Blue Demon said Yay! Always nice to see interest, especially from Castiel. <3

Yes, I'm sure it's nice and helpful to have an angel of the lord on your side ;)
Hmm, I'm still interested in this, actually. I really like the sound of it. Hopefully more people will become interested.
Very much interested in this. I'll probably work on a character tonight :3
McKenzie's eyes snapped up from the floor when she realized the man was coming down the stairs. She watched him closely, wondering what he was thinking, what type of person he was. Honestly, she didn't care, she thought after a moment of taking his appearance in properly. There wasn't anything that caught her interest about the man, nothing she wanted- well, perhaps the calmness he seemed to have, the control of himself, she wouldn't mind having that. It was one reason she was here, to better learn to control her anger and not lash out as much as she usually does.

She could tell this man knew a few things, though, and she wasn't an idiot. She knew when to pick and choose her battles. She straightened herself just slightly when his eyes ran over her, pulling her shawl even tighter about her shoulders. She wasn't a weak person and she didn't want to be viewed as such. But something about this man gave her chills, made her want to look away and leave, but she didn't. It was a pointless feeling, one that didn't make much sense to her.

She titled her head a bit when he began walking up the stairs again, after speaking. Were they to follow? Well, obviously. Glancing about her but not looking too hard, she decided to be one of the firsts stepping forward and following. She didn't want to look scared. Because she wasn't. So, with her chin up and shoulders straight, she began to follow the intriguing man up the stairs. She wasn't one for asking questions or for just being rude. She had manners and she knew how to use them so quietly, she followed.
Madison appreciated the fact that Isak seemed to still have manners, even through what happened. It was a moment of normalcy that she could really use. Oh, he was part of the crew. She couldn't recall ever meeting him but then again, she was just the singer for the musicians. It wasn't required for her to know the whole crew and there was enough of them that she couldn't know them all. The man was talkative, that was for sure, and she politely listened as he kept talking. Honestly, it didn't bother her. Seeing another person after what had happened, hearing them speak, well, it was a relief and a comfort and Madison didn't mind his rambling in the least.

"Ah, no, you are quite all right, sir," she assured him, though the thought of water did throw her off her thoughts for one second. Every time she swallowed, it felt like her throat was made of sandpaper and it hurt a lot. She concentrated on Isak, to try and ignore the pains of her body. "I was a singer for the musicians... new, actually, so no. I didn't really know anyone well enough. You're the first person I have happen upon." the shade was beckoning to her and she didn't wait any longer. Heaving her dress up farther, she stepped from the sand and onto the ground of the jungle. She should have kept her shoes, the fear of stepping on something dangerous coming into her mind, but the heels would have been the death of her. She made her way to the clearing and let out a sigh of relief as the shade fell over her. It was still hot but the sun wasn't beating down on her any longer. She turned and fell onto her behind, touching the cooled ground beneath her and letting out another sigh. Water would make this so much better. "Honestly, your talking is not bothering me. It is actually a comfort. After what happened... it's nice to see another living human." she told him, looking up at him and giving him a kind smile.
The sun was almost unbearably hot. Madison almost hadn't noticed it before; she was so keen on finding the voices or just someone. Her face was a bit red, cheeks redder, as well as her exposed arms and some of her chest and neck. She knew she was sunburned and she could feel a bit of sweat rolling down her face. Why was it so hot? She noticed all the shade the jungle was providing and knew she needed to take a break in the shade. But she was afraid of being left alone.

Being left alone wasn't a huge fear of hers but on this island, after the wreck, she wanted to find someone and now. Venturing into the jungle wouldn't do any good right now. She tried to forget the horrors of the shipwreck, the water encasing her and her blacking out from fear. Before she could get her heart rate up again from recalling the memories, she spotted a man and let out a sigh of relief. She wasn't alone, she wasn't imagining the voices. He had almost scared her, coming from the fronds, but she managed to just move faster to get closer and speak to him.

"Hello." she returned and cleared her throat a bit; it felt as dry as the sand felt beneath her feet. It was uncomfortable and she cleared it again, covering her mouth before using that hand to heave her dress up above her ankles again. The sun was helping dry it but the damage was done; it was still heavy and ruined. "I think I'm just getting too hot; besides that, I'll be okay... once I find drinkable water, that is," she said. She wouldn't mind resting in the shade, though; the sun beating down was not helping how she felt. She shook a piece of brown hair away from her face. "I'm Madison. Actually, it is nice to meet you. I'm just relieved to see another face," she told him honestly, giving a slight smile, though it didn't reach her eyes. She was still recovering from the shock of it all.
Madison awoke with a gasp and jerk, jolting upward and beginning to cough. Her mouth tasted of salt water and sand, a disgusting combination. She managed to get her coughing under control and sucked in a sharp breath, lifting a hand to her head and shielding the bright sun from her eyes, feeling a bit woozy. She could barely remember... oh. The screams, the sound of the ship creaking as it went down, the water, the choking fear she had felt. She didn't even know how she had gotten onto this beach. She didn't even know how to swim. She felt the water lapping at her legs, soaking the bottom of her red dress.

She pushed her wet, sand-covered hair back behind her shoulders; it had fallen down from the up-do it had been in. She slowly lowered her hand, blinking hard and letting her vision adjust to the brightness of the sun. She jumped once she heard shouting; it was different people, at different times. Her heart jumped. There were other people. The relief she felt was immediate. She wasn't alone. She ignored how heavy her limbs felt and began to wobble to her feet. She nearly fell down because of the way her heel highs dug into the sand. She fell down onto her hands and kicked the offending shoes off, straightening herself up. She swayed but managed to keep upright.

Her dress felt heavy with water and sand. She went around a stray piece of wood, trying to lift her dress up to make it easier for her to walk. She was already tired, dress weighing her down and making it harder to move forward. The sand was warm underneath her bare feet, sand wiggling between her toes and it almost felt nice. She concentrated on that feeling. "Hello?" she called, thinking she saw people ahead; they seemed to be moving. "Is someone there?" she shouted, nearly tripping because of her dumb dress. She had to do something about that.
CLOSED.

Hello all! *bows dramatically*

I'm flightless-angel-castiel. But feel free to call me one of those three words; none of them bother me and it is a long name to use as a whole.

Before I say what I like roleplaying, let's get the preferences out of the way.

1. I do not roleplay free. I've had this problem before; where I've stressed I do high-casual to advanced and still got more than one person doing one-liners. I love details, the thought process of the character and what is going on in their head. I would really prefer the person to match me and I'll return the favor. I'm okay with two paragraphs, even one big one. Just make sure it's good and well-written.

2. I like talking the plot out before diving in. I like having a few things planned out instead of feeling like a fish out of water. Though, this doesn't mean you can't surprise me. Just make sure it doesn't screw with the main plot, whatever it may be.

3. I like being friends. You don't have to talk to me OOC but I'm pretty friendly. And don't be afraid to ask me questions or ask me to change something or even say you aren't interested anymore. I'll be the same way.

4. I usually roleplay MxM. Typically, in group roleplays, I'll make female characters. I can play both female and male. I've never tried out trans* or anything but I'm really open. I'm open to MxF, FxF, whatever. I haven't really done an FxF, though. Though, if we do MxF, I prefer the female.

5. I want a partner who can reply at least once or twice a week. I have a lot of free time on my hands at the moment but that doesn't mean I'll be on all day. I'll be on and off so expect a reply from me every other day. Unless I'm a roll and really enjoying the roleplay, I'll probably reply a lot more and quicker, too. Do not leave me without telling me. I've had that happen and it hurts; I try to not do that. You aren't going to hurt my feelings. Just talk to me.

6. I usually roleplay either through PM or email. Typically email, these days. But PM is fine. Threads just don't allow you to get as dark or dirty. I do roleplay mature and actually like it. But I don't mind fading to black, if you're that type. And I don't mind thread, either, if you're the fade to black type.

7. I actually think that's all I have. So this number is for no reason. Let's move on to things I like, yeah?

Fandoms:

There's actually one fandom I really, really want to roleplay and you can guess what it is, by my name. Yes, Supernatural.

I would prefer canon characters and I ship both Destiel and Sabriel. I will not budge on the characters being with anyone else, sorry. If you're interested in both the ships (Sabriel doesn't have to happen, I know not many people ship it (I don't mind side Jess/Sam)) or just one, I usually play the Winchesters. I find I relate and connect to their characters more and can play them better.

But I won't mind trying my hand out at Gabriel or Castiel. I'm pretty sure I'd roleplay them just as well. It can be canon, AU, whatever. I'm actually open to a lot of ideas for the SPN world. Actually, really, any idea. I find myself loving SPN AU roleplays. I've never really done a canon RP, now that I think about it, so either one is okay. I actually have a few AU ideas, if anyone's up for a Destiel and/or Sabriel one.

Keeping my fingers cross for that because that's what I enjoy roleplaying the most.

Another fandom I'm willing to play in the sandbox of is: The Hunger Games. I don't mind canon or original characters. Though, I've never roleplayed canon and I'd rather not, to be honest. I wouldn't mind original characters and I'd prefer it to be MxM with an interesting plot. Maybe just like the Hunger Games but with two males in the place of Katniss and Peeta? Or even a girl and boy, I'd just prefer playing the girl in that case. Or even female and female, though that isn't something that really screams to me.

Another: The Host. I've read the book but really cannot recall it. I saw the movie recently, though, and am basing my experience on it. I would really love to do an MxM with this. But again, other pairings are okay. This one just really intrigues me and I'd really like to do something centered around this plot.

I'm in a lot of fandoms but I don't like roleplaying all of them. For now, I'll leave just these three and see if anyone bites.

As for non-fandom, I like a lot of things. I'm also open to a lot of ideas. Let me name the things I'm not used to roleplaying and don't really want too;

Sci-fi. Like, space and being on a spaceship or anything like that. I'm not good at grasping those concepts when it comes to roleplaying, for some reason.

Magic. I'm not too knowledge on a lot of magic-related things. Now, if we figure a plot and your character is magic, totally cool. Just don't expect me to know a super lot. I know a few things but it's just not something I really prefer.

Medieval. I love TV shows and movies in this time setting. I suck at playing it. Really, I've done roleplays with this time setting, and other ones, but, considering I live in the here and now, I'm just best at doing more modern ones. I'm not opposed to other time settings, depending on the year, but it just depends on if it goes with the plot or not.
Right now, my mind is going blank. Maybe those are just the main three things I avoid, I don't know. But anyway, I'm really open to anything else. I like roleplaying a lot of kinks, myself, but I don't like a sex-driven roleplay. I prefer a slow build up to romance and the right dusting of sex. That goes for all of my roleplays.

I really like supernatural settings (obviously). Ghosts, ghouls, vampires, werewolves, all that, I like. I wouldn't mind hearing a plot for something like that.

I like plotful plots. Not the whole 'guy meets girl in high school, drama' thing. I've done enough of those to not like them anymore. Maybe I'll do them, if there's an interesting enough back story or something. Like, a good enough twist. I do love drama, though. I love roleplays that have everything real life does.

I really like kidnapper/serial killer roleplays. I haven't done many of these and the ones I started fell in so I'd like to try something like this. I don't really have a plot in mind but er.
I'm open to a lot of things, okay? So you can just name your craving and if I'm interested, I'll let you know! I'm gonna stop this here since it's so long. Just PM me or reply to me here and we'll see if we wanna roleplay together!

Hopefully hear from some of you guys soon~
Yay! Excited for this to start :3 how many characters are you gonna allow before this starts?
Whoo, finally finished. I decided to just do one for now; I actually took the concept of a werewolf and twisted it a bit, to make it easier for me to play, if that's all right. If not, I'll change whatever. And I wasn't exactly sure of the stores in the outpost. I'm assuming it's like any other town and so I just chose a obvious job for her.
Name: Charlie Jacobs.

Gender: Female.

Age: In looks; mid 20s. Actual; 95.

Species: Werewolf.

Appearance: Werewolves have three different forms; their human form. The form in mid-shift. And their wolf form. Charlie's human form is an average-looking woman; the only thing that stands out on her is the fact she has mini fangs; though, even some humans have those. If you know what she is, though, it makes it a bit more obvious. With fiery red, curly hair that twists down to her middle back and big, green eyes that look hazel in the sunlight, she can be called quite the beauty. Standing at a taller height, 5'10, with a toned, fit body. Her skin complexion is a golden tan, spending a lot of time in the sun and outdoors.

She wears what she finds comfortable and what mood she's in. Sometimes, it'll be dark leggings and a baggy t-shirt. Other times, it'll be a sundress with flats. Often, it'll be a t-shirt and regular jeans with boots. She even wears long skirts and tank tops and goes around barefoot. Sometimes, she'll wear jewelry but it isn't that often. Same goes with make-up. If she's in the mood for it, she'll put it on. But most of the time, she can be found in her natural state.

Mid-shift isn't pretty. It's where the claws and fangs come out, even a shift in the eyes. Mid-shift is easily attainable for werewolves with enough control. Mid-shift takes a lot of patience and will power to keep. It's the place in between human and monster. All mid-shifts are the same; the teeth shift and grow, becoming long, pointed daggers and fangs that barely fit in the human mouth, forcing the person to keep their mouth opened. Fingernails turn sharp, growing into frighteningly long claws that are thick and tough to break off.

Eyes shift, staying the color they are in their human form, but becoming brighter, almost glowing. Their eyes become rounder, more so looking like a wolf's, and gets a glint in them that is certainly not human.

Wolf forms vary among werewolves. Wolf form typically is the color of the human form's hair. Sometimes, even the texture comes into play. Being a werewolf, Charlie's wolf form is slightly bigger than that of a regular wolf. The transformation can be painful, for newer wolves, but over time, it gets easier to deal with. Bones shift and fur bursts from skin, face becoming elongated and pointed to look like a wolf's. Charlie's wolf form is slightly bigger than a regular, healthy male wolf; her fur is longer, the same shining red as her human form's hair if not a bit darker, and there's a wave in her fur that shows her human form's hair isn't all that straight. Her tail is the same; fluffy and red with curling tips. Her eyes are the same piercing green, replaced instead of human life by the glint of a wolf.

Abilities:

Transformation into a wolf; werewolves aren't like the folklore; having the ability to change into a wolf at any time, it depends on the werewolf if they are in control of themselves when they are the wolf or if they become angry and shift without being able to stop; true to the myths, on full moons, all werewolves lose complete control of themselves and tend to go more crazy than usual.

Heightened senses; smell, sight, hearing and even touch is far better than any humans.

Healing; if not from silver, healing is almost a snap for most werewolves. It can be painful, if a broken bone is setting back in place, but it doesn't take no more than a few hours time for a real serious injury to heal.

Agility; jumping, running, climbing and reacting comes a lot easier and faster to werewolves; they also do not tire easily from any of this.

Strength; werewolves are much stronger than the average human, being able to easily lift a car with little effort.

Infecting others; werewolves have the ability to infect humans with the curse upon them but only while mid-transformation or in full wolf form; a simple scratch or bite could be the end of normal life for a human, if neither are fatal.

Appearance; having elongated and sharp fangs/claws that come on before turning into a wolf can come quite in handy.

Weaknesses:

Silver; any type of silver. Bullets, knives, silver-tipped arrows. They all can burn, weaken and even kill a werewolf.

Dismemberment; can't do much without a head.

Aconitum or commonly referred to as wolfsbane; flowers containing this deadly toxin can not only kill humans but can easily take down a werewolf. It's been told that just rubbing it into their skin will just as easily kill them as consuming it will. Even the smell of it can make them sick, even leading to hallucinations, and lead to possible death.

Lunar eclipse; werewolves are rendered completely powerless during this time, basically becoming human.

Drawbacks to healing; broken bones heal easy enough but breaking of the spine or neck isn't so easy; it won't kill the werewolf but it will severely damage them, giving them troubles transforming or even just walking around; it is possible for bones to heal incorrectly and just cause more problems.

Full moons; naturally, this affects all werewolves; losing complete control over themselves and being forced into their wolf form, with a stronger thirst for blood and death; almost all werewolves are prepared for this time and take the correct precautions beforehand.

Personality: Charlie is an interesting girl. If it wasn't her appearance that caught someone's attention, it's her personality. She is always interested in all the new things coming out; books, movies, TV shows, what have you. She is a very curious person, having a tendency to ask questions and learn whatever she can. She craves knowledge and is quite smart but she always wants to learn something new. She can read people pretty well or she likes to think she can. She tends to react to people how they react to her. She will spark up a conversation but if the person doesn't want to speak or isn't reacting to her well, she'll leave them be. She likes to spew random facts a lot, just to try and start a conversation with someone. She talks to herself often, sometimes gets lost in her own world and mumbles on and on with herself, usually when she's reading or doing some type of work.

She listens to people well and tries to be understanding and supportive, unless it's something she doesn't agree with. Being a older werewolf, she has good control since she's older but she still has a short temper. She tries to hide her anger but sometimes, it's hard. She is easily frustrated but one thing she has the patience for is learning, problem-solving and working, figuring out a problem and finding a solution, reading a book or looking up new things. She voices her opinion but tries to keep it respectable, not wanting to offend anyone. She's very open and doesn't embarrass or get flustered easily. She isn't much for flirting or finding a romantic interest but she does know when to show interest in a person, if she likes them enough (woman or man, trans* and alike, she's open-minded). She can talk a lot, if the person she's with enjoys it and it's about something she likes, but she much prefers kicking her feet up and reading a good book.

Background: Charlie has had an interesting life, by far, but when she was a younger werewolf, she found it hard to control herself around humans. Her anger and control was much shorter back then. She was only 75 in werewolf years when she came to Outpost #17. Being a supernatural being, she had heard of all the outposts. She had never really stayed in one place for long, even stayed in a couple of other outposts before, and when she had decided to settle down with her own kind, she was closest to this specific one and chose it as home.

Job: Charlie has been around for quite a while in Outpost #17 but she doesn't announce her presence or do a job that's talked about all over the town. She prefers her name not fluttering around the town's topics. When she first came to the outpost, she did odd jobs here and there. Over the years traveling as a werewolf and soaking in knowledge, she took up a nice set of random skills. After a few years of bouncing around, she finally settled down in the local bookstore. Of course that was an obvious choice for her; the allure of books was just too much for her and once the spot for a stocker opened up, she jumped on it. Now she works in the bookstore, a tiny thing with books mainly on lore and myths, and a few magazines. She usually stocks the books and makes sure everything's in tip top shape and sometimes, she mans the register. She actually knows the owner so well, she has an extra key to the place and will open and close, spending all day there at times. You could call her a manager.
