeply for.

Rain is used to living a certain way, she's used to being relied on and being under the constant burden of responsibility, this can make her come across as a bit of a bore to other people. She has become a bit of a workaholic and is in need of a reminder of what its like to let go and have fun.

It should be noted that Rain isn't as well versed in interaction with people outside of her pack, as her species has grown independent from the world they have developed more efficient ways of communicating. Often through their body language and scent, for example, its difficult to lie to a werewolf because they can detect the increase and decrease in a persons pulse.

Background:

The biggest misconception of the werewolves is that they are nothing more than mindless beasts, feral to their core.

Werewolves are in fact divided into many different species and cultures, most of which are far more sophisticated then they are given credit for. Rain hails from a pack of mountain dwellers living on the outskirts of civilisation, though in the past they have stayed hidden away, living independently from the rest of society. Her packs alpha and father Esbjorn has been working hard to encourage his brethren to look outside of their tight knit communities and consider making contact with outsiders.

Rain was born and raised in the mountainous ranges of Rúnboreal on the outskirts of civilisation. She has spent her entire life in this region, living within her pack. When she turned sixteen she took the rite of maturity as is customary of her people, during this time it was hit or miss as to whether she was going to survive. The risk for females taking the rite is significantly higher than males, they struggle to control their wolves as they tend to be far more violent than males.

Being the current alphas daughter a lot is expected of her, as her people have grown and adapted to the world around them, they have introduced new customs to run alongside the old ones. Often discarding the more barbaric customs, one of these is the crowning of new alphas. Whereas before any werewolf could try to dethrone their alpha if they so wished be this through cut-throat or honourable means, now alphas must choose a descendent. Rain is her fathers chosen descendent which is both an honour and a burden.

When she was sixteen she came across a rather influential werewolf, Piper, at the annual meeting of the packs. The two hit it off instantly, Piper was new, rebellious and...free, unlike Rain herself. It was during this time the young werewolf came to terms with her sexuality and began a dangerous affair with the other woman. Unfortunately, the werewolves haven't embraced everything the modern world has to offer them, for example homosexuality is forbidden within their culture. Two years into their touch and go relationship Rain and Piper made a mistake and were caught out, this resulted in Piper being executed. To set her on the path of redemption the pack demanded that Piper's life was ended by Rain's hand.

Rain has spent the last year grieving for the loss of her mate and attempting to make up for her 'mistake'. With her father nearing the end of his time, she is still expected to take over as his predecessor but has a long way to go if she is to regain the trust of her pack. Despite knowing this Rain has been struggling to live up to the packs demands. With the insightful help of Mercedes Clueman, an old friend of Esbjorn, the decision was made to send Rain to Athalia Academy. Being of the persuasive sort, Mercy was able to talk Esbjorn around to the decision assuring him time away from her pack would help her heal and take the first step towards integrating the packs back into society. Though Mercy hasn't yet returned to the academy, she is responsible for getting Rain there and is listed as an emergency contact should it be needed. Rain had little to no objections about going away to the academy, though it'd be safe to say she's both concerned and excited for what's to come.

Classes:

To be added promptly!

Other:

- Sorry boys, Rain is gay. She is very open about her sexuality away from her pack, her superiors believe it is just a phase she is going through. They do not mind her having 'flings' but they won't accept her imprinting on an outsider or a female.
- She can play the piano and is very efficient with a bow, she was taught archery by Mercedes Clueman who is also listed as her emergency contact whilst she attends the academy.
-Rain always wears a long chain necklace with a fang shaped vial. The vial contains a sample of her own blood taken during her coming of age ceremony, it is a symbol of her maturity among her people.
- Rain is a direct descendant of the 'first' or 'father' werewolf of her people. Whom came to be after stealing a magical wolf-skin cloak from the pair Sigmund and Sinfjotli and drinking the blood of Fenrir before the tenth day, binding his spirit with that of the monstrous wolf.

GET OVER HERE

if you're using your old athalia CS and you plan on updating just slightly then i doubt you need to get it approved again; that was the case with me and dp

I was thinking of changing Rain's around and bringing her over into this, so I guess that'd be okay to go straight into the CS tab ^^

Kind of unsure whether to attempt to bring Crash back again or work on a new character though :S t

(Also hai @FaithsRose!)

I'll stop with the gif overload after this...just in a gif mood...
Hey all ^^ Sorry for not picking up on this sooner! Illness and poetry classes have been trying to kill me T_T (Really not into poetry...)

Am I still okay to tag in here? ^^' If so do you need CS's posted in here to be looked over before the CS tab?

Rain leant her forehead against her hands, anxiously watching Vikki zip around under the water. Her eyes weren't able to follow Vikki as easily as before, though she could hear each turn and felt the disturbance it made. The rest of her body didn't feel like it was hers any longer...by rights she should have adapted to the shift faster than anyone else, this sort of transformation was a large part of her life. She growled in the back of her throat as Vikki splashed around, glad to hear her vocal chords hadn't changed...at least above water, she doubted she'd sound the sound beneath the surface. "I-" Rain glanced at Maruki as he spoke to her, she'd trusted him thus far "I'll be alright in a moment...thank you" She decided on saying, looking back down at her tail as it lazily swayed through the water. She was using the chain to hold herself up rather than trusting her tail to do it.

"As long as we don't spend years down there, they should be fairly safe...just might need to buff them when you're back up" She murmured quietly in answer to Vikki's remark, hoping against hope underwater skirmishes were not going to be a thing after this.

Rain felt herself tense up as Andromeda swam closer to her, though she relaxed a little when the other woman admitted she couldn't swim either. "Could have fooled me" She commented with a small smile, taking a deep breath as she listened carefully to what Andromeda was saying. 'Just like breathing...' She glanced at Andromeda's offered hand, a little surprised that she had offered to help. Tentatively the werewolf reached out to grasp Andromeda's hand, conscious of her claws and hesitantly let go of the chain. "Thank you" She murmured as her tail worked to keep her above the surface. After a few moments she tried moving around, not enough that she disturbed Andromeda or was forced to release her hand, she also dunked herself under the water to see if she really could breath, that one took a few attempts. '...still think I prefer legs...but she's right, it's easy' As Kail called out and dove beneath the surface, Rain felt a nervous shiver pass through her, still she released Andromeda's hand so as not to hinder the other woman any further and ducked down beneath the waves.

The werewolf was far from elegant below the water, she hovered at the back of the group, trying to test how agile she was beneath the water. Which meant occasionally she'd dive off in a random direction before scrabbling her way back towards everyone. 'If I can't move fast what use am I? Am I still strong?' As she thought that she tried to turn sharply and almost collided with one of the broken statues, before she could think it through she instinctively twisted around it. A smile crossed her face as she hovered there for a moment before she swam after the others, weaving between a few statues and diving down into the plots of coral. She could hear scales graze across stone as the fish swam past them and the distant singing of a pod of whales. She could sense the vibrations through the water as well as hearing them...it was odd but comforting.

When the rest of the group stopped at a door, she swam over to join them, circling Andromeda once before coming to rest beside her, she sensed the other woman wasn't comfortable. The werewolf herself wasn't as nervous as she had been before, she was sure she was still in her own body and despite the change in her senses, they were still as good if not better than they were before. The only thing that bothered her was her lack of smell, she couldn't seem to pick up any scents in the underwater world...at least she thought she couldn't. 'Well they did tell me I needed to stop relying on my nose' She thought absently as she turned to listen to what Maruki had to say. She wasn't entirely comfortable with what he was asking of them, folding her arms across her chest, she glanced down at the glittering array of scales and seaweed like material that effectively covered her dignity like a bikini top. 'I can't make a promise like that, I will not die for you...not at the expense of my people' The thought crossed her mind as she avoided the sea god's eye, she wasn't surprised that Kail swore her life on it. The werewolf ground her teeth together "I'll do everything within my power to prevent that from happening" She decided on saying, it wasn't a solid promise but judging by her body language it was the best she was going to offer, at least it was something though.
Hey all :) Sorry for not being around or posting, had some unexpected personal problems to deal with over the break :/ Hope that post is okay, been a while since I've written anything ^^'

Also I was hoping I could base a fair bit of Rain's underwater senses on a sharks with just a few changes <.< Like being equally attracted to fish and mammal blood rather than just the former and only effectively being able to use the lateral line system when horizontal in the water ^^' Thoughts?

After almost pulling over the Christmas tree-which probably would have destroyed more than anyone cared to think of-because he got himself tied up in the lights, Crash had been banned from helping with any and all decorating. He'd also been banned from helping with the feast as well, after a jug of eggnog had ended up over one of the volunteers head and one of the cookers...needless to say no-one much appreciated his fire fighting effort. And he was banished by the handful of foam covered volunteers.

Despite all of that Crash was in high spirits. Christmas was his all time favourite holiday, he liked the music, the decorations, the clothes, the colors, the food...basically everything about it. Having been banished from near enough everywhere else, Crash found himself in the last place he'd expect to be. Supervising-of all things-the children as they built their snow forts and prepared for the snow ball war, he'd been helping all of them build up their walls and hoard snowballs. There were little walls of snow all over the place as was the way of children, no definite area of battle. "This is just...chaotic" He said to himself, scraping snow out of his hair and brushing it off of his coat. He wasn't wearing anything particularly Christmassy at the moment, he'd forgotten to go out and buy anything so he was sporting a long black and white coat over a light blue jumper with a pair of jeans tucked into winter boots. He was hoping Carmen wouldn't notice his terrible choice in clothing...yet again it was a daily occurrence for him and probably expected.

He'd removed himself from the center of the snow fight after he'd been bombarded with snow balls for 'helping' the enemy...which meant all of them had thrown snow at him. He was now stood off to the side listening to Carmen's band and twirling a drumstick through his gloved fingers. 'It definitely is the most wonderful time of the year...' He thought to himself with a smile. He hadn't celebrated Christmas with such flourish for many years, he'd tagged in on Mercy's Christmas get togethers. But as welcoming as her family were he had always felt like an outsider.

"It'll be different this year...surely" He told himself, pulling his coat tighter as he noticed a small person dart behind the tree next to him. He slid his drumstick into his pocket next to the other one and pretended he hadn't noticed anything. "Ha!" The youngster exclaimed as he jumped out and threw a snowball at Crash. The shapeshifter turned in surprise and allowed it to hit him square in the chest, throwing himself backwards with a playful cry as it struck his coat. "Ahhh, you got me! Man down!" He complained, clutching at his chest as he sat up. By now the youngster was giggling like mad. "He's down but he's not out" Crash added, scooping some snow into his hand and throwing it back at the youngster, who jumped away in surprise. Gathering another a handful of snow, the shapeshifter hopped to his feet and scrunched it into a ball, ready to throw the snowball at the retreating youngster. He hesitated however as he heard someone laugh behind him. Keeping his arm suspended in the air, he turned round in time to see two snowballs fly at Lily and Carmen.
Hey all ^^

Sorry about the delay in posting, I didn't finish uni until last Friday 18th <.< And the last four days have just been -.- hectic as hell. But I've got a Rain post up and once Christmas is out of the way I'll have a lot more free time until late January :D

Speaking of, can I tag in on the Christmas special? Rather intrigued by what I've read so far :P Especially hyped by the prospect of Carlily xD

Rain looked back at Andromeda as she replied to her question. 'Well damn...what do you say to that?' "Lets hope they work...though wouldn't those lense things be a better option?" She murmured the last part, trying to recall what she could about the lenses she had seen. Her fathers friend had worn them to protect her eyes or so she had told Rain.

The werewolf swallowed her nerves as Kail nodded at Maruki. She watched him carefully as he turned to face Andromeda only tearing her eyes away from him as the blue-green mist surrounded the woman beside her. 'Oh this is by far the stupidest thing you have agreed too yet' She reprimanded herself as she felt Maruki's eyes on her. She curled her fingers into her hands and braced herself for whatever pain this change was going to bring, in her experience changing into something else was always painful.

So it came as a surprise when the mist harmlessly engulfed her, her bones didn't break and reform neither did her skin stretch. Her legs were gently pushed together and a cold sensation ran the length of her spine as her tail formed. Unfortunately Rain hadn't picked the best place to stand, with a pair of legs balancing on the side of the boat was easy now that she had a tail instead it was nigh on impossible. As this thought crossed her mind she reached out for the chain she'd left hanging beside the ship, but it was just out of her reach and before the mist had completely dissipated she fell head first into the water.

Despite knowing she'd changed into another form, Rain couldn't quell the panic that rose up inside of her. She couldn't swim and the water had her, Piper couldn't save her this time. Her eyes were open despite her mind's objections and she was able to see the tail of the chain bobbing in the water beside her. Clawing at the water and wriggling with all her might she burst through the surface of the water with a gasp and grabbed a hold of the cold metal. 'Sirius preserve me' She prayed, taking in a few shuddery breaths and resting her forehead against the chain as she tried to calm herself down.

Due to Rain's biology she hadn't changed into a picture perfect merperson. As Andromeda still had her snakes and sunglass covered eyes, Rain's current form had taken her other side into account. Her ears were pointed with a jagged tip, small clawed spines ran down the spine of her tail, both her top and bottom set of canines were visibly elongated and her eyes had changed to a dark purple. Curling her clawed fingers tighter around the metal chain the werewolf looked down at the tail that had replaced her legs, moving it back and forth as Andromeda sought her out.

"Yeah...I'm...I'm fine...." She replied to the other woman's question, wondering if she should have told them all that she couldn't swim before Maruki turned her into a mermaid. 'Your need to prove yourself could have jeopardized this mission before its even started' She thought to herself, she wasn't usually this reckless...but she felt as if she needed to prove herself. Unable to look at either Vikki or Kail she continued looking down at her tail as Andromeda asked what was going to happen next.
