Okay, I finally finished this at like 4 am. Apologies for any spelling errors, it is very late for me :(
Name: Honda Tomoyo
Age: 16
Birthday: December 14th
Year level: 10
Sexuality: Homosexual
Club (if any): None
Disabilities (if any): Tomoyo was born without her lower legs. Rather than use prosthetics as a substitute, she prefers to use her wheelchair to get around.
Job/occupation (if any): Part-time chef at the Shanghai
Appearance:
Tomoyo is thinly built, her only noticeable muscle mass being in her arms. Her dark brown hair is usually kept short and unstyled, giving her a more tomboy-ish look, and her eyes are a dull blue-gray. She has a strong disdain for the cold, and because of this, she tends to wear heavier clothes outside of school, such as sweaters and pants. Even in warm weather, she likes to bring a light jacket or shawl with her, in the event that the temperature is too low for her (which it usually is).
Personality: Tomoyo is definitely the outdoorsy type, even in less than stellar weather. She spends a lot of her free time out and about, always on the lookout for new places to see. She is also wildly fascinated with the occult, though this is more of a side interest, and not something she brings up or talks about often. Her absolute favorite thing to do, however, is to cook, which is something she's become quite skilled at over the years. Culinary is one of the few things she's truly dedicated and passionate about, so much so that she's made it her goal to open her own restaurant one day.
In general, Tomoyo is a very relaxed and fun-loving person. She goes about her life with a very calm attitude, no matter how hectic things may be. Very rarely does she ever become frustrated or stressed, and has proven to be very patient and understanding of others. On the downside, her carefree lifestyle often leads to her slacking off and procrastinating, which can cause problems when it comes to her studies. She also has a habit of zoning out and daydreaming at random, though this more commonly happens when she's by herself or if she's simply bored enough.
Tomoyo is always trying to do things on her own, not bothering with asking others for help unless she feels it's truly necessary. This, combined with her procrastinating ways, often means plans and projects of hers are left unfinished for long periods of time. She is not one to give up easily though. Instead of giving up entirely, she simply goes and does other things, then comes back to whatever she was doing later on. It may take her a lot longer, but she always manages to finish the things she's started, regardless of the setbacks.
Despite her reluctance to ask her peers for help, Tomoyo is not one to shy away from conversation. You might need to speak to her first, but once you do, she's more than happy to keep a conversation going, so long as the topic is entertaining enough to her. And it usually is, unless the subject is something truly boring. Although she's fine with talking to people, Tomoyo is more of a listener, and prefers to sit back and let other people do the talking.
Backstory: Shortly after Tomoyo was born, her parents broke up after just three years of marriage. While this never had a very negative effect on her growing up, she did end up being a lot closer to her father than her mother, as her mother was often away on business trips, and as a result was unable to spend very much time with her daughter. Instead, she spent the majority of her adolescence living with her father, one floor above the fishing shop he owned and still owns to this day. Whenever he came home from his monthly trips to the lake one town over, Tomoyo was always eager to help him cook whatever he'd caught, which is where her interest in cooking first began.
For a long while, Tomoyo was highly unmotivated and bored with her life. She was barely passing in school, and had very few friends that she actually spent time with outside of class. The only thing that she seemed to enjoy was cooking, though she originally didn't feel like it would take her anywhere. That all changed when her father enrolled her in Yamaku Academy, hoping that she might do better with her studies in an environment geared more towards her. Although the change didn't help her necessarily, taking on a part time job at the Shanghai seemed to be the kick she needed to re-motivate herself. She still tends to slack off in school, but she's more determined to do better now that she feels she has a purpose.
Notes: An easy way to get your things broken is to hand it to Tomoyo. Unless she knows how to use it, she will try to figure it out on her own. And she will more than likely break it.
She may slack off a lot in school, but Tomoyo does try to keep her grades at least at a C average.
