Derek raised an eyebrow at her while they walked out of the building. "Wow, those are the biggest I have ever seen." He teased giving her tiny arms a poke jokingly. He began to like her, now he knew that. He wasn't going to give anything up for it though. It was weird that he felt so comfortable with her more than most of the people he's been with for a long time. Harry was the only person he could think of that he was more comfortable with. Derek hid a lot of things because he was always scared to show who he truly was, but slowly he felt like he could show her his true self.
He always gave the impression that he was someone who knew what they were doing, and lived up to his father expectations. But he couldn't really. His father and Derek knew that. It was too much pressure. He wasn't able to be a teenager and enjoy himself like most kids can. He was always being watched. If not his father, then teachers, media sometimes, and hell his own peers. How could he show how much of a mess he really was to a girl he just met yesterday?
Derek thought about this, biting his bottom lip and sighing while they went to the mall that was across the street. "Here we are. I'll turn you in a man. Go all Milan on you." He joked going into a store that he liked to go into. He started to look around for clothes. "Go pick out some clothes that you like and I'll tell you if they are good or not." He said.
As quiet as the store was, all Derek could hear was himself. Maybe he should just stop hanging with Diana but himself. He should hangout with her and the group, so nothing will really go on. I can't do that.. Derek thought to himself. He shuffled through clothes while he thought about this. He didn't want to. He just wanted to have a good time with her. It didn't mean it had to lead anywhere. Knowing himself, he knew he would possibly push for more. Not sex though. Thinking too much usually made him upset when he was out hanging out like this but this time he couldn't. He liked her as a friend. I like her as a friend.. He thought to himself just not accepting his feelings.
