Current @Potemking: I feel as though you may have a masochistic compulsion. I've broken many a controller over Soulsborne games.

Redguards are technically the Arabians of Tamriel, so wouldn't shouting "Haji" make more sense? No disrespect to my Muslim buddies out there, just sayin'.

[2] It can also be effective in subverting the person's expectations. Take for instance Spec Ops: The Line. Looks like a boring military shooter, but is actually a grim look into the horrors of war.

[1]The 'cover' is meant to entice the person into partaking of the medium, just as an album cover would intrigue someone into listening to the music.

I would like to announce that the teacher was playing Purple Rain in the background and people started a really weird mosh-pit while I was posting this. This is high school in America.

A'right my happy little band of murderers, I'm thinking of skipping ahead to the contracts if that's cool with everyone. Just wanna keep this murder train a rollin' down the tracks.

Also, I won't be on tomorrow till later. Gotta go to a doctor's appointment then it's off to work.

Mei had no idea what just transpired ((BECAUSE HER CREATOR WAS STUCK AT WORK ALL FUCKING DAY!! \>///</)), but somehow it ended up with her in an alleyway with two strangers, a rather tall fellow clad in mismatched armor and a boy who had the muzzle of his gun stuck so annoyingly in her face. She scowled at the two of them, firstly disappointed in herself for letting her guard down and getting caught up in this situation, and secondly...for not killing these two bastards...yet.

"Silly little boys shouldn't play with big people toys." Her Chinese dialect evident as she hissed at the young boy aiming his rifle at her head. "You should put that gun down, before you end up hurt. I have no fight with you, but if you continue to impede me, I swear...you will regret it."

*slaps self* Ahem, all silliness aside, welcome to the club Crit! He's accepted! ^__^
@Doc Doctor

A public library was the last place she expected to find herself, but that is where this particular meeting was arranged to take place. While a dingy, fishy smelling warehouse in the shipping yards could have sufficed, or a dark and desolate alleyway, at least the woman could say this place had a bit more...class, and she was all about class.

She had just arrived not too long ago, dressed in formal pinstripe business attire, a simple yet oh so stylish blazer worn over a white button blouse and a knee length pencil skirt just slit at the side to show off a bit of thigh. Her black stiletto heels clacked across the polished marble floors with each step, an authoritative fervor to her stride. She had on just a tiny hint of French Jadore perfume and her usual shade of rose red lipstick. Her eyes, feral, like those of a daunting lioness, and green as precious emeralds, were concealed in the darkness of her designer shades.

Rebecca Antonia Selie Valentine had arrived.

~"Buongiorno."~ She greeted the hitman in her native tongue, a bit surprised when he replied. Twas as though the man came from another planet to Rebecca. She couldn't even pinpoint the origin of Mr. "First Degree's" accent. Irish? Scottish? Cockney? She was indeed baffled, but at least she understood one word...business.

~"Good. Lets."~ She responded, her ruby red lips curling into quite the smirk.

@CriticalHit Welcome to the club friendo! Just post a CS
Well...Mei just got cockblocked. XD
Despite the sun being out, it was a rather chilly forty or fifty degrees when the Chinese woman stirred from a night of restless dreams, dreams of both good...and bad memories. She sat at a kitchen table, all by her lonesome in an abandoned house she decided to stay the night in, rather than brave the frosty winter nights of the Northern Commonwealth under a crumbling overpass. She was beginning to almost miss the arid desert heat of the Mojave...almost.

Her .45 was broken down into pieces on the kitchen table, each she meticulously scrubbed with an old toothbrush dipped in a can of motor oil, using a tiny steel rod with cloth weaved around it to swab the barrel and the silencer. It wasn't the best way to maintain her weapons, but at least it kept them firing for a while longer.

The expert she was, Mei assembled the gun in rapid pace, not a single part out of place as she put it all together and cocked the slide, setting it on safety.

She stood with a stretch and a yawn.

Last night's mission went smoother than expected for her. A man paid her 350 caps to kill two beastly raiders after the men burned his wife and two children alive. It was easy enough just to draw the bastards out and snipe them, but Mei took a more...personal approach.

She tracked the two men and their rowdy band of chem junkies and cannibals to an encampment in an abandoned hotel. Then, one by one she picked away at their numbers from the shadows, either with a well placed silent headshot or a combat knife slicing their adam's apple. When it was all said and done, both the vicious animals were put down, along with their entire gang.

Xia-Mei relished every kill. The world would be a better place without those bastards preying on the innocent.

After cleaning her weapons and holstering them, Xia-Mei set out from the abandoned house. The harsh white glare of the winter sun caught her obsidian eyes, causing her to squint them with a grimace. She muttered a curse under her breath and continued on.
