As the heroic identity she possesses the power to bring to create, project, and shape her personal mental fortunes and misfortunes with a wave of her hand or a gesture as a dark violet and gold energy capable of attacking, influencing, interacting and manipulating the fortunes of herself, others, and the world around her. In application, she can project any number of things that can aid her through using words. Other words she commonly uses include wall, rabbit, armor, sword etc.
Keystone Magic
As Madame Xanadu, the protector of of magical objects and entities, she has near limitless magical powers, but her mortal body limits her to her favored magic of summoning and banishing magical entities. In application, at all times regardless of identity she carries her deck of tarot cards allowing her to aid her in any situation. For example with the Fool card she can create illusions of and around herself, with the Magician card she can cast simple spells based on the five elements of Fire, Water, Earth, Air, and Void, and with the Chariot she can summon all sorts of vehicles.
Epithet Magic
This is her first, main, and true power, to take on the name of others for herself taking in all of who they are and taking it for herself. A difficult and complicated magical system, but extremely powerful and dangerous. In application this means that she has access to the magic of the names she has taken on, but only when she is properly that name in both mind and body.
Weaknesses: (in order of fatality)
The Curse of Felix Faust
As Tala, she defeated Faust, but with his death came the curse of Mortality. In all her forms she will be Mortal, regardless of her name and her power she can die a mortal death. Tala won, but Faust trapped her in a destiny where she will always die a human death.
First Laws of Magic
Like all magical entities she is bound by the laws of magic. All magic requires the perfect balance of suitable compatibility, energy, experience, and mastery. Improper balance of any will result in any number of consequences from simple and moderately annoying to catastrophic and reality altering.
Keystone Magic Limits
As a near deity like sorcerer protector she acts as a keystone meant to be at the center of all power, and in exchange she must never intervene in the lives of others. She is limited in her power, acting only as a giver of quests, ally, or final guardian in all it's forms.
Jinx Magic
As a deity trapped in the body of a mortal her powers are limited. As a mortal her powers cannot influence and project things that go beyond the improbable that alter reality. For example a frozen mountain cannot be a dessert in one night, but a forest can burn with any number of unlikely fires, and a door that never existed cannot be broken, but locked door can likely to be open. In other words she cannot perform the impossible just the incredibly possible in all forms
Skills:
Occult Knowledge - As a practitioner and magical entity she has seen many and experienced much of what magic has to offer. While by no means is she a master and true magical scholar most forms of magic are things she has familiarity with. She is most familiar with arthurian, grecoroman, urban, and contemporary occult knowledge.
Knowledge of Arts and Sciences - Throughout all her names what has saved her the most is her ability to simply be familiar in the many things life has thrown at her, learning at every opportunity she gets. Things she considers she is the most adept at include cold reading, trumpet playing, card games, dagger wielding, and fashionable sensibilities.
Appearance:
She is a raven haired beauty with sharp features. She has a youthful and mature features nearly impossible to trace. She doesn't don a costume per say, but many do often see her wearing some sort of flowing purple garment and jewelry, or something to that effect. BRIEF Bio:
Who is she?
She is Madame Tala "Nimue Inwudud" Xanadue nee' Faust the Cursed of St. Roch. Her patrons and the villains know her, Madame Xanadu. To her friends and allies she is Tala. To the worthy and handful she is Nimue Inwudu.
By day she lives in St. Roch as the nameless Fortune Teller who works out of her historic Louisiana manor. Many question her validity given her age, and the manner in which she performs her fortune telling, but even more will lead you to her way if you're ever concerned, worried, and seeking some magic in the city of St. Roch.
At night she is the hero Madame Xanadu, hunter of mystical crime and occasional protector of the city of St. Roch.
She is and was an eternally young entity with no name.
Her earliest most powerful name was Nimue Inwudu, a magical deity of the Arthurian Legends, the Lady of the Lake, magical twin sister to Morgaine le Fey, purveyor of destinies, keeper of magical artifacts, and the first wielder of Excalibur. For years she reveled in her life as a magical deity with godlike abilities, but with the Fall of Camelot the name of Nimue Inwudu was lost to history.
For eons her many other names and powers would be lost to, she would grow bitter and angry, finding purpose in her new name.
She would later on claim her most demonic name, Tala, mistress of Hell. As Tala she ruled a portion of hell, tormenting the souls of those who abused the mystic arts. Her rise in power made her the perfect target for Felix Faust, the first and only, who would steal her name and power, demoting her identity to a simple demon without a proper name robbing her of her demonic magic.
Without a name she took to hiding, vengeful and waiting for revenge to act out her form of justice and retribution in her later name.
Her most fortunate name is that of Tala, daughter of the stars, then apprentice, and wife of immortal grecian sorcerer Felix Faust. As Tala she would be remembered as the first to banish and destroy the body of Felix Faust, stopping the reign of an evil demonic and power hungry sorcerer. With the death of Faust came the price of mortality, and the name of his wife and apprentice. Once more she took to the world looking for a new identity.
Her travels as a no named mortal would eventually garner the attention of a much older entity who needed a new name just as she did.
Madame Xanadu, the Fortune Teller of St. Roch, advisor to the lost and weary, collector and keeper of magical entities and objects, and protector of things who have been lost to time. As she became, replaced, and merged with Madame Xanadu she took on her role as a protector and magical keystone, granting her the near infinitesimal power and almost immortality that came with being Madame Xanadu, but in all her power she is trapped in an existence incapable of acting on her own desires.
In the era off heroes she found a loophole, a second name who she could become when the world called for a hero.
Having once met and bargained with Jinx, a deity of fortune, misfortune and the human psyche the two in one became three. As Jinx she could act on the actions and desires of both her and Madame Xanadu. With her second name she found a way to act on her own desires for validation and existence, Madame Xanadu’s desire to protect and save, and Jinx’s desire for mischief and fame.
Here and now in she functions as three separate names and identities. She is a nameless youth wandering the earth seeking validation and adventure, an old crone with limitless power and magic without form and action, and a new deity who seeks a chance at great power and immortality.

Every second counted in every fight, and she lost hers even before it really started. She was on her way to the meeting hall when something crashed from the upper floors. From where she was floating she heard a small crash, next thing she knew she felt the impact of a crashing object near her with a force strong enough to knock her out.
Aurora was not invulnerable, but she was durable enough. She was up and about within minutes. Around her were the Metro Tower staff, a medical emergency aid of sorts she figured given the language and first aid they applied to her. She thought of their actions as uncalled for, but she appreciated the gesture. She gestured for them to stop, and rose form her feet.
Pain echoed from her back the moment she stood completely, not disorienting, but nothing adrenaline couldn’t bandage. Aurora scanned her surroundings and expected her body as she asked the Metro Tower what had happened.
From what she understood there’s a rouge superpower running about the tower. There had been no official decree has been set on how to deal with the threat. Incapacitate as soon as possible was the general consensus given their Superman level damage capabilities. To aurora this meant that all hands on deck, and hopefully the Superman setting mentioned in the old manuals were still in place.
Aurora gave her thanks towards the staff and flew away. Her destination being the chaos. She was good in a fight, but against someone with a Superman level damage capability she would be minced meat within seconds. Still there was something she could do, just not direct combat. If a threat of that level was around there would be casualties that would need her help.
