I think today would be a good day to start this. I'll likely wait until later tonight so I can talk to Leon about what he plans to do with Luna.

Awesome, can't wait. Though i do have to work late tonight so i probably wont be able to read any of it until tomorrow.
Goooood morning North America! And how are we all this fine summer morn?

Also Fatal, you wouldn't happen to have gotten you pistol image off of Deviantart would you have?

I don't know, I just browsed througha bunch of images on Google.

On an unrelated note, Srath will not be involved in any lizard orgies. I plan on having him reflect my prudish tendencies.

Oh my god XD I just realized how much fun Ashley could have messing with Srath's assault armor XD

Oi, don't be messing with the DOOM suit. And it has an onboard dumb a.i. to prevent that sort of thing. Though she's probably skilled enough to bypass it.

Just so you know only about ~5% of the Sovereign military uses magic. I'm pretty positive that the Rothian millitary is either more than that or equal.

It's only 5% of Rothians in the OP, though now that I've actually checked it doesn't actually mention how many species within the Sovereignty can use magic.

I can think of a good explanation for why they would still make that program. Of course, Srath himself wouldn't be aware of it.

Well that's the only way I could think of getting him the armor that made sense. If you have a different idea I'll gladly change the bio.
There, all fixed. Turns out this site REALLY doesn't like non-JPEG images.
Name:[b/]
Srath'Thane

[b]Species:[b/]
Rothian

[b]Height:[b/]
8' 2"

[b]Age:

493

Gender:
Male

Appearance:
Srath has dark grey scales covering his entire body, except where it fades to black along his back and the top of his head, and lightens along his front and throat to almost white. His eyes are bright blue and almost glow in contrast to his dark scales.

Equipment:
MK-IV Modular Assault Armor: (Modular is fancy talk for customizable) Two mag-lock shoulder mounts for heavy weapons (AI guided). An artificial layer of muscle inside the suit increases his strength to the point where he can easily flip over a small vehicle. Energy shielding is modified from standard, able to take greater impacts but takes longer to recharge. Real-time up link to deploy-able UAV, providing accurate HUD overlay of detected targets. Integrated sensory equipment giving basic scans on target. On-board "Dumb" AI for all your hacking and remote shuttle piloting needs. All powered by an advanced on-board fusion reactor, its compact nature however prevents it from powering more than one secondary weapon system at a time while the shields are active. A neural up-link implant is required for the armor to function properly and allows for tactile feedback, allowing the wearer to feel through the armor.

Energy Bayonets: Two forearm mounted energy blades, each 2' in length.

Fusion Cannon (Shoulder Mounted): Access to the armors fusion reactor and having more robust capacitors than its hand-fired counterpart allows for a full charge to be stored, ready to fire. However this also generates far more heat and power, trading increased firepower for a longer cool-down/charge period.

Heavy Micro-Fusion Gun (Shoulder Mounted): Access to a larger platform allowed for expansion of the firing chamber, making room for a more complex chambering mechanism that drastically increases the rate of fire. This also has the drawback of creating overheating possible if sustaining fire for too long.

Fusion Rifle: Standard issue (See OOC for description).

Fusion Hand-Cannon: Customized to be able to fire a higher energy round but has reduced range. Wields two at once and prefers their use in close quarters over his rifle.

Skills/Abilities:
Specialized training in the operation and maintenance of all MK-IV Assault Armor variants and its various weapon systems. Prefers to use heavy weapons and strong defenses to be able to engage multiple targets or overwhelm a single target with shear firepower. He fights best on the front line in the thick of battle and has customized his armor to do so. Contrary to Rothian military standards Sraths' an immovable object in battle, holding against everything an enemy will throw at him and almost never giving ground.

Background:
Srath led a normal childhood, being hatched to his mother and father on Anskaria. His mother had moved there once a colony had been fully established almost a millennia ago to continue her research. She is a Xenoanthropologist, studying alien species she was one of the first scientists to study Humans and advise ambassadors. She moved to Anskaria due to its Human population while still residing in Rothian space as her studies were on Human-Rothian interaction. She met her husband, Sraths' father, 200 or so years later. He was stationed there as part of the Rothian Defense Force detachment that had been sent to maintain order during the formation of the colony.

Another hundred year of being married led them to applying to having a child, about two hundred years later they were approved and Srath hatched shortly thereafter. Due to the large non-Rothian population on Anskaria that he grew up around Srath had an easier time socializing with the other races as he grew up, especially with Humans as his mother would often talk about her research with her family.

When he'd matured, Srath joined his father in the Rothian Defense Force on Anskaria. They were eager to have him as he was one of the few Rothians to have grown up around other races. He spent most of his career dealing with smugglers and gangsters trying to move contraband through the massive trade world.

When the Sovereignty war began Srath became frustrated with his governments lack of action in aiding the humans. Though the many human friends he'd had over the centuries had made him more sympathetic to their plight than most of his race. When the Sovereignty started destroying worlds and the Vu'sho'to'Ka (Will of the People) agreed to provide military support Srath volunteered, much to his family's distress, and was on one of the first ships to aid Humanity.

Shortly after engaging the Masulu in combat the Rothian Defense Force announced an experimental program to help Rothians combat the Sovereignty's more prevalent use of magic in the war. Though their advanced weapons and armor allowed them to push the Sovereignty back, the cost in life was seen as far to great. Srath volunteered to enter into the program as well, upon his acceptance he was given an implant that allowed him to interface with the MK I Modular Assault Armor. Its purpose being to balance the fighting by substituting the lack of magic users among the Rothians by giving a select few soldiers the firepower and defenses equivalent of a small combat vehicle. And it worked.
Over the course of the war the armor and its weapons became more refined, ending in the MK IV variant. And with most combat happening in cities where large scale close-quarters fighting occurred Srath quickly adopted and load-out favoring these conditions while still maintaining some effectiveness in other scenarios. And he would often use his enhanced defense to great effect, acting as either a distraction and taking for for his team or pushing out of suppressed areas often saving his team in the process.
When the war had ended Srath was less mentally scarred then most other Rothians as he had more experience with death having known many humans over the centuries. Having spent the war using what he was given to protect those who fought beside him he feels that he must continue to do so. Joining the Assembly of Pax hoping to join others who are of like minds and protect others by preventing another war.
