Question: How long from crash to guild member? I was thinking a year, maybe less. Or does it really matter?
Cool. Red tape yes, not so much training. You'll understand once I've fixed his sheet and post it.
Or, third option. He arrived a while back and is just now joining? I think it would just be a little easier to write him in like this seeing as how a bunch of stuff has already occurred.
Okay, well at the risk of making a greater idiot of myself. The character I have is left over from an old hero RP I did before the site updated. I have him written up to be crash landing on earth at the end of his bio, so would it be acceptable to make him crash land just outside the city? Or would you rather I give him a bit of a re-wright so he's already a member of the guild?
I know, but my annoyance is due to my question on using an alien character not being answered.

And now I just read a character sheet who's an alien so now I feel like an idiot.
Okay I'm starting to feel a little offended now.
So... is your silence a no?
Are you still accepting? Because if you are I may be interested in joining, but it's your allowance of an alien that determines this.
The boy merely shrugged in response to Ronin’s question. He ducked down out of view before returning and pitching a rope ladder down. Ronin thought it odd, but climbed the ladder anyway. Once he joined the elven boy at the top of the wall, Ronin saw the village of Twiddledale. His anxiety rose as he saw and heard almost nothing to indicate people were around, other than the boy on the wall with him. Ronin went down the stairs as the other boy pulled the rope ladder back up the wall. As he walked down the stairs Ronin saw another boy about the same age as himself and the other, leaning a staff on his shoulder.

As he reached the bottom of the steps, Ronin was about to introduce himself when he heard someone come running over. Ronin placed his hand on his sword, as he turned to see who it was. A girl, again about the same age as everyone else came sprinting down the road. She came to a stop, panting, just after the elven boy from the wall joined them.

“Dakin” she said to the second boy, panting a little. “I found Dorn” she continued between breaths. “I mean his body. Um…he’s dead. I..I…Autry’s dead too. And…”

She turned and looked at Ronin, seemingly noticing him for the first time.

“Were you the one yelling.” She asked. “What I mean is who are you?”

Ronin was distracted by what the girl had said. People were dead? And their bodies were here. This was different than Llorkh then, maybe Sir Erikson was among the dead?
Ronin snapped back to reality.

“Uh.. my name is Ronin. I came here with a man, Sir Erikson, I’m his squire. We got separated just a few miles up the road, he told me to meet him here before he told me to hide.”

Ronin looked back to the gate, a large wooden beam was locking it closed. That was what had kept them from opening the main gate and it looked to need several grown men to move it. Ronin didn’t want to leave Amorachus outside the wall, he was very important now. He’d need him to get back to Waterdeep.

“Is there anyone who can help to open the gate? I don’t want to leave Amorachus out there.”
Ronin stood outside the gate shifting from foot to foot. His armor feeling heavier than usual. Should he call out again? The wall was quite high, maybe he wasn't heard? Or maybe the door would open and bandits or monsters would come pouring out. Just then Ronin heard feet pounding on wooden steps just over the wall. When he looked up he saw a head peek over the wall. A boy, about the same age as him Ronin guessed. The sharper features and slightly pointed ears hinting at the boys elven heritage.

"Hello." Said the boy. "Who are you? Why have you come to this village?" He asked.

If there are people here still, maybe Sir Erikson made it. Ronin thought hopefully. "I'm looking for my master, Sir Erikson. He's an older man wearing armor and has a bastard sword across his back. He would have arrived last night." Ronin's hope seeping into his voice.
