Ooookay. When I get the chance, I'll fix that!

And oh, is there about to be a fight? Let me get popcorn first!
There we are, my first post is up! Question, do we gotta have our character's spoken words in color?
Cassidy Ann Bradbury

Location: transportation > campgrounds > reception > purple cabin > main hall > media room.
Outfit
Interacting with: herself.

Cassidy was afraid her first day at camp was going to be a horrible one; the reason being was that she had, at first, felt horrible that morning. She hadn't wanted to go by plane, at all, tried to argue with her parents, but they weren't having any of it. They didn't want her driving across the country, they didn't have time to drive her themselves, and flying was faster. She took a flight that would assure her arrival at the camp roughly around 9:25 in the morning, including her drive. Her parents wanted her to feel prepared and know each detail, so she didn't quite feel like a fish out of water. It was a bit overwhelming but Cassie went with it. She knew her parents were going to miss her, especially her mom, so she let her mom dote over her a little bit extra in the airport. The flight had been horrible. Cassie got sick, of course she did, her nerves were so high. She spent most of her time throwing up in either the toilet or a bag, disgusting the people around her. Since the woman across the alley from her rudely said maybe she shouldn't had flown if she was so nervous about it (that was putting it the nicer, simpler way), Cassie opened the bag of throw up, hummed, and aimed it her way while asking, "can you see the chicken I had last night?"

Cassie had been moved after that, the woman completely overreacting in Cassie's opinion. There had been a few empty seats, and thankfully, they didn't put her in a window seat. She hadn't wanted to throw up more. After that stressful flight, she was supposed to have a taxi pick her up. More like a driver, since her parents could afford something a little nicer and have it waiting on her. She nearly hugged the driver upon seeing him with her last name on a small, white sign, like something from a movie. She was back on land and she was so relieved. The car ride went well; there was a divider between the front and back seat, blacked out, and so Cassie flopped down all over the backseat and stared at the ceiling of the car until they arrived. She had propped her feet up on the window, crudely, and so when the driver opened the door, her feet fell down from the sudden pull of gravity. She gave the annoyed-looking man a sheepish smile, since she had left shoe prints on the tinted window, but she couldn't focus on that rude slip-up once she was standing outside the car.

Cassie had grew up in New York City. She had never traveled outside of it. Her parents saw no need too, they had everything they could ever want at the heart of NYC, so why leave somewhere already so great? So, the closest thing to a forest Cassie had ever seen was Central Park, and other parks around NYC. So, all the green took her breath away. It was so green, she felt as if she had just stepped foot on an alien planet. Which she might as well have, because she had never experienced anything so beautiful. And the smell. She breathed in the smell of dirt, pine and just freshness, amazed at how good it felt, at how it made her feel refreshed and excited for the day. She almost missed thanking the driver, since he had put her two suitcases beside her, and was ready to get out of there. She managed to tear her eyes away from the huge expanse of trees in front of her, to say a quick thank you and slip him a hefty tip (given to her just for that task), then turned back to admire the surroundings. Faintly, she heard chatter, laughing, and noticed some parked cars in the lot. She picked up her suitcases, beginning to walk along the path that led towards all the noise, beginning to see people, other teenagers, and what looked to be cabins, a whole ton of them, circling around the large, grassy lot that made up the camp.

"All right, Cassie," the red-head breathed out harshly, her heart beginning to pound a little. "They're humans, just like you... pretty sure they are, at least. Let's just say they are. You aren't a shy person, you're outspoken! You will make friends, and lots of them, and enjoy your time here!" she was mumbling to herself, eyes still glancing towards all the trees and bushes and plant life, still amazed and taken with the sight. "I get to touch a real tree- well, the trees are real in Central Park but these are wild trees! Not domesticated trees." she almost laughed at herself but stopped short, because, well, she didn't know what cabin to go too, and there were so many people running around. She took a deep breath, the fresh air making her feel relaxed, and moved on. It was easy to find the main hall; it was the main hall for a reason, right? It stood out. She found the reception after that, seeing even more people around; a lot must of been new, because there were a couple of people in the reception office, and some people were still lugging around their suitcases, like her. She was glad she only had two; some people had three or more and she couldn't imagine trying to balance all those right now. She got the information she needed and set off towards her new home for the summer.

She felt excited jitters as she entered the cabin. It was empty. "Ohh, firsties!!" she whispered excitedly, looking at the beds offered. She hummed to herself, spinning on her heel, like that would help her decide, before hefting her suitcases and letting them bounce softly onto the top bunk. She didn't mind having a bunk buddy for the summer. She dug around in her smaller suitcase, more of a carry on, and got her little bag of bathroom necessaries. "Oh wow," she said as she walked into the bathroom, taking in just how nice it was. Her parents wouldn't tell her just how much this place was but it had to cost a pretty penny for all this. She brushed her teeth, her hair, and washed her face, wanting to look refreshed, rather than just feel it. She put her things back in her suitcase, again not minding which vanity sink she got, she'd let her cabin buddies choose first. The last thing she did in the cabin was give her parents a quick call, to let them know she had made it safely; she didn't provide details about what happened on the plane ride, even though they wanted them. Afterward, she left, going back to the main hall. She smiled at anyone she passed, a slight skip in her step; the new place made her feel... pretty great. It was so beautiful and new and alien. "Well, here goes!" she whispered to herself before entering the main hall. She hadn't really taken notice of just how packed it was but now that she was officially going in, she saw. She made a circle around the room, just taking in the faces, and exploring somewhat. She went down a hallway and found the room she had been really excited about when she first read about it; the media room. She entered, her eyes lit up. "Sweeeeeet!" she said under her breath, seeing some people already playing on the PS3; the X-box 360 looked open, but she didn't see any controllers. "Aw well," she mumbled, moving over to get a closer look at what game the other people were playing on the PS3, and to watch with open interest and excitement.

William August Whittaker

Location: transportation > campgrounds > reception > red cabin > lake.
Outfit.
Interacting with: himself.

It had been a bitter goodbye when William left for camp; no sweet tacked onto the end of that bitter. His mother was the only one who had seen him off at the airport and she gave his hair a smooth-down while softly saying, "maybe you'll meet a few nice girls, ones different from here, okay?" Will hadn't hesitated to jerk away from her, and yes, purposefully make a scene in the middle of the airport just to embarrass her. Which worked; she grew tomato-red once he was done stomping his foot and shouting about how maybe he'll meet very nice boys there. Afterward, with false cheer and truth, he said, "love you, mama!" he gave her red cheek a kiss, threw a wink her way, and walked off, ignoring all the stares following him, including his mother's own. He only had one bag, his backpack that he had took with him last summer when he left home, and it was stuffed full, with only things he needed. He didn't like taking a lot with him whenever he went anywhere, and the only reason he had a cell phone was to not hear his parents bitch at him for never having a way to contact him. The flight went smoothly; even though he didn't ask for it, his mother got him a first class ticket. He was disgusted by just how uppity that section was and gave his ticket up to some lucky soul to sit in coach. He already had to use his father's money for food and expenses while he lived there; he wasn't going to take anything else.

He also ignored a private driver they had gotten him. Fuck that. He didn't want to have the image of stuck-up, rich boy on his first day at camp. He walked past the man holding the sign with his name on it, whistling, pushing his sunglasses down on his nose and giving the driver a wink as he went by, surely confusing the man. He got a taxi from there, simple and normal, and told him where to go. He settled in and watched out the window. Where Will was from, they had plenty of greenery; their large backyard eventually turned into a patch of woods. However, this felt different. This felt exciting and new. He was actually in another state! A new place, with beautiful nature, and the more he saw, the more he grinned. As the taxi pulled into the parking lot, he hopped out quickly, eyes on all the trees, breathing in the wonderful smells. He loved it. He couldn't imagine going back home to that big, stuffy house, and those uppity people after experiencing this type of nature. Sure, he had seen some on his small travels last summer, but this was different; this was a new place, far away from his family, his home state, and he felt truly free. He slung his backpack on and tipped the driver handsomely; the man looked surprised and asked him if he had made a mistake. "Nah, I'm just nice like that." Will replied, flashing an honest smile, the smells and sights getting to his head, before walking towards where he heard a lot of chatter and general human noise.

He took in all the bodies, people walking to and fro, a lot going into a big building that seemed to almost be in the heart of the campsite. The main hall, he assumed, and followed a couple of people inside. From there, he managed to find the reception office, and get the information he needed. He was excited for the nature aspect of all this; the rest, he didn't really care about. He might make a few new friends, sure, but Will wasn't planning on getting real close to anyone. After all, there was an end to this summer, and Will wasn't going back home; he was going off on his own and he didn't want something (someone) possibly holding him back from that. He left the main hall, ignoring all the people chattering and laughing and introducing themselves, and found the red cabin. Please let me be first, he thought before entering the cabin.

Luck would have it, he was. So far, so good. The day wasn't horrible. He threw his backpack into the corner, not caring what bed he got; hell, he'd rather sleep outdoors, to be honest. He didn't linger in the cabin, instead turning and stepping back inside, to breath in the fresh air some more, and take in the sights. However, his good mood was ruined when he finally saw the huge lake. He gave an involuntary shudder and immediately cursed himself for the pricks of fear he felt across his body. It was just water. With narrowed eyes, he made himself walk towards the stupid lake. He noticed a couple people on the dock and avoided that, instead veering off and stopping a good fifteen feet away from the edge. He pushed his sunglasses up, his hair going with it, and stared at the still water, how the sun reflected and glistened off of it. He gritted his teeth and made himself take a few steps closer. Water is good, water keeps you clean! he thought to himself as he managed a few more steps forward but he stopped there; his heart was pounding and his hands were shaking slightly. He shoved them into his jean pockets, annoyed beyond belief, and glared out at the lake, as if it had just personally offended him.
I'm reading through the IC posts now and will get something up tonight!! My two little nervous camp noobs aww <3
@flightless-angel-castiel His brothers are jerks xD. His family life is the worst >.<. Heartbroken decision for "the man" </3. GOD I HATE HIS SIBLINGS. Accepted!

Yessss, his brothers!! Really mean older siblings and not the teasing ones who still love you while doing it. And ha I forgot to give "the man" a name while typing it and I said... you know what, let the mystery be! but yay, so excited to play him!

<Snipped quote by flightless-angel-castiel>
Who is Will's face claim? I've been trying to figure it out for a few minutes now, but I can't seem to place the face. D:

Wynston Shannon, a male model <3
Here's the Red male!! He got away from me and became his own person, okay, my fingers just went lol.

Oh, I call dibs on the barbed wired bat and the border spikes!
I'll work on a character sometime this week; not sure when it'll be out, hopefully by Tuesday!
Since I have a mutant character, and already have his background written out, he wouldn't be coming from Xavier's institute. Though, if we have any missions involving the institute later, which we probably will, I'm sure my character will be really interested to find out more on his real parents and all that jazz.

By the way, I am co-GM, so if anyone has questions, ideas, or needs help, feel free to contact me or Tene :3
