Hi there :D

"Killing others doesn't make you superior. It makes you a murderer." Jayden shrugs passively, not intimidating by her show of ego. "But whatever makes you feel good about yourself." He continues after her silently. His eyes follow her figure as they near the rushing water. He just wanted to go back into the forest on his own at this rate.

Elauna pauses at the mention of being a murderer. "I'm not a murderer. I killed in the defense of our group, there's a difference." She says hotly. She snorts and quickens her pace, ears flicking as she hears the river up ahead. She narrows her eyes, seeing a figure up ahead. She snarls and runs towards them, bowling them over without a second thought, pinning them down. "Got it!" It was Aya.
"You're acting like you're my superior! You don't just get to have my respect if you think I'll tolerate this." Jayden flashes back, digging his claws into the ground. "Your threats don't scare me." He walks after her and watches her angrily.

"I am your superior though Jayden. I always have been, and always will be." Elauna sneers a bit. "I never asked you for any respect Jayden." She says calmly as she pads through the forest. "If you're not scared, however, then you're a fool. You know I could slit that throat of yours with ease."
Jayden snarls and places his large paws on her chest to shove her off. "Chill the fuck out, Elauna." He collects himself and looks at her with irritation clouding his gaze. Jayden was usually patient with his firey groupmates, but Elauna was being too aggressive. "You act like Destin is dead. He's probably just collecting herbs." Jayden's tail lashes as he pads ahead of her.

Elauna snarls and darts in front of him. She glares at him coldly. "You don't get to speak to me like you're my superior Jayden." She brings her face up to his. "Don't you dare talk to me like this again, or you're going to wait up one night missing a limb." She snorts and trots away from him, heading towards the river.
Jayden turned his head to follow the coarse Healer. "Sure, I guess." He shrugged off her harsh tone and rose to follow her. He bounded forward and met her as they left the camp. "Where to?" He asked, as they moved along.

"The river." Elauna says curtly, glancing at him briefly. She then scoffs. "You guess?? Our healer is missing, our ONLY healer is missing, and you guess you want to go find him?" She shifts and bowls him over, setting a paw on his throat. "Fabine may tolerate those who wish to be passive in our destruction. But I don't. Now we will find our healer and bring him back, and you will do everythng in your power to ensurehis safety. Am I clear?"
Jayden padded into camp in his mountain lion form. His tail flicked lazily as he headed to a fire to it next two. His eyes gazed around at the empty clearing and he wondered where everyone was. It wasn't that late in the day, was it?

Elauna walks out of her tent, noticing and hearing movement outside. She notices a lion and scoffs. She walks over and punches jayden in the side. "C'mon lazy ass. We're going out." She then begins walking towards the camp exit without waiting for his response. She had no time for whining or nonsense today. Their healer was missing, and she knew these lazy assholes wouldn't lift a finger to go look for him, so of course she would have to.
Aya smiles happily and sits on the ground by the river, enjoying the view. She so rarely came just to look at this place since she was so often scared of running into Broms. The threat of that happening now ran through her mind for a second but she calmed herself and just focused on the rushing water. Destin would be back soon. There was nothing to worry about.

Destin wades across the river. He reaches the other side and shivers a bit. He wrings out his shirt, before turning and waving to Aya. He smiles and then runs between the trees, eager to hurry up and find Elauna so that he could return back to Aya. He smiles, thinking about their hug and kiss. She was so cute!
Aya huffs for a moment, and can't help thinking that boys simply had no common sense when it came to romance. Had Destin watched no romantic movies? "This is the kind of good luck I meant!" She pulls him in after hugging him and gives him a quick kiss on his lips. "There!" she tries to sound tough but her strawberry-red face gives her emotions away. "You stole my first kiss so... Well, I stole it back! So you better come back to date me, okay?" She gives a satisfied nod.

Destin blinks a bit. "Oh uhh.." He then smiles at her. "It's okay! I really like you, so of course I'll be back!" He holds out the broach so she can see. "Can't go running off without this, now can I?" He smiles and quickly kisses her lips. He then giggles and runs across the river to the Brom side.
"I'll wait for you." Aya promises, and puts him down on the ground. She looks longingly at him and clears her throat. "Ah... Perhaps you'd like, um, something for good luck?" She stares awkwardly at the ground in front of his paws. This always seemed so much more natural in the romantic movies she'd watched as a child.

Destin stretches and then looks up at her. "Like a good luck charm?" He flicks his tail. "I dunno, I mean, you're the only good luck I need!" He rubs his face against her leg. He smiles up at her warmly before shifting human and hugging her. "You're so sweet Aya, I really hope we can go out when I get back!"
Aya drew herself back to reality when they reached the rushing waters of the river. The water looked freezing, and her heart skipped a beat as she remembered finding Destin's body on the bank in the arms of Kianna. She sighs for a moment as she considers the memory. Hadn't she been a bit harsh to Kianna? She'd have to apologise to the Rabin at some point. It just seemed that recently she'd been distracted with the other Brom guest while Aya had her hands full with Destin. She quietly promised herself that however much she loved - she stopped herself there, feeling that maybe she should use that word quite yet - however much she came to love Destin, she wouldn't neglect her other campmates. "This is as far as I can go Destin." Aya tells him. "No need for a war to be started by me going over there now, you know?"

Destin shivers a bit as he sees the river. He could barely remember back how he had jumped into the river because of the argument with Misha. He presses closer to Aya's arms before she speaks. He sighs and nods. "I guess it is." He whispers. "I'll find Elauna, tell her that I'm leaving the Broms, but I won't tell her why...I'll be back by sundown, okay?" He looks up at her face.
Aya clasps him in her arms and stands up. "We'll go the river together, okay?" She didn't wait for answer, but just started walking. She was young and had all the time in the world to spend with Destin, but she felt as though she couldn't wait another moment to be with him. She blushed as she happily thought about kissing him afterwards. Then she'd get to tell everyone in the Rabins about them... And she'd write to her grandmother and parents and they'd be so happy... Her head filled with fantasies as they went.

Destin purrs happily in her arms. His heart flutters as he looks up at her face. He nuzzles her arm and looks around as they walk. He couldn't help but feel so excited. As much as he loved being in the Broms, surrounded by those who needed him, he couldn't stand being away from Aya. He liked her a lot, and he didn't want to be apart anymore. The Broms would be fine, and if not, he could go back and help them! He smiles at the thought. He'd never leave his old group to die.
