Jayden blinks and looks down to read what she wrote. "Nice to meet you, Eglantine." He comments, befote shifting and standing up. "To be fair a lot of the Broms keep to themselves for some reason or other. It's just the Brom way." He jokes slightly, hoping she'd take it as him being friendly. He didn't want to offend her.

Eglantine smiles slightly at his joke. She writes again on the pad. "How do you spell your name? Jaden or Jayden?" She then pauses. "Yeah, but not all of them. I only do it because I feel in the way a lot." She shrugs, handing it back to him. She smiles warmly at him.

Jayden looks at her questioningly as she motions instead of speaking. "You came from camp?" He asks, sitting in front of her. "Uh, well I'm Jayden. I'm a brawler but I stay in the forest most of the time." He explains, having not met Eglantine before. His eyes glanced her over.

Eglantine's face fell and she looks down slightly. She sighs and pulls out her sketchbook. She writes a few sentences with her pen before handing it to him to read. "My name is Eglantine. I'm also a Brawler. I mostly keep to myself, since no one wants to be friends with the weird mute girl." She watches for his reaction.

Jayden comes closer and jumps back a bit at the sight of the pen. It looked like a knife. "Brom or what dude?" He asks, before calming down realizing it was a pen. "I'm not going to hurt you."

Eglantine blinks and puts the pen away. She shrugs and points at the Brom camp, then at him questioningly. She hoped she didn't have to bring out her sketch book. Signing and motioning was embarrassing enough.

Jayden blinks and continues moving. She didn't seem to be a threat, and he didn't smell any unusual. Probably just a fellow Brom. He nears her slowly.

Eglantine pulls out her pen, holding out in front of her. Her hands were shaking, and she hoped the pen looked like a knife, so if he was hostile, he'd back off.

Jayden heard footsteps nearby and blinks. He lifts his head up to look around at his surroundings. Eglantine's figure stood out against the trees, but she was further down the trail. He couldn't tell who it was from there.

Eglantine sighs as a cloud floats past the sun. She then pauses, feeling eyes on her. She looks around, seeing Jayden in the distance. She freezes, wondering if he had seen her.

Jayden leaped over some tall foliage and lands in the path to camp. He trots along quietly, deep in his thoughts.

Eglantine walks along, looking up as she walks. She didn't hear Jayden nearby, more focused on making sure the weather stayed nice. She hated being out late when it was dark.
Jayden pads through the undergrowth towards camp. He was in his mountain lion form, and needed a good rest. He glances around every now and then as he walks, in case Elauna were to show up. He didn't want to deal with her at the moment and you could never be too careful.

Eglantine walks out of her tent with a small knapsack which held her pen and paper in it. She didn't really plan on running into anyone, but you never knew. She wanted to get away from the drama of camp and go sit by the river.
Reina flies past all of the doctors and nurses, not stopping when they called out to her. She neared the exit to the hospital and kept going out into the street.

Nadia heard the rushing water after some time had passed. She was sure to remain on her side of the trees, knowing how the groups got about borders and whatnot. She wasn't looking for a fight this day. She just wanted to relax by the water for a bit before returning back to her camp. She would have to change locations soon, as it had been awhile.

Hunter nods. "Oh yes. I'm thinking since we were so lucky with the teeth that something similar should be done." He makes an effort to be loud enough for Ambrose to hear. After all, they were trying to scare the boy the most. Not that Hunter cared. He just wanted to have the information from the experiments and further The Boss's cause.

Dem scowls at the woman. "Who are you and who,do you work for?"

"Doesn't matter who I am or who I work for." The woman sneers as she pulls the needle out of his arm.
"Oh, Ambrose! You must have been so eager for us to meet her. After all, you told us where she was!" Brianna speaks loudly enough for Ptelea to hear her. "Besides, shouldn't siblings go through similar experiences? You've had your turn!" Her soft spot for Ptelea shone through for a moment so she wasn't so willing to go for the same teeth pulling. "Ah, she's nine, isn't she? Any baby teeth left? Wisdom teeth would involve us cutting her gums."

"I'm sorry, Ambrose. It'll have to be this way... Just for a little while." The Boss covers his face, feigning an aura of distraught. He whips out his phone suddenly. "Don't worry! I'll do whatever I can to speed it up." He looks to be typing in something furiously, but it's all for show.

Marik eventually walks out onto the river bank. Indeed, it was the same foreign woman from before. She seemed caught up in her own thoughts, so he just watched her for a moment.

Ptelea covers her mouth with her hands, whimpering. "I just want Rosey!" She whines. She then frowns. "Rosey told you where I was?"
Ambrose pales. "I was drugged!" He snaps at Brianna before looking at Ptelea softly. "Sweetie, it's okay. We're going to get you I promise!''

Ambroses eyes widen. "She's 9 years old you bastard!" He cried, balling his hands onto fists. "Sir...help her please!" He begs, feeling utterly helpless.
