Howling in pain, the Alpha swiped weakly at Sabrina. He closed his eyes for a split-second, and when he opened them again, the air around Sabrina turned a murky green, thick with sleeping poison.
Rudi had finally broken free from the wolf's grasp, and ran to her. He stopped when he saw the poison.
Is this open?
"Sabrina!" Rudi shouted in alarm before clamping his hand over his mouth. Surely they would question how he knew a member of the Light pack. He was doomed...
Shifting to wolf, he ran up to the edge of the hill. Images of the time he'd fallen down it flashed through his mind, the first time he had met Sabrina. No, I can't fall in love with her..! He shook the thought off and ran after the alpha. He started running but a hand grabbed him. He struggled to follow them, watching from afar.
Rudi watched her go and, when he was sure Sabrina wasn't looking (even though she was) he ran up to his pack, his tail between his legs. He knew there would be dire consequences.
"Rudi!" His mentor shouted as he saw him. He sounded relieved but very stern. "Where the f*** have you been?!" Rudi hung his head low and, in response, said "I'm sorry... I just thought tha-" He was cut off by the Alpha male, the cruellest wolf in the pack.
"You idiot! YOU DIDN'T THINK!! It makes me wonder why I even BOTHER with you Radolph! I DON'T KNOW WHY GOD EVEN CREATED A USELESS WRECK LIKE YOU!" Rudi wanted to cry from embarrassment, from shame, from the terrible feeling of abandonment. No-one wanted him. Alone.
"ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME?!" The alpha asked, raging. Rudi promptly looked up at his eyes, red and burning with intimidation. "Because of this, you useless mutt, you will be punished, you hear me? No food for ANOTHER month. And I guess I'l have to lock you up during the daytime too!" Rudi gazed down at his already malnourished structure. As he shifted to human, a tear escaped which he quickly wiped away. Not again he thought Someone save me from this...please... why was I born in the darkness? I don't belong...
Glancing back at the hill, he didn't feel as scared anymore. He figured that was because Sabrina was by his side. "I didn't want to be outcast... I know that I am not allowed to be with you...I wish it was different..." He sighed."I'm guessing you remember what I said the night we met...you aren't...angry? Upset?" He wagged his tail approvingly as Sabrina's fingers brushed his knotted fur, soothing him.
Coming up behind Faeya, Tristan tapped her arm gently. "Are you okay? You look...lost. I can show you around...?" He could only see the back of Faeya's head, but he could somehow tell she was lost. Just a clever trick he had- assessing peoples bodies, without even seeing their facial expressions, and knowing instantly how they felt.
Cs;
appearence: Like this but his hair is a darker, almost black colour. His eyes are grey-blue like in the picture.
name: Tristan Evergreen
age : 17 lol-->(Meykan Thugs)
Personality: Shy but sweet. Cool when you get to know him. Helpful and seems nice enough not to be in such a boisterous school. However, being shy makes you seem weak, giving him the advantage of surprise when his judo and jujitsu skills are are tested.
other: Crushes Faeya BIG TIME but is too shy to own up to it.
Rudi looked at her stroking his hand gently. She was so sweet, so loyal... he didn't want her to leave him alone. Not again.
He gazed into her eyes. They were so full of innocence, so full of honesty, unlike his. He was meant to be filled with spite, evil, fearlessness. He was meant to be strong, but without her, he was nothing. What had he changed in her? And was it good?
"They're my pack." Rudi sighed. "I guess it has come to the time you need too meet my family...we live in the shadows..." He hung his head and shifted to wolf, knowing he couldn't keep secrets locked in any longer.
Rudi was slightly trembling from all the pressure and anticipation being forced onto him. Clutching his hand gently, he glared at her, but his expression softened as he said, "You...You wouldn't look at me in the same way again if I told you." He said solemnly. "I don't want to change what we have. I'm not sure- just forget it..." Rudi sounded far away, remembering his spiteful argument with Sabrina before. Before...whatever this was.
"But please, you can't go out there. They'll kill you!"
Rubbing his eyes, he realised he was laying on the dew-dropped grass, shivering as the cold hit his face. "Sorry... I just fell asleep. I wanted to be away from the commotion. I'm sorry I got so angry in front of you and the alpha..." He truly looked pitiful. Hewas sorry. He paused at the sound of familiar voices. But they weren't the voices of the Light pack, they were darker...
Swinging his head around so quickly he made it spin, Rudi stared in alarm at the top of the hill. He saw jet-black paws stepping carefully along the edge. Rising quickly, he took Sabrina's hand and ran.
They'd come...
