When it’s time to head into the wilds,he replaces his jacket with a trench coat and puts on his black plate carrier, along with his chest bandolier and his ammo and medical satchels. He wears a utility belt with pouches for pistol mags and a holder for a canteen. His pistol sits in a holster on his chest, his shotgun sits folded on his thigh, and finally his rifle is slung across his body.
Job: Ryker’s main job is being a combat medic for any Hunter, Scout, or Savior squad that goes outside the walls of the Refuge.

Parents: Unbeknownst to Ryker, his mother has died on a mission to take out a settlement of people infected by Blackwater, and his has gone into a deep depression, and is currently on suicide watch.
Biography: Ryker was born in 3001, the son of two proud members of the Silver Hand. Sarah Bane was a long time soldier of the Silver Hand, and Johnathon Bane was a doctor on one of Silver Hand’s multiple bases in the area. Ryker grew up mostly with his father, since his mother was out a lot on assignment. He was able to learn a lot about medicine and life in general from his father, and his mother was a great source of exciting warrior stories about her times outside the base’s walls or hand to hand moves, when she was actually around at least.
Ryker had decided from a young age that he didn’t want to choose either one or the other when it came to following in his parents’ footsteps, and since there wasn’t many different choices of career in this day and age, he decided he would be a combat medic to be assigned to any Silver Hand teams that left the base. His father’s medical teachings and Mother’s training in basic combat that she gave him time from time made bootcamp an easy trial for him to land the exact job he wanted.
When he was 19, Ryker was finally assigned as the combat medic for a squad of about 15 men, most of the soldiers fresh out of boot camp, with a few veterans leading the group. Their main job was to keep the animals that constantly lurked outside of the base’s walls at bay. Their fire missions were usually successful and normally had very little casualties, as most of the monsters weren’t exactly the most deadly in the world.
It wasn’t until about 3 years later, a few days after Ryker’s 22nd birthday, that something out of the ordinary finally happened. Ryker and his team went on a routine search and destroy mission to eliminate a few Trants that were nesting too close to the base. They got to the location, but it was empty. Our course, being the well weathered and experienced soldiers they were, they started searching the surrounding areas to make sure the Trants had left. Sadly, no amount of experience prepared them for the ambush that had befallen them. Packs of Trants attacked them from every angle, and they were spread out too thin. Two Trants found their way to Ryker before his teammates could, tearing off both arms before his teammates could eliminate them and get Ryker back to a safe position. The other medics of the squad were barely able to keep Ryker alive long enough for the back up squad to come in and extract Ryker.
Ryker had barely any blood left in his body before he made it to the procedure to replace his arms. His right arm was replaced by a medically equipped arm, and his left arm with a weaponized multi-tool one. After a few months of recuperation and getting used to his arms, Ryker was ready to enter full-time service again, much to the disapprovement to his parents.
Just two years later, the building on the Refuge began, and Ryker quickly volunteered to enter the espionage force, hoping to be sent to infiltrate the Refuge. Much to his luck, his only competition was a much less experienced and qualified soldier, but they were both put through the Espionage school, and sent to seperate posts.
Ryker trained for 5 years, becoming an even better Spy than he was a soldier, and learned how to utilize his arms well in hand to hand combat, which he excelled in. His medical training was also enhanced, practicing on self healing and medicating, as well on improving his battlefield healing.
Soon after the Refuge was built, Ryker graduated from the Silver Hand Espionage School, and was quickly sent in to attempt to infiltrate the Refuge to provide the Silver Hand with various types of information, such as troop movements or weapon caches or animal hives.
