Aah, he could get used to this. In a way it almost reminded Lucien of home, just fancier and without the bickering and scolding.

He wondered where the others were, but felt too lazy to get up and look. Lucien stifled a yawn then leaned back contentedly into the couch. A pile of books just an arm's length away, a mouthwatering plate of french toast, eggs, and bacon, and a glass of soda too. Hell yeah, these people sure knew how to spoil their guests.

He took a bite out of his piece of toast then pulled one of the books off the table. There was so much to read, it was shame they'd have to leave soon. Plus, Aliquam was grand and he definitely wanted to see more of the beautiful city. The summoner flipped open the book in his hand and was just about to start reading when he heard Syed and the boss talking. Oh, so that's where they were.

He balanced his plate of food in one hand then grabbed onto the books with his free hand. "Hey boss, hey Syed." He placed the books and his plate on the counter before his eyes landed to the milk on the floor.

He noticed that Syed was trying to grab at towels that were a little too out of reach, so the summoner grabbed them for him then joined them by the breakfast bar. "Sucks that we'll have to leave soon, yeah?" He tugged at his hair and sulked, "there's still a ton of things we haven't seen." Like Simon's pictures. He turned to grin at the boss, "AH! I wonder if Simon managed to snap some pictures of those girls we were with too." In no time at all he was grinning like a Cheshire cat.

Cervantes Mansion

Date? To be honest, Xan thought of the invitation to dinner as an opportunity to discuss preventive measures, in case something similar would ever happen again. The thieves had escaped after all, and there was a possibility they would linger around the area. Maybe they would even try to rob the academy again in the future. It'd be best to be prepared and a part of being prepared was coming up with a plan for those type of things.

The look on Aria's and Estelle's faces made her take a hesitant step back. "I was hoping I could talk to him about the possibility of the thieve's whereabouts." But before she could say another word Estelle began ushering her down the hall and Aria had an arm wrapped around her shoulders. The illusionist's comments made the girl flush and soon she had peeled herself away only to bump into their enthusiastic leader.

Well, there was no way she was going to escape Estelle's and Aria's forces combined. Xan let out an awkward laugh before deciding to just give up and play along, "well, it looks like my fate is in both your hands." She felt rather embarrassed but gave both her friends a smile.

It was time to turn the tables on her teammates. She tapped Estelle on the shoulder then pointed to Aria, "Estelle if you ever need any help with Marcus," she didn't know if there was anything between them, but they seemed really close. "You should ask Aria." She tried to put on her most serious expression but it was hard not to let a chuckle slip out. "She's good at this," Xan grinned. "or so she says."

The Midnight Train to Nowhere

No worries, Four ^^! It sucks, that you'll be gone during the R&R period, but on the bright side, you'll be just in time for the beginning of the fifth chapter or so. Leila will miss chances to interact, but in the future we'll be doing more mini chapters between the main ones so there'll be another opportunity for relationship building. I'll NPC her while you're away :) enjoy your trip, Avocado! Thank you for the heads up.

@Time skip discussions

The scene we'll be playing out takes place two weeks (human time) after they defeated the witch so it'll take place inside the castle, but we defo need activities for the rest of the month and a half before we time skip.

Those are great ideas Kimchi! :) I can see the queen telling the guides to bring the hoomans someplace nice (after they recover)

All the ideas are great and I especially love the public event and beach ones! Perhaps the rabbit sisters brought them to a dance at the square and they all get drunk because some Nobody scams them into buying "milk" haha.

We can use that as a basis to improve relationships.

We could say Song bailed one of the drunk humans out of a drunken competition? You guys will need to talk among yourselves for that, but it definitely works. Or maybe Lesley and Martini team up to save someone from drowning at the beach. (It should defo be Ran >8D)

Ran: Oh look Toby! A milk river! *jumps into the river and starts to sink*

MAYBE INADI, JASPER, AND LESLEY GOT STUCK IN A FERRIS WHEEL. Drama fuel ;)

Also, I added stuff to the first OOC post~! It was Aki's idea and nope, Nobodies don't age, so there isn't a legal drinking age in Nowhere.

Gary

They get into silly spats from time to time due to stuff regarding their budget.

C thinks Gary can be a bit too violent and loud, but they're friends and she enjoys listening to the girl speak. She tries to keep Gary out of trouble from time to time and makes it a point to look out for their bouncy hobbit.

Sacha

Like Numair, she thinks Sacha is amazing.

C tries her best to help him with the chores and sometimes kicks him out of the base so he can have a day off. She thinks he works too hard sometimes. C enjoys his company and likes talking to someone less loud than Luke and Gargar. Usually, she drags him along when out on errands because while Luke and Gary make it a point to complain, Sacha actually helps her pick curtains and home decor, and she appreciates that.

Numair

He carries the stuff whenever they go on errands, and that's appreciated.

C thinks he's alright and finds it interesting that he fell out of the sky and onto their ship. She hasn't spoken to him much but has asked quite a handful of questions. So far, she thinks Nums is a good addition to their little family. He treats everyone nicely and Gary and Luke seem to like him a lot.

Luke

Her childhood friend and classmate (though she doesn't remember that xD)

She's known Luke for as long as she can remember and while it doesn't show, she's protective of him and if anything bad were to happen to him the apathy would crumble. C usually drags him out of the base to lurk around Nowhere and sometimes the two go on missions without letting the others know.

Luke

Gary

They're pals, and they do stupid things together. He's got her back, most of the time xD

Luke likes teasing Gargar and calls her dwarf when he wants to piss her off. He thinks her reactions are priceless though cowers in a corner with Nums whenever she unleashes her wrath. Whenever she starts talking smart it makes his head hurt, so he usually tunes her out when that happens.

They do dangerous stuff together, much to Sacha's dismay.

Sacha

His roommate and savior!

Sacha is the only person Luke doesn't try to upset on purpose. because Sacha is in charge of their meals and food is life. They're pals and he really respects his roomie. He thinks of Sacha as the responsible one and as a result will be more likely to obey an order from him than anyone else. Sacha also makes a good barricade and conversation buddy.

Numair

BROFIST TIME.

Like Gargar, Numair is a bro and he enjoys joking around with the surfer. There's a lot of things he doesn't quite understand, like Slenderman and Skyrim but they have a good time talking about silly jokes and playing pranks.

I can see Luke blaming Nums when Gary turns on them. "Yiiikes! Someone has to take the fall."

C

His childhood friend and classmate. He and C have known each other for a really long time but neither remember.

He followed her onto the midnight train and bam Nowhere happened. While Luke still acts somewhat like himself, C has become a pretty different person. They still chill and he enjoys annoying her but something feels off. He used to like her in a "Oh-my-God-I've-fallen-for-my-best-friend' sort of way and finally managed to spill the beans on one super deadly mission. They got together for a bit, but even that has been forgotten by now.

Anddd, done! Good mornight, guys :) I hope you're having a wonderful day. Kei-chan will get the epilogue up tomorrow so those who haven't wrapped up yet please post before then. MUG is excused though, I think his flight back home is today so he'll be pretty busy.

Pirate Age

The Shore

"Kai!" Nolan slammed the butt of his rifle into one of their attacker's noses, "be careful."

Kai was probably the most experienced and capable pirate in their crew, but watching him Run off and leap onto Fenn's ship worried Nolan. Still, there was no time to doubt the man, he had his own battle to fight on the shore. Damn it! It was hard to think when he knew the captain and the princess were underwater and it was harder to fight when he knew his friends lives were in danger too.

The rifle felt extra heavy in his hands. He'd allow the guilt to strangle him later, but at the moment he shot and shot, each bullet sending another man to the ground. How could he look at Annie the same way when this was all over, he didn't know the answer.

"Please! Just stay back," he was snapped out of his thoughts when a soldier approached him with a grenade.

Nolan nodded his head numbly, "thank you." It would be useful but he wouldn't use it unless they really needed to. He clipped it to his belt and continued to shoot, but the chaos died down soon enough, with the help of the king's army, they managed to calm things down.

He didn't realize it, but he was huffing and puffing. The man's eyes flitted across the shore before they landed on the coral pearl. Luro, Marcus, Danny, and even Ray were there but the captain and princess Vivi were nowhere to be seen. Nolan's eyes grew the size of sauces and he rushed to the shore only to witness a guard haul their captain up. "GODS! I-Is she alright?" He was a frantic mess. "IS SHE BREATHING?" Why on earth was their so much blood?!

The cook watched as the soldiers helped their captain. Thank heavens she was breathing! Still, he couldn't help but fret when they took her away to the castle for medical care. Nolan brought a hand to his head and pinched the bridge of his nose.

Yes...they'd all need a nice break after this. He turned to look at Danni and mustered up a smile. Supper, huh? He'd be sure to make them the best fish fillet they've ever seen. The girl walked away towards a depressed looking Kai, so Nolan decided to make his way towards Ray and Luro.

"Well, this was one crazy adventure. Nice to see you again Ray, so..." Nolan tapped the man on the back and laughed. "Where did you get the army? I never knew you had connections in Waterdeep as well?" Luro was being silly again and Nolan couldn't help but chuckle. "Oh, let the captain rest, she deserves it."

Pirate Age

Luro sounds even more drunk than before xD and gangsta Kai....

Wellp, I can't take him seriously, haha!

*Gives everyone a big hug* Dang, both Jasper and Ace don't have any real family members waiting for them and while Leila has her family, the people who actually give her the time of day are the workers tasked with watching her.

And I totally blame Aki, her AU's inspired me to do a little something.

It's supposed to be a couple of snippets (is this the right word?) focusing on an AU where the lost souls die in Nowhere. Their existence ends up being erased but for some reason the important people in their lives end up remembering things they shouldn't.

I was planning to do something for everyone, but atm there's only Lesles and Riley >-<)/

Thingy

Lesley

His mother hates the color pink.

She loathes it with her entire being because it is a painful color. She doesn’t understand why, but it feels like heartache. It’s the color of loneliness, and each time she catches a glimpse of it, she can’t help but feel strands of hair slipping between her fingers.

It smells like bubble gum, but feels like a knife straight through her heart.

There’s a spare room in their home. She and her husband don’t remember what it’s for, but the room is filled to the brim with canvases and unused cans of paint. It’s a little strange, considering that neither of them are the artistic sort, but sometimes she dreams about a sweet child with his fingers wrapped tightly around a paintbrush.

Like most dreams, the details are hazy, but she remembers his hair.

It’s pink—the color of shattered rainbows and broken hearts.

Riley

“Do you have a roommate or something?”

Kim almost says yes. She has never had a roommate, but the place is littered with books and writing magazines and a rusty old bike is parked out in the yard. For some reason, the books and the rusty bike feel like old friends.

In the dog-eared pages of books, she finds horrible puns. She doesn't know why, but the absence of the person who penned them down, it makes her feel lonely. “No, I’ve never had a roommate before.” Strange, she finds it extremely hard to believe the truth.

I'll do something for all the Lost Souls and the hooded figures in the future. *Runs away* OTL I don't know what I'm doing.
