I am probably being a little bit nitpicky with these questions, so please bear with me. When the assignment says "characters must be post-apocalyptic themed" and "avoid cliches", did your teacher provide an example? To me, the concept of a "themed" character runs parallel to cliches. For example, a post-apocalyptic archetype is the desensitized, violent youth, often a child born or raised during the apocalypse who is now much more violent and callous than its parents or even some of its friends. That, while fitting with the setting, is also common enough now that it is a cliche. So, while I realize that the assignment is calling for creative characters, I find those two rules together are somewhat useless and I'd like to know if there was clarification.

Also, do you have a world in mind? Zombies? Alien invasion? Nuclear war? Ruined city or jungle? Right after the apocalypse or centuries afterwards? Any inklings you have already will help us better assist you with your narrative.
I really want to make myself a Halloween set, but I can't think of how I want to approach it. It will probably take me half of October to get my shit together for it, but Larfleeze has inspired me.

Didn't we already have a Halloween thread?

One is not sufficient.

The limit for Halloween threads does not exist.

If you're not playing, lay off.

I'd want the power to cast illusions. I don't know what I would do with it, necessarily, besides tricking people into seeing things my way. I might be inclined to use it to conjure pleasant images, too, but that level of decadence doesn't appeal to me.

I refuse to adhere to 3.

You guys are cheating! That isn't picking power. It ruins the fun when everyone is trying to out Meta someone else.

Technically, they are only picking one power each. Almost every power has some subsets to it, such as ice powers (creation of ice, control of it, probably limited weather control, etc). If you want to claim that they're in violation of a rule, you could argue that Koka's verging on, if not rolling around in meta, but lay off of Derp. Transfiguration, for lack of a better word, especially in relative equivalent exchanges is totally a fair superpower, although probably not one of the six that an eight year old might write down. Being writers on a roleplaying forum, we're not gonna play this game exactly like the grade schoolers in Korea, and that's part of the fun... or else you wouldn't have posted this thread.

Still alive.

Yet, how cruel, that in the forthcoming chapters, so many of us will die.
If you actually got it done, I'd be impressed and I'd happily look into it. But I feel like the plot would be hard to nail down and it might prove to be too much work to please only a few of us.

MmmmmmDo I have to make a sheet?Just write me k cool <3

I figured this would be your response, so I clearly have something in mind for you.

As for Halo's point, I don't mind if the factions get imbalanced, as these wandering adventurers can always swear fealty at some moment in the story if need be. Plus, I figured that Börsegeld would be small and unpopular, but who knows what more sheets will bring?
