"Get him back to camp, she wouldn't dare follow you there," Vera shouted at him. She chose instead to veer off to the side and wait for Kianna, readying her bow and taking aim, muttering her desire for payback.

Fabine nods "Sorry kid, you're not going back htere. Never going to see that pretty girlfriend of yours." He sneers, quickening his pace again. He glances back. "You better be right about this!" He shouts, hoping Kianna would think he was talking to her. He hears the river up ahead and heads towards the shallower part, knowing he couldn't jump with the kid on his back.
Kianna continued to chase after them, her shoulder affecting her pace a decent amount. "Destin! I'm going to get you!" She shouts, following close behind. She saw their shapes farther off as she tried to catch up.

Fabine curses loudly. He glances back, seeing Kianna. He looks to Vera. "Still your mission." He says firmly, holding tight onto Destin. He waits for further instruction.
Reina had set down a pair of pants when she saw Ptelea's form enter the room. The sobbing girl pulled at Reina's emotions and she pulls her closer. "Oh God, not again! What is with those boys?!" She frowns, holding onto her tightly. Her face was that of deep concern for the young girl. "Ptelea, what happened?"

Ptelea sobs for several minutes, unable to speak. She hiccups and cries. She slowly calms herself enough to speak. She nods painfully. "They...they hit me with their bats... my arm hurts...again.." She sobs softly, sniffling. "I don't know what I'm doing wrong Reina!" She cries and buries her face further in the other girl's shirt. She sniffles. "I miss Amby, I miss Dem...why can't they be here with me??"

Between gasps for breath, Vera caught the sound of Destin's quiet sobs and sighed. As her energy began to dwindle, she winced as the pain from her injury caught up to her where Kianna had hurt her leg. She managed to keep in pace with Fabine but knew she'd better see a healer back at camp.

Fabine slows down, noticing Vera struggling. He glances behind them. Not seeing anyone, he slows to a walk. "Well done Vera. Even not getting Misha back, you proved you're a good leader..." He chooses his words carefully. "Once we get Misha back, I'd be glad to make you my second in command."

Leo glanced up at him, ears back a bit. He looked away and pawed at the ground silently.

Xavier crouches down. "Hey, look at me." He says gently, holding a hand out.
Kianna felt an arrow tear through her shoulder and snarls, before pulling herself together to attack Vera once more. The wound was bleeding and she fought to ignore the pain. Aya had scrambled away and she hoped she could get enough distance between the Broms. Kianna sees them begin to flee and leaps to chase after them, paws hitting the ground heavily.

Reina was sitting on her bed, going through her clothes. A lot were worn out and too small but she'd have to make due. With a frown she noticed she hadn't seen Ptelea in awhile. Who knows what had happened, those boys were relentless. She had dealt with them before, but did her best to stay on their good side.

Ptelea goes into the house. It was early, maybe 5 or 6 am. No one would be up yet, the adults would be asleep until 8 am. She hurries up the stairs, crying quietly. She looks down the hallway and spots Reina's door ajar with the light on. She sniffs and pushes it open slowly, hoping not to wake her friend or anyone else in the room. Seeing Reina on the bed, she runs over and throws herself into her friend's arms and begins sobbing uncontrollably.

Vera sprinted after Fabine, but kept her bow drawn and watched over her shoulder at the Rabins. She smirked in satisfaction at Fabine's parting words and as soon as they were out of the camp, she turned her attention in front of her and continued running as fast as she could.

Destin whimpers fearfully. He tries to kick free of Fabine, but the older boy just tightens his grip, so he stops. He sighs sadly, watching the Rabin camp get smaller as they run away from it. He begins crying softly, knowing it would be really difficult from here on out to see Aya ever again...
Vera scowled as she was forced to release Aya and draw her bow, firing an arrow at her attacker. "Fabine! Grab Aya or Destin and let's get out of here," she barked, her bow and arrow at the ready, prepared to fire mercilessly at anyone that challenged them.

Fabine spots Sacha's arrow flying at him and dodges, before grabbing Destin's arm, hoisting him easily over his shoulder. "Sounds like a plan." He smirks, whirling around with his dagger at the ready, watching the Rabins with a sneer. "Sorry Sacha, I guess you lost this one, didn't you." He winks and quickly runs out of the camp.
Ptelea watches the house from the road. It was dark and the only light was from the windows in the house. She could hear laughing and screaming, even from the road. She sighs and begins the trek through the grass, trying to be as quiet as possible. If she managed to make it to her room, the bully wouldn't be able to hurt her. Though, she never made it.
She reaches the house and peaks inside, heart racing. She really didn't want to get punched again. She turns the handle slowly and slips inside. No kids were in the kitchen. She sighs in relief and heads to the stairs.
"Hello bitch girl." A voice says from behind her. She gasps and whirls around. Two boys were behind her with baseball bats. They smirk and walk towarss her, backing her into the counter. "You didn't clean my room and I lost privileges for two weeks." The bully from earlier snaps, putting a hand on her shoulder and throwing her to the ground.
Ptelea cries out as she scrambles away from them, looking around for anything to use to protect herself. "I'm sorry!" She cries.
The boy grabs her arm and pulls her to her feet, before dragging her to the back door. "You're going to pay for this girl." He snarls, kicking open the door and throwing her out on the yard. Ptelea hiccups and crawls away, before getting to her feet and running into the grass.
The other boy intercepts her and tackles her, pinning her to the ground, holding her by the neck. She coughs and kicks feebly, trying to get away.
The older boy walks over with the bat. "Any last words princess?" He smirks, before driving the butt end of the bat into her right eye.
She passes out from the pain.

Ptelea comes to the next morning, still in the grass. Her left eye was swollen completely shut. She whimpers and manages to open her right eye. She lifts a hand to her face and gasps, feeling the left side completely bruised and sore. She sobs softly as she checks herself over. Nothing seemed to be broken, but her hair was torn from her head in bloody clumps. She would have to cut it again... Dust coated her knees which were scratched and bloody.
She slowly gets to her feet and then cries out as she tries to use her left arm. Dislocated again... She thinks, tears forming in her eyes.
She uses her other arm to push herself up. She whimpers and heads slowly back to the house. She hoped her one and only friend would be there. She needed to reset the arm...or go back to the hospital again...

Leo blinked up at him and glanced away, before nodding a bit. "I go.." He mumbled, before walking back towards the forest with his head down. "Shouldn't try." He muttered, before shifting and padding off to go back to his solitude.

Xavier blinks and groans. "Wait up kid." He sighs, running after and in front of him. "Hey, I didn't mean that, okay?"
