Thanks for the interest guys ^^

Any opinions re: how and when we start?
I'm glad you think so :D and I'm hoping it will be~

I'll most likely leave this int check up till Sunday then early next week I can whip up an OOC and those interested can toss their sheets at me. I'll be looking for a maximum group of four people.
That sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate the anniversary xD! I think the last game I played was Black or something, I need to play the others sometime or maybe give Soul Silver or Platinum another spin. And no worries, I'm not looking for novel-length posts, as long as you can provide three paragraphs, you're in the clear :)!
Wonderful xD now we play the waiting game~

*waves a bowl of cookies*

High on the craggy mountain tops, Absol waited.

It focused its eyes on the clusters of houses below, and the soft comforting glow that came from the streetlamps and buildings. Soon, there would be nothing left of this city, and the regions would be forced to their knees. Calamities were going to happen, everywhere and all at once. It wasn't going to be one earthquake or one big fire—it was going to be worse than that, and the five regions would all suffer the same fate. People and Pokemon alike would die, Absol felt it.

Brief Intro

So hey there, I'm Fox! It's been ages since I've GMed and even longer since I've poked my head around here. I'm hoping to start up a small, character-centric Pokemon RP with a dark and more mature twist to it. Here are some of the things I'm looking for.

  • Two to three people who don't mind a darker take on Pokemon. In this RP, both humans and Pokemon could die. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not going to kill off your OC or anything :P, but some NPCs and their pokemon might wind up dead.

  • People who are willing to help me out with the plot. I don't like it when my teammates rely on me for all the ideas. This is going to be a TEAM effort. And since we're going to be a teeny tiny group I'm hoping we can all brainstorm and move this RP along together.

  • People who are willing to play NPCs and villains with me. We can't have a world composed of only four people xD so yeah~

  • Someone who can post at least three paragraphs.

  • Andddd lastly and most importantly, people who will communicate. This is crucial to RP survival.

Are you still here? You are :o? Awesome!

So what exactly is this RP going to be about?

  • The Rockets are back and badder than ever. After years and years of hard work they captured Mew and started up Project C13.

Mew's powers were harnessed and legendary pokemon were targeted. It was a secret operation that spanned several years but when it reached its conclusion, the results were devastating. Legendary Pokemon from all over the globe began to lash out, starting calamities in the process. (Ex. Kyogre and Groudon have been causing earthquakes and tidal waves, Ho-Oh has been burning down cities, Lugia freezing entire villages and etc.)

  • Our characters aren't going to be big bad rockets or high ranking soldiers, we're going to be playing everyday trainers. Somewhere down the road, our characters will learn about Mew and The Rockets and will then get dragged into a series of events and missions that are far larger than they could have ever imagined.

Just throwing this here to test the waters, anyone interested :)?

As for where we're going to start, we could start shortly before the calamities hit, shortly after they hit, or a few weeks or months after. I'd love to hear your opinions on this.

And lastly, I was thinking our characters would eventually end up as volunteers for the Ruby Cross, (Something like the Red Cross) but I'm not sure I want the OCs to be become rescuers of sorts, sooo we'll see xD, but should they end up volunteering for the Ruby Cross, they'll be trying to save people and crack the case at the same time.

"Die first?" Freddy laughed nervously. "Um, yeah, sure...you both know I wouldn't let anything happen to you guys." Those words were spoken truthfully, but Freddy just wasn't the bravest guy around. Mori tossed the flashlight at him and he fumbled with it for a few moments before finally clasping it tightly between both hands. He pointed the white beam around the room while Mori whipped out her camera and joked around. "Quit it, Mori," Freddy faked a laugh, "you're starting to scare Anna-" the girl gave him a soft kick to the shin and the blonde turned several shades of red. "You're starting to scare us, I mean...but mostly Anna--AGRGHGH" Freddy practically leaped into Mori's arms a second time when the sound of thunder filled the house once more. "No," Anna was laughing quietly at Freddy's little scene. "No floor plans, but I did ask Mr. Shelby about the place." Mr. Shelbey lived not too far from the haunted house, he was a nice man in his thirties who liked to go to the library to read. "Three floors, many rooms, there's an attic and a basement too." "Whoo, this place is huge." Freddy did a few weak fist pumps and whistled again before he heard a few muffled voices. The boy jolted upright and Anna did the same. "Did you or did you not hear that? MORI, put down the camera. I swear, I swear, this time I heard something. It sounded like voices." He shone his swept his flashlight across the room. "Let's just get those photos and leave, you guys can spend the night at my place." The Seniors, Front of Taft Mansion: Breaking In
"Friday," Flynn was using his stern older-brother voice. "The bad news is that we're stuck here until the rain stops. We could get sick and we could get scolded for trespassing. This is private property and it's a school night. He gave his friend a frown but ended up laughing when he started pleading for Aislyn's forgiveness. The redhead just arched an eyebrow at Friday and laughed. "Friday. It's a hair clip. Not my mother's wedding ring." Aislyn gave him a grin, but the smile turned into something more mischievous when her friend practically leapt onto Flynn's back. "It could be a cat or something," Flynn stated. Aislyn nodded her head. "Yeah, it's either a cat, OR it's that guy that went missing." Aislyn stuffed her hands into her pockets and made her way towards Friday with an excited grin. "Okay, Flynn and I are here, so spill it. What's the dare?" There was a challenging tone in her voice, one that Flynn recognized well. Both of his friends could be quite competitive if they wanted to be and he had seen them go bicycle racing, tree climbing and running all day, all in the name of a dare. To be frank, sometimes Friday and Aislyn did stupid things in the name of competition, so he was just glad he was there to keep an eye on them. They were idiots sometimes...but they were his idiots.

Sophomores "I swear to all that is holy, this house is haunted." Fredrick was bouncing on the heels of his feet looking increasingly nervous with each passing second. "Remember that missing person rumor on Facebook?" His eyes flitted across the room, it was an empty, old house that smelled of dust and decay. The windows and all the furniture were caked with dirt and dust, and cobwebs clung to the ceiling like spidery fingers that refused to let go. It didn't help that it was raining cats and dogs, the occult club was stranded. Well, they could always brave the thunderstorm outside but getting zapped and soaked to the bone didn't sound very appealing. "Robert Brown was seen here a few days ago." Anna shivered as a light breeze whipped at the window. "Brown? He disappeared, a month ago." "Yeah, exactly!" Freddy's eyes flitted from the shivering Anna to Mori. "That's what makes it so weird, y'know. He's been gone for a month and suddenly--" The boy slammed a fist into his open palm, "bam, he makes an appearance and here of all places. Don't you think it's weird, Mori? Like really, really, supernatural weird?" A flash of lightning tore through the night sky before the loud roaring of Thunder filled the room. Freddy practically leaped into Mori's arms while Anna wrapped her arms around herself and sat down on the couch anxiously. "M-M-Maybe we should just run back to my place." Freddy's teeth were chattering. "Mom and dad aren't around, I can lend you guys one of mom's nightgowns?" "Freddy's right..." Anna didn't like the house at all. "Mori?" She asked quietly before waiting for a response.
Seniors It was raining, but Flynn came anyway. Friday, Aislyn, and a haunted house sounded like trouble and collateral damage, so he made sure to show up in a raincoat and with his sternest expression. "I can't believe you two. This is childish and irresponsible, and it's a school night." Flynn stood by the door and crossed his hands over his chest. Aislyn parked her bike by the door and laughed. "Well, you're here, so you might as well come along. Anyways, there's no way I'm backing down. Friday dared me, and it's a matter of pride and honor." Flynn rolled his eyes and Aislyn gave him a goofy grin. "Anyways, it's a dare, can't back down now or Friday wins." "Doesn't matter if it's a dare or not...it's, frankly, it's kind of silly." Flynn tried to look like an upset older brother but Aislyn punched him playfully in the shoulder and soon he was shaking his head, but smiling. "Fine, I'll come along to make sure nothing dangerous happens."

It's a little late, but this makes it look official~

"Nguhhh! There we go!" Nolan shoved the barrel into one of the rooms before slamming the door shut. The ship tilted once more and he heard the barrel rolling, but at least it wouldn't fall overboard now. There were still so many things to take care of, so the chef skidded back towards the main deck, scrambling after sacks of food and barrels of equipment. He manage to nab an armful of things and passed some to the captain. "I can't believe we're losing so much stuff in less than an hour." He pushed another barrel into the same room they had been tossing stuff into.

The storm raged on, but there was a moment of peace. Nolan looked at the captain and wondered if this was a sign of the storm's end. "Wha—AGHHH!" He was tossed into the air and he fell onto the deck and rolled, eventually crashing into the railing. Nolan let out a groan before leaping to his feet. "IS EVERYONE OKAY?" the chef yelled as he scanned the deck wildly for his friends. They were all there, but his blood ran cold.

"God save us..." Nolan rushed for the rifle that was halfway across the deck but when he reached it, he didn't know what to do. Was this really how they were going to die. "Captain!" He yelled. "What is that thing? What do we do? Can we shoot it? Should we sail away?" He was rambling now, fingers shaking and as pale as leaf. Sea monsters were supposed to be legends, but this one...whatever it was, it was real.

It could kill them.
