Although it had been unlikely that Destin would be anywhere other than the medicine tent, it was still a huge relief to have him in her sights. All she wanted to do was to fly him out of here. She glances at her talons for a moment, wondering if she could physically do that... No, it would be too risky. Plus the Broms would certainly know where Destin had escaped to. Then they'd just take him again! The look on his face was heartbreaking. There was no way she was just going to leave without assuring him help was coming. She sneaks into the tent.

Destin turns his head at a noise. He looks towards the herb stores. "Hey Elauna, how's it going in there?" He calls out to the healer-in-training.

"I'm doing fine, almost got all the burnt herbs out of here!" Elauna calls back, before sneezing. "It's so damn stuffy back here!" She shouts, cursing again. "Fucking herb smells."

Destin sighs, shaking his head. "I guess you'll just have to get used to that..."

"I'll do my best, Sacha." Espionage was hardly Aya's typical job, but it couldn't be so hard. She just needed to swoop into the tent when nobody was looking. She hoped Elauna wasn't inside. She jumps from the branch to the camp ground, hiding behind a random tent. At least the medicine tent wasn't too far from her and was obvious from its size. After making sure that her advance would go unnoticed by the various Broms enjoying the fresh air, she scuttles across the ground to the entrance of the medicine tent and peeks inside.

Destin was sitting on a cot, head in his hands. Elauna wasn't to be seen. He sighs softly, tears rolling down his cheeks. "I'm never going to get to leave..." He whispers sadly, crying quietly. He composes himself after a few moments, wiping his hand across his eyes as though anticipating someone coming inside.
"My point still stands." Iris shrugs at the comment about the Broms. They were indeed not the warmest group, but she stuck around anyways. They were better to deal with than most of the Rabins, who felt superior most of the time. "Maybe you should get some more. Especially if you rely on those in battle." She glances at him as they continue through the trees.

Xavier shrug. "I hate herb hunting." He huffs. "There's three different herbs I'd have to find, it's such a hassle. Especially alone." He grins at her. "Would you like to go with me to get my herbs?"
"I'd assume that poison wears off. You'd have to deal with me after," she eyes him as they walk. "And I'll take that as a good thing. You really shouldn't make it a habit. Otherwise people around her aren't going ro be too friendly."

Xavier nods. "Well, we are Broms. We're not exactly the most friendly group." He chuckles lightly as he pulls out a knife and holds it up to the light. There was only green on part of the blade. "Im running out of poison..."
<Snipped quote by Fionraella>

"True enough," she replies. "There'd be a real issue if you had done that." Iris continues following and nods. "Oh yeah, real important. Who else would they get to practice their skills on when no one is injured?" She asks, walking up to him.

Xavier chuckles. "It's just paralysis poison, I wouldn't be too worried even if I did poison you" he shrugs. "That's true, but I don't inure people too much...you're just the most recent one."
<Snipped quote by Fionraella>

"I just don't appreciate being cut with knives." She states simply, stopping as he cuts in front of her. "Oh, I bet. If you weren't around they'd be out of a job, I'd assume?" She throws back at him, raising an eyebrow. She was actually slightly amused, but didn't want to show it.

Xavier shrugs. "Hey, at least I respect you enough not to use poison when I cut you." He grins and keeps walking. He then pauses. "Do you really think so? That would make me pretty important." He says, glancing over his shoulder at her.
<Snipped quote by Fionraella>

"Oh, how sweet of you," she says, tone sarcastic. Iris steps lightly as the head out into the forest. "I'm sure the healers will love having your presence in their space as they tend to me."

Xavier smirks and runs in front of her to stop her. "Why are you so angry at me?" He asks curiously. "And the healers love me of course! I'm like their favorite person."
<Snipped quote by Fionraella>

Iris rolls her eyes as he spoke, but looks at him as he approaches her. "Whatever you say, dude." She still looks a bit irritated but continued walking. She'd get him back later or something.

Xavier huffs, a bit annoyed. "Look, no need to get all angry. I'll escort you to the healers tent when we get back and sit with you all night and tell you bedtime stories and everything." He grins, laughing a bit.
<Snipped quote by Fionraella>

Iris looks at him crossly and holds her self up to glare at him. "You shouldn't be attempting to harm your groupmates, idiot." She glances down at her arm and notices the cut, bleeding slowly. She huffs and decides to go with him despite his actions. What else was there to do? "Fine." She snorts, walking ahead of him towards the exit to camp.

Xavier shrugs innocently. "Yeah well. I didn't actually hurt you, so I accomplished what I wanted." He grins at her acceptance to go with him hunting. He tucks his knives away and jogs a bit to catch up with her. "Hey, look I'm sorry I tried to hit you with my knife." He says, sounding a bit less apologetic than he intended.
<Snipped quote by Fionraella>

Iris was lost in thought before she heard his warning, and the knife wizzed past her arm and slashed into her flesh. It wasn't a bad wound but enough for her the cry out in pain and flash an angry look at him. "What exactly is your damage?" She snaps, pulling her arm towards her in recoil. "That was uncalled for!"

Xavier laughs and gets to his feet. "I told you to look out." He shrugs, walking over to pick up his knife. "Hey, I wiped the poison off of it, you should be grateful." He grins cheekily as he picks up his knife. He turns to face her. "Seriously though. The camp is low on food, come hunting with me."
