Why did the Tyranid cross the road? Because it consumed the chicken's biomass and assimilated its actions into the hive mind...

Hitting his side one more time, he quickly grabs the Railgun on his back and adjusts the scope to CQ. He would only have one quick shot available. There was no time or room for aiming well. With a quick peek around the corner of his cover he assess where the target is heading. With one last inhalation of air he raises the gun to his right eye and swings out of cover.

A massive explosion can be heard, leaving all the participants in the room with a slight ringing in their ears. Where the tang first was, was now just a stream of water pouring in from the outside. It doesn't take long for the wall to heal itself however and the remaining two enemies quickly recover and continue their shooting.

Flynn, so taken aback by the recoil from the gun, slumps back against the wall, gritting his teeth in pain. "I'll never get used to the feeling of that gun." He drops it and picks his smaller gun back up. The shootout between the two groups begins once more.
Aidan nods at the general. "The planet down below is clearly the work of the Dark Gods. Sorcerers have found a way to spin illusions right in front of our eyes. We do not know what the planet really looks like, but it isn't the green and lustrous place you see down there. " His eyes shift to one of the windows, the beautiful looking planet in his sight. "At first we came in contact with some locals who quickly turned on us. That lead us to an invisible tower made of a strange metal. It was clearly the lair of a demon..." Aidan narrows his eyes and holds his breath for a moment. "We... Do not know what kind of demon. However, it is banished. Should be no problem." A lie.

The general turns around as Aidan drops the word 'demon'. "So an Exterminatus it is then?" Aidan responds by shaking his head. "No sir. This planet holds many secrets. Things we could use to learn and prepare ourselves for the future. The way of using illusion magic, the invisible metal, the tribe. All stuff that needs explaining. I say we send down a research team under guidance of three platoons of Blackguard"

The general remains silent for a moment before turning to Valentisha. "Do you agree with Inquisitor Aidan Crowe his assessment?"
Flynn immediately raises his gun and aims at the nearest target. He manages to get of one shot before he's forced into cover by returning fire. A control panel is whats keeping him protected for now. A quick peek over the panel reveals a smaller room with little place for cover. On the far side are, what appear to be, escape pods. He counts seven enemies, minus the one whose head is already blown off. No sight of a girl. That complicates things. What if dressed her up as one of them?

A channel between Williams and Flynn crackles to life. "I'm going to draw their fire Williams. Their focus is going to shift 45 degrees to your left. Stand ready." They hadn't seen Williams entering the room yet, so all their attention was on him. With a quick dash he leaves his cover, takes a few shots and almost jumps into the next piece of cover; a couple of lockers in the corner of the room. None of his shots had hit a target unfortunately enough. The same couldn't be said about the bullets from the pirates.

Punching his side, he tries to quell the pain. A bullet ripped through his side, leaving a nasty looking wound. "Another one for the collection." At least their focus was now shifted away from the door opening.
@Guilty Spark You bring up a good point. I didn't put any 'time or effort' in coming up with a nice story/world. The sole premise of this RP was the voice acting. But even I don't have any motivation to make a new post (on any of my RP's tbh)

Although it pains me to do it, I'm going to close this RP. I know many of you are still interested, but my motivation is just... lacking. I can't come up with new stuff at all. I'm sorry for that...
Any of you is welcome to take use the idea of voice acting. Hopefully you can make a better idea/world/story around it then I did.

I hope I see you in the future and good luck with everything. Roleplay on!
Aah... I like the mini versions more. The bigger they are, the harder they fall and all that. :P Well, we can both come up with stuff the Blackguard uses, so go nuts I'd say.
Just want a quick post from @Oni_ atm before I continue. It's good that I play a rather 'dumb' character. That way I can't solve my own puzzles xD
Yeah... I got nothing for the helmet. That was just a stupid continuation mistake on my behalf. xD
Well, some figures might be cloaked from the scan? With every tech we come up with, there might be a counter part! You never know!
Flynn grabs the container and looks at it. He inserts the tube in an injection slot on his backpack and throws the container away as soon as it's empty. Then he looks back at Williams with a big grin on his face. "I thought you'd never ask." His helmet materializes and his face is, once again, covered. He takes the Falcon from his back and loads in a single bullet.

Some might say Flynn was heartless or at least brain dead. Gore didn't affect him anymore, neither did most shitty situations. True, he hadn't been in the army or anything, and had never really been exposed to real open warfare combat, but it was something with his view of life that made him so calm about most situations. Perhaps it was the way he was raised? Who knew. Definitely not Flynn.

"Right, I'm going to trigger a scan. We will make ourselves known, but at least we know which way they are going." Flynn looks at the closed door in front of them and pushes a button on his helmet. Several beeps can be heard before an echo shoots out of the helmet. Of course, this echo was only visible for Williams and Flynn, for there HUD was synced. Several outlined figures appear a short distance away. One would count about eight, with one figure being smaller then the rest. "Seems we found our friends. Just a couple more rooms."

Flynn kicks open the door and aims down the sight as he quickly scans the room. No hostiles. He beckons Williams to follow.
Yes yes! I am here. Don't worry. I'll type something up in a bit. And if Voltus doesn't respond on the Wasteland thing, I'll respond there too.
