I'm pretty flexible; it really doesn't matter to me. Considering we're all in the same area, could just start wandering around and possibly bump into one another. My characters haven't even met and I was gonna have them meet that way (if the beginning made it possible). But no, I'm pretty okay with whatever.
McKenzie Freeman pulled the dark-colored shawl tighter around her thin shoulders, her other hand rubbing the silk fabric her dress was made out of. She eyed Lucius with a blank stare. He was dressed quite nicely; she should know. She grew up in a fairly rich family, only being given the finest of clothing. Though, it hadn't mattered to her. She had wanted more. Now, she was dressed in an elegant dress, something she had stolen from her grandmother. She quite liked the look of it, all dark colors and softness.

She stood straight off to the side of the room, breathing in the smells and relishing in them. It was a mixture of smells that appealed to her, though she still didn't exactly know why. She tried to not look at the others in the room too much; after all, she didn't want to lose her calm demeanor. Not just yet, at least. Instead, she enjoyed the feel of cooled silk underneath her fingers as her others fingers held the soft shawl to her body. She felt well covered, comfortable with her hair down and over her shoulders, partly blocking her face.

Naturally, she wouldn't tell anyone but there was a hair pen hidden in her hair, beneath the golden strands; it was almost as long as her tiny hand, hidden behind her ear, and was as sharp as her mother's best kitchen knife. She had to be careful, when she slipped it into her hair. It would be so easy to hurt herself or accidentally take a chunk of hair. She does lose a few strands, because of it, but nothing noticeable. It was a well-hidden weapon and one she didn't usually go out without.

After all, she wasn't sure when she would need to use it. She wanted to use it, use it to her advantage to get something she wanted, but for now, she would be good and wait. She had some patience but it wouldn't last for long.
Sweet Plum said :) Wow.. amazing! You have been accepted!! Now we need to figure out how the characters will run into each other? I still have to write up the start for Robbie and Isabel. Also, if you do not mind me asking, where do you live!? :P

Yay, acceptance! Well, assuming they're all running around the same area, I'm pretty sure they'll bump in to each other eventually. Just randomly happening upon each other doesn't seem too far-fetched to me. I actually live in TN so I know nothing about TX! I've always wanted to go, though.

Oh, college, not fun lol. I'm pretty cool with how everything is going so far. Excited to get started, of course, but I try to be a little patient.
XD my own username gives me sad SPN feels. But yeah, the name certainly caught my interest and the plot sounded fun so hopefully this'll take off :3
I'm interested in this! Sounds like it could be fun.
Well, this took longer than I expected! Technically, it's tomorrow for me so I didn't get this here by last night =P I actually don't have Skype. I tried it out and didn't like it. I probably didn't take the proper time to get used to it but I'm not the most patient person in the world... feel free to PM me or whatever! I totally don't mind talking to you :3

Full Name :: "Name's Joanna Ginger Matthews. Call me Jo or Joey."

Date of Birth and Age :: "Does it really matter? ... Well, it's January 9th. I'm thirty-four."

Male or Female :: "I don't think my voice is that raspy. I'm obviously a woman."

Relationship Status before the Outbreak :: "These questions seem really pointless... it doesn't matter what it was like before... ugh, fine. I was engaged, if you must know."

About Yourself before the Outbreak :: "Grew up in a fine Christian home, my momma use to say. Pfft, yeah, right. Daddy sure was old fashioned, if you know what I mean... if you're an idiot and don't, he hit momma. A lot. Sometimes me too but that don't matter. I got out of there like a bat outta Hell when I turned eighteen and didn't look back. Felt bad for momma but... she had her chances to take me and leave and she never did. I came to Dallas, found a new start. Got a job, fell in-love, was gonna get married and be happy. Life... life surprises you, ya know?"

How Did you Survive the Outbreak :: "It... it ain't easy. I went to my daddy's cabin, which wasn't far from Dallas. Stayed there till I ran outta food. Place I knew well was Dallas. Came back here, stuck to the smaller areas, found food where I could and just survived. No one says this but there ain't no trick to surviving. It's all luck. And one day, that luck will run out."

What Weapons do you Have :: "Got a good ol' pistol, a crow bar that has, well, come in handy, and a automatic crossbow. That's kinda my go to."

What is Within Your Bookbag :: "I did have cigarettes, ugh... went through those. I got a roll of bandages and alcohol. Change of clothes. A blanket, a bag of trail mix and deer jerky. And a canteen for water. 100 shotgun shells and 20 rounds for the pistol. If ya must know, I got a separate holder for my bolts which holds 'bout ten, to make life a little easier."

Any Personal Items :: "I got my daddy's lighter... don't use it that often anymore, considerin' I ran out of cigrettes. I... I also wear a necklace that my momma had given me."

What are you Wearing :: "I don't carry many clothes; just takes up more space, ya know. Jeans... always my boots... a t-shirt always with a long-sleeve button-up. Those dead bastards... they get scratchy if you ain't careful."

What you Look Like ::

What Have you Noticed About the Infected :: "They react to sound and bright light... tough fuckers, they are. They... they don't have any memory of who they were before. Killing 'em is doing 'em a favor, trust me."

Have You Noticed Any Physical Changes in the Infected :: "They're fugly, I know that. Become all rotted and dead yet... not. You know, I don't just stand 'round and check 'em out. I just kill 'em if I gotta and move on."

Who Have you Lost to the Infected :: "These damn questions... lost my fiancé and my parents... well, I haven't seen my parents. Maybe they're alive. Honestly? I don't give a fuck. My daddy was an asshole and my momma didn't fight. As far as I'm concerned, the only person I lost was my fiancé."

How Many Infected Have you Killed :: "What the hell does that matter? All I know is that I've killed 'nough to not care as much anymore."

Full Name :: "My name is Ashland Jacob Chapman. Just call me Ash."

Date of Birth and Age :: "I was born March 14th. I'm only sixteen."

Male or Female :: "I know my voice isn't that high-pitched! I'm a guy."

Relationship Status before the Outbreak :: "If you mean like a girlfriend or something... nah, didn't have one."

About Yourself before the Outbreak :: "I was born in New York City... god, I miss it. I had to move to Dallas when I was eight because this was where my dad was and he won full custody of me. I never really liked it here because I barely got to hear from my mom... a few years after moving here, she passed away in a car crash. It sucks, you know? I hadn't talked to her for almost a month... I didn't really fit in here. City boy in a country town. I had a few good friends, made a couple good memories. Then... the outbreak happened and life got a hell of a lot harder."

How Did you Survive the Outbreak :: "My dad tried to eat me. Yeah, surprised the hell out of me too. I managed to kill him with a knife to the head. I didn't really leave the house. We lived more out in the country so I felt safest here. The only time I went out was for food. It... it isn't fun. Not like a video game, let me tell you that."

What Weapons do you Have :: "I have a hunting knife, a handgun... I don't even know what kind. I taught myself how to shoot and reload it. It wasn't easy."

What is Within Your Bookbag :: "Let's see... a tarp I use as a blanket. Change of clothes. A basic first aid kit. A coffee thermos I use for water. A few cans of beans and a bag of sunflower seeds. 50 rounds for the gun... those are sort of important, aren't they?"

Any Personal Items :: "Uh, a silver ring my mom gave me... said her grandma gave it to her... I always wear it on my left middle finger."

What are you Wearing :: "I try to keep it simple. I mean, who am I looking good for, right? Always jeans and boots, plain t-shirts. Loose clothing isn't a good idea. That's... that's just asking to be grabbed."

What you Look Like ::

What Have you Noticed About the Infected :: "I usually try to avoid them. They are always in groups and they're fast. It's... really scary. I've seen a couple off by themselves and they really hate bright light... I learned that the hard way."

Have You Noticed Any Physical Changes in the Infected :: "They're... rotting. Like a corpse. But somehow still walking around. It's actually really intriguing. But more scary so I don't bother with trying to see the science side of it. If there even is one."

Who Have you Lost to the Infected :: "My dad... my friends... almost my life, a few times. You know, with everything that has happened... it makes you realize how fragile life really is."

How Many Infected Have you Killed :: "I don't count. I don't want to count, it'll only make me feel more guilty. I've killed enough to know I don't want to keep doing it but... whatever to survive, right?"
The Last of Us is an amazing game! I adore it. The Walking Dead is also another amazing thing.

I'm almost finished with my first character; I'm trying to make to them to my liking. So hopefully I'll have them up later tonight!
And here we are!

Name: McKenzie Freeman.

Gender: Female.

Guardian: Her grandmother, Ginger Freeman.

Physical Description: McKenzie doesn't stand out in a crowd. Her height and build is average; her skin complexion pale and creamy. Her hair is fine, straight and falling down to her lower back, the yellow color of a sunflower. Her eyes are a fine blue, almost ice blue, having the typical blonde-haired, blue-eyed look. She loves dresses and is rarely seen in any sorts of pants. She is typically covering herself up with a shawl or something of the sort; she doesn't like any skin showing because of the noticeable abuse her grandmother left on her.

Mental Description: McKenzie is an unhappy and depressive girl. She often yearns and wants things she can't have and that leads to her becoming very angry and violent. She was like this as a child and she couldn't have friends because she would hurt them when she wanted something they had. She doesn't want something from everyone but if she does find something she wants, she tries to take it in a violent way. She's very dark and doesn't often think life is worth living because she can't have everything she wants. The only time she seems to be truly happy is when she's conflicting pain to get something she wants.

Illnesses of the Mind: Very, very envious and quick to anger and violence. Comes off as someone who doesn't care for anyone but herself, even if that might be a lie. Indifferent towards anything with feelings and depressed.

Illnesses of the Body: None.

Prior History: McKenzie grew up in a fairly happy home, where her mother provided her with things she needed and taught her the most proper manners. McKenzie was still unhappy, despite this, and it was deemed she had severe depression. This caused her to grow up with dark thoughts and always wanting things she couldn't have, especially from people her age. It made her lash out and her parents were at a lost on how to deal with her. Especially when she would lash out at them and hit and scratch them. Not knowing what to do, they sent McKenzie to live with her grandmother, Ginger. Ginger was a hard woman who didn't take no for an answer and she used the old-fashion way of beating to punish McKenzie for doing something bad or lashing out.

This only increased McKenzie's depression and darkness and it made her hate her grandmother. McKenzie never made any friends because of the way she was and she was often in trouble for attacking someone to try and take something she wanted (this doesn't just mean objects; sometimes, she would envy another girl's hair and would try to rip it from her head). When her grandmother caught her cutting the fur from her beloved pet cat (McKenzie loved how soft it was and wanted it for herself), she sent her to St. Vincent in hopes of the girl getting help.

Likes:
Material objects.
Dresses.
Fur.
Usually boys.

Dislikes:
Other girls.
People having things she wants.
Her grandmother and parents.
Getting hit/hurt.

Goal: She honestly wants to learn how to control her anger and to calm down and how to be happy. Not that she wants to stop hurting people and trying to get what she wants; she just wants to learn to control herself better. And to kill her grandmother and parents.

Dream: Her honest dream is to find love and have everything she's ever wanted, to finally feel truly happy and beautiful.

Primary Sin: Envy.

Darkest Desire: To find other girls with gorgeous hair and scalp them, keeping the hair as wigs so she could change her hair style everyday.

It's always nice to meet another SPN fan! The most recent episode was all right; slight filler but I still enjoyed it. BF3; that does stand for Battlefield 3, right? I love that game.

Anyway, thanks!
I am so interested in this. This actually reminds me of The Last of Us. By your sig, I see you like that game too and uh, if this is vaguely based on the game, I bet I can guess the plot twist ;)

Anyway, I'll be keeping an eye on this and will probably make two characters quite soon :3
