Jin recognized that murderous glare immediately, a glare many of the Knightmares in his world gave him before trying to kill him, combined with that fake laugh and excuse any doubt that he wasn't a cosplayer had been erased from his mind. He had the belt at his disposal and he could probably transform and neutralize him, but the fact that the sorcerer girl still had the grenade with her meant that she could cause damage to herself and others if she were to pull the pin in panic, like if she saw a man in white armor beating an “innocent cosplayer”. Thankfully the high schooler managed to convince her to give the grenade to him, perhaps he wasn't as normal as he looked, but for the moment the fact that he helped Jin remained the only thing that mattered. That thing didn't resemble a normal grenade and with the explanation of the girl it made a bit of sense why that fool was laughing like a maniac when she was about to pull the pin.
“Sick Bastard” Jin mumbled to himself as he prepared to transform, pulling his Excalibur from his bag. It seemed like the kid beside him was already preparing to give the soldier a piece of his mind. “Like the kid said, it's better if you ladies go first since I still have to prepare my costume, since you can't cosplay a Masked Hunter character without a costume” He couldn't afford to let that psycho run around free for even one more minute, especially on a place as crowded as a cosplay event. Pressing a button on his belt Jin was surrounded by a quick flash of light before reappearing in the White Hunter armor “Dunno who or what you are, but I come to deliver judgement unto you!” Jin said before pointing his sword at Kyoran. The belt hadn't recognized him as a Knightmare, so either he was a new monster or just a madman who found a very dangerous weapon, either way Jin had to be on guard.
Age: 32 Gender: Male Personality: Before being abducted Tatsuo was a shy, calm and kind man living life without worrying too much about what may happen the next day. The brainwashing would sour his personality by several degrees, in the 5 years he acted as the Skull Man he was known for his quiet, cold and merciless behavior towards his enemies, not caring about using dirty tactics to get the job done. With his close allies, Tatsuo showed a bit more kindness, eventually becoming concern and grief when he started losing his only friends. On his last moments, before the brainwashing wore off Tatsuo became obsessed with vengeance against the one who killed his teammates, a sentiment the Tatsuo who regained his memories shared, just against a different objective.
Tatsuo has retained the fierce spirit of vengeance of his time as the Skull man but has learned to not to be influenced by it, instead to direct it only against the ones that truly deserve it, unleashing his fury on them while remaining calm as he previously was before he was abducted when not fighting.
Knowing too well his previous reputation with heroes, Tatsuo keeps himself distanced from them, not wanting to start a fight and kill a force of good or die before his quest for vengeance is finished. Tatsuo doesn't consider himself a hero, as a hero has the blood of monsters and evil doers in his hand, not the blood of innocents. He simply sees himself and his powers a means to an end to prevent anyone from suffering the same fate as him.
7 years ago Tatsuo an average salaryman found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time and was abducted by the criminal organization M.I.R.R.O.R alongside other people while waiting for the bus. Once he regained his senses Tatsuo found himself in a rudimentary operating table with a couple of doctors experimenting on him, trying to escape his predicament Tatsuo found himself slowly drifting into sleep despite his bests efforts. Tatsuo wouldn't wake up from that for a long time as M.I.R.R.O.R had learned from the mistakes of various organizations and opted to brainwash their soldiers before giving them any upgrades, to prevent any sort of betrayal.
Now with 40 loyal test subjects, M.I.R.R.O.R began training them to become a force capable of battling against the forces of justice and come out on top. The 40 brainwashed subjects were put through various hellish and suicidal tests to train them to fight against all kinds of heroes and to cull the weak ones. A year after only six subjects remained, with the other 34 either dead or completely broken after their brainwashing reverted, those six surviving subjects were given different enhancements.
Tatsuo was given the codename “The Skullman” by the public after his skull looking helmet and his ability to create and shoot bone spikes from any part of his body. Tatsuo and his teammates would quickly gain infamy and would fight against many heroes who tried to foil M.I.R.R.O.R.’s plans. While initially successful against all who opposed them they soon started having difficulties as their enemies developed better strategies than blindly charging and started using their numbers advantage against them. Slowly their victories became defeats and casualties started to appear until Tatsuo was the only one left.
Grieving his teammate's death, Tatsuo planned revenge against all the ones who killed then, starting with the only surviving members of the Nirengers who were the ones leading the attack that lead to the first death within the team. Finding the Midorenger who had just returned to crime fighting Tatsuo charged against him head on. Unfortunately, the Midorenger had powers Tatsuo hadn't seen when he fought against him before, catching him by surprise and giving the upper hand to the ranger. Tatsuo was defeated by a kick to the head, losing his balance and falling to the river bank and floating away.
The kick in the head managed to awake Tatsuo’s consciousness after 5 years of being brainwashed. His previous grief turned into hatred and anger against the organization that made him, for robbing him of five years of his life, for forcing him and others to become their puppets, for tainting his hands with innocent blood and for erasing his chances of a normal life. Tatsuo swore revenge against M.I.R.R.O.R and other criminal organizations, promising to burn them to the ground even if it is the last thing he does. Two years from then Tatsuo continues his fight against evil, occasionally helping other heroes from the shadows.
Powers: Skull Mask: Comes with battery dependent heat and night vision. It also works as his transformation gear for his armor. Enhanced Speed and reflexes Bone Spike protrusion: Tatsuo can create many spikes made from his bones from any part of his skeleton and shoot them. The spikes can't be longer than his arm and their velocity is inversely proportional to their size, meaning that smaller spikes will travel many times faster than the ones the size of an arm. Acceleration Mode: By pressing a button on the back of his skull mask, small needles inside the mask insert themselves in key points of Tatsuo's brain, taking off the limitations our sub conscious puts on the body to prevent us from irreparably damaging it. Its name comes from the fact that only when the limitations are off can Tatsuo reach his full speed, looking more than a moving blur than someone running. Tatsuo can maintain his top speed for half a minute and the experience can be quite draining at that point, with the symptoms of using ranging from Tachycardia, extreme fatigue and vomit to friction burns and coughing blood.
How they got their powers: Genetic and Cybernetic enhancements. Theme
Jin woke up drenched in sweat in the middle of the night, a familiar feeling of unease set upon him as he went for a glass of water. Ever since he defeated the Knightmare Emperor he hadn't had a good night of sleep, he felt something wasn't right. Everything seemed to point out that he defiance killed him that day and the Alpha system wouldn't be used again. Yet he still felt uncomfortable, waking up in the middle of the night as if his body was telling him to be alert and for him to not drop his guard. He wouldn't last if this continued, Jin had to visit the site where the emperor died to reassure himself there was no more need for the White Hunter, that the Knightmares had been completely eradicated. Just a few moments before opening the door, Jin went back and grabbed his belt, weapons and demonic infusors that were safely stored in a bag, just in case there was really something there.Suddenly after a few steps outside everything went black.
The creature that trapped him revealed himself and talked about someone who tortured and caused misery to his and other world's, as well as creating good things, inviting him to pass judgement unto them. Passing judgement against a race wasn't something he wanted to do again, much less on the offer of some cloaked guy. Whatever he was going to end up after the light returned he had to prepare himself for any hostile attack, quickly grabbing the belt on his back and putting it on. Jin found himself in a familiar yet strange place. He had found himself in Tokyo, not the first time he had been in it but what really surprised him was the sun looking down the city. Did the cloaked guy sent him a few hours forward in time to the morning? What did he mean by world of worlds? Where humans the group of people that he was referring to?. His attempt at making sense of the situation was interrupted by a young soldier.
He definitely looked out of place, even if his introduction didn't oust him. The man put Jin on his guard, there was something in his reaction that seemed that he had quite a few screws loose. Looking at the direction the soldier pointed he saw a few girls surround the high schooler next to him, saying something about cosplay. It was no surprise seeing someone doing cosplay in Tokyo, that Yuuki Kimura cosplay didn't seem too impressive for Jin, the boy looked like a regular high school boy.
When two girls from the group approached him, Jin thought they will ask him to take a photo of them and Yuuki, instead he was told his name and alias. Jin tried his best to hide the shock he had gotten from that question, instead giving the girls a smile and posed for the photo. Causing a scene would definitely attract unnecessary attention so he had to go with the flow now, but the question still lingered on his mind “Why do they know my name?” As far as he knew his actions as the Masked Hunter remained nothing more than rumors to the public, and none of those rumors included his face of name, what's more the girls seemed to think he was a cosplayer like the highschooler.
Trying to keep his cool, Jin had missed the young soldier from his field of view and just like him he seemed more than a very good cosplayer. Hearing his creepy smile Jin turned towards the direction of the sound and saw him talking with a girl. While his deteriorated eyesight meant he couldn't see clearly what exactly he was giving the sorcerer girl, it gave him enough of a bad vibe to go check it. Quickly excusing himself from the girls he ran towards them, shouting “HEY!” in their general direction to try to grab their attention.
Name: Ryosuke Fujiwara Rider Name: Kamen Rider Drifter Age: 24 Sex: Male Starting Gashat: Bakusou Bike Additional Gashats: Insect Wars Kabuto Skills and Abilities: Bakusou Bike: Apart from being slightly faster than the other riders, the one using it can turn into a bike at will, being capable of moving without a rider.
Insect Wars Kabuto: Comes with the Kunai Gun and gives the user a masked mode which is a bulky armor surrounding the rider, making him much durable, but decreasing his speed. The Critical finisher is named Critical Cast Off, where the bulky armor ejects itself from the rider's body, scattering its parts in the area at a high velocity. What remains is a red suit resembling the one Kamen Rider Kabuto had and without the masked form the Rider gains an impressive boost in speed, though not on the level of Clock up. The boost in speed is used to overwhelm the opponent with fast strikes and finishing with a roundhouse kick.
Background: Ryosuke didn't really care about video games till a few years ago, preferring to use his free time participating in street races with his bike. An accident on a race would leave him with many broken bones, his bike damaged beyond repair and many months of recovery. While at the hospital his little brother gave him a new racing game that had just come out, Bakuso Bike telling him that it was safer to crash in a game than it was on real life. While originally reluctant to play it, Ryosuke quickly fell in love with it and became addicted to racing games, using the money he had saved while working as a mechanic to buy a racing game station instead of a new bike.]
@clanjos Do you feel like Clock up would be an OP ability for the Insect Wars Kabuto Gashat to have? I was deciding between clock up or giving the Rider armor like Kabuto has before cast off, reducing his speed but making him more durable.

Over time he grows the resolve to fight Knightmares that want to harm innocents while warning or even protecting those who haven't done anything. Jin adopts a serious persona when dealing with threats to the public, observing any movement his enemies do before rushing in and attacking. Even so, he is not a pragmatic fighter and prefers to fight with as little dirty tricks as possible.
Plot Summary of Original content: Action, Drama, Mystery, Supernatural. Armored Rider Alpha: The animated spinoff of the iconic Masked Hunter live action series. After an armored hero took a fatal blow from supernatural beings called Knightmares to save him, Jin Jin finds himself as the new owner of the alpha hunter system, the only thing capable of putting down those monsters for good. Jin must now deal with the Knightmares on his town and investigate the origin of the alpha system and his previous owner.
Masked Hunter Alpha S2: Action, Drama, Supernatural After the destruction of the Alpha system, humanity finds itself defenseless against the Knightmares, who are uniting under the banner of a creature declaring himself the “Nightmare Emperor.” Jin and the Hypnos Organization must find an alternative to the Alpha system before the growing menace of the Knightmares attack.
Backstory:
Jin initially worked as a police officer investigating a mysterious armored guy that had been reported to appear in diverse parts of the city, with the ones who made the report claiming that he had saved them from a monster. After a day of trying to connect the pieces of the puzzle unsuccessfully, Jin decided to go home.
On the way home, a man jumps in the middle of the road, with Jin barely managing to pull the brakes in time. He explained to Jin that he was escaping from a person in a white armor that wanted to kill him, while initially skeptical Jin decided to investigate, asking the man to where did he see the armored guy and heading that way with the man following behind him.
The man pointed to the forest the town had, and as they went deeper into the woods, Jin began to think that the man had just imagined things. Suddenly someone hidden between the bushes ordered both of them to stop and for Jin to move away from the man if he wanted to live. Not wanting to risk the life of the man Jin told him to stay there as he moved to the direction where he heard the voice, ordering the man to reveal himself.
Due to a lack of response from the man, Jin expected him to attack at any moment, but instead, he found a bloody and injured man, even more so than the man who was running from him. He wouldn't get many answers out of him as he stepped in front of Jin and was pierced in the stomach by a monster.
The monster thanked Jin for helping him in killing the white hunter and ran away into the night, his laughter echoing in the forest. The dying man pleaded in his dying breath for Jin to continue his task of protecting humanity and gave him his belt. Still in shock over the events that happened Jin took the belt and called the paramedics claiming that he had heard him on his way home.
After his identity is revealed as Miyuki Tezuka, Jin decides to do some snooping and investigate his house in search for clues of why did that monster kill Tezuka. It seemed that he wasn't the only one to get the same idea as he meets the very same man who killed Tezuka at his doorstep. The man instantly transformed into a monster as Jin ran back to his car, looking for the belt the man gave him.
The belt was beeping loudly and saying “KNIGHTMARE THREAT PRESENT, TRANSFORMATION READY” in a robotic voice. Without thinking twice, Jin put on the belt hoping that it would do something against the monster. In a flash of light, a white armor manifested on him, and the monster was taken aback for a moment, stopping in his tracks before continuing to charge to Jin's position.
Jin first tried to use diplomacy against the monster, while guarding against his attacks, but the creature just returned the attempts at diplomacy with “Die!”. Realizing that he had to fight to survive, Jin reluctantly began to fight back eventually overpowering his attacker and with all his strength pierced his arm through the monster chest, with its body dissipating into ashes.
Removing his belt and undoing his transformation he searched the house in search of answers. Apart from finding a sword and a knuckle that seemed to go along with the armor, Jin had no luck finding something. Or at least that was he thought of until he found some papers from an organization called “Hypnos” detailing the current known information about Knightmares, which must be the monster he fought earlier.
The creatures called Knightmares supposedly are the manifestation of mankind fears and were given physical forms by four powerful alchemists centuries ago. If ancient records are to be believed the ritual created 108 Knightmares who instead of being subservient as they would believe were murderous and with a burning hatred of humans.
The four alchemists would create weapons to fight them and once they proved unable to destroy them, seal them. Their descendants would continue their work and prepare a weapon capable of destroying them in case they were released from their prison.
A recent earthquake in the region was the straw that broke the camel's back on the seal and released them on a small town. These monsters must be taken as soon as possible as they have the ability to grow stronger when absorbing negative emotions such as fear. Unlike the weapons of old, the Alpha system is designed in a way that the monsters die for good once they are killed.
Knowing the man these papers were sent to was dead, Jin knew he would have to take care of the Knightmare problem until he was able to contact the Hypnos organization. As he tried to find leads on the whereabouts on the organization, Jin meet many Knightmares, the majority of them hostile and unaware that others of his kind had been released. Others only wanted to live a normal human life or had found another Knightmare leading to a two vs. one fight.
He would finally get in contact with the organization after he unknowingly saved a high ranking member from a Knightmare. With the support of the Hypnos organization, it became easier to locate and destroy Knightmares. Things seemed to be going to an end as Knightmares attacks started becoming less frequent.
What both Jin and the organization didn't expect was that a Knightmare would be able to find their location. The surprise attack destroyed most of their research into Knightmares and left the alpha system as nothing more than scrap metal. The perpetrators didn't leave before announcing that the emperor sent his regards.
With no time to build another system, the Hypnos organization began the search for their previous prototypes. Searching their old base, Jin and Hypnos found that the base was also ransacked with only one of the ten demon infusers still functional. These demon infusers could destroy Knightmares as the alpha system, but they weakened the body and could only be used for a short time limit.
Despite the growing blindness in his left eye and the loss of strength in his left arm, Jin continued to use them as he fought the last Knightmares, with the Hypnos organization managing to repair the alpha system just in time to the battle against the Knightmare Emperor. The fight was a close one with the emperor initially dominating the fight, but once the alpha system entered its overclock mode the fight began to side in Jin's favor, with him striking the Emperor in the head with the Alpha knuckle to finish him before passing out.
Once he woke up in the hospital, Jin received the news that he had managed to kill the emperor as only him and ashes were present when they came to rescue him. Happily smiling that his task as a hunter was finally over the series ends its second season.
Weapons, Powers & Abilities:
Alpha System: The iconic armor of the show, and like most of the other armors in the Armored Hunter series the armor is accessed through a special belt. The armor grants its user enhanced durability and speed, making them capable of battling against low-level Knightmares with ease, but struggles against more powerful ones. To mitigate this problem, the alpha system comes with two weapons:
The Excalibur a sword-gun capable of cutting through rock with ease and shooting bullets of the same caliber as your standard pistol.
Alpha Knuckle a brass knuckle that can release a blast of energy with the strength of a grenade, this energy takes a while to recharge once released and as such the brass knuckle is mostly used as a finisher or a desperate attack.
ALPHA OVERCLOCK:A feature added into the reconstructed Alpha system with the intention of pushing the system limits to the max, to go toe to toe with the Nightmare Emperor. Where previously the user had as much strength and speed as an Olympic athlete, now he can punch holes in concrete and is as fast as your standard car. The overclock function last three minutes before the system shuts off.
Demonic Infuser: A device used in the past to fight the first Knightmare incursions, instead of relying on technology to overpower and destroy Knightmares this method uses a mixture of alchemy and magic to capture and seal the power of a Knightmare giving its user some of their powers. Since fusing Knightmare and Human is not a natural process the body rejects the fusion process after five minutes with excessive use mutating and weakening the body. In Jin´s case, excessive use has caused him to lose most of his vision in his left eye, which also has a changed color from hazel to a mixture of different colors and loss of strength and mobility in his left hand.
The Demonic infuser is shaped like a bat since much how a vampire spreads its curse when it bites its victim; the infuser needs to “bite” the user to inject the Knightmare essence in its bloodstream. After that, it is placed on its pedestal (which is nothing more than a fancy belt) as the transformation begins.
The demonic infuser Jin found had two Knightmare powers in it, Yeti and Goliath:
The Yeti form grants him two big claws that have the same sharpness of the Excalibur with the additional ability to freeze everything it touches, easily turning water into ice, with larger bodies and things made up of salt taking up more time to freeze.
Goliath: Jin´s biggest form since its height becomes 2.5m with its weapon the Longinus lance being 3m tall. As Goliath, his defenses raise to the point where he can shrug off most gunfire without much trouble and gains the strength to lift and throw cars. It is not without drawbacks since his speed and agility are reduced by an incredible amount and even if his armor is resistant Goliath has a very visible armorless spot in his back, a spot that faster and agiler enemies can strike if they notice it.

"Hell was originally the most well-known name for the Underworld, and because of that, the Angels have it a bad reputation on Earth. We only changed the name because the old one has a bad connotation."
"Hmm" Charles briefly pondered the answer, it seemed sincere and innocent, but no! Things couldn't be that simple as a human, or more accurately demon resources publicity stunt."That can't be al-" before he could finish his argument the crowd of souls started moving towards the HQ, with Charles falling over and trampled by unaware souls. The good things about being a skeleton meant that you didn't have that many body parts to lose, and after removing the dust from his coat and checking that there wasn't anything missing Charles followed the crowd from behind into the HQ since he had nothing better to do.
It seemed that they were going to meet Envy first, Charles remembered the extraordinary amounts of paperwork he needed to fill for his first house, and for the repairs when it burned down for the first time. Reminiscing about the past, Charles remembered that he should probably report the fire to his house and ask for the paperwork. As much as he disliked participating in the bureaucracy of this place, he had no ability to build a house for himself and as such he was a slave to the system. If anything he should be grateful that he didn't have to eat and drink in this hell or he would have to take a normal job instead of the occasional odd job he takes to pay for many things he breaks. Placing himself in the last place of the line, Charles began waiting patiently by humming a catchy tune he heard when he was alive.
